Now I estimate the prices of several smart phone, and I am really surprised at the difference of the price.

I will show you the following.

■iPhone 8万円

- iPhone 80 thousand yen

以下、Androidで、

- The next are on Android

■Xperia 4万円

- Xperia 40 thousand yen

■AQUOS 3万円

- AQUOS 30 thousand yen

■HUAWEI 2万円

- HUAWEI 20 thousand yen

The price gaps between iPhone and HUAWEI surprised me.

I cannot understand that the price of iPhone is four times as many as Lenovo Note PC I use now.

You know that I don't like smart-phone much, I have already told this story before. Anyway a smart-phone is just a plate with communication function, for me.

I am not interested in the brand name of the plate at all.

-----

Now the government of Japan is engaging in exclusionary practices for the products of HUAWEI company in China.

A reader who will read this diary after several years, I explain the international trade situation.

(1)Now the U.S. (or the President) is excluding all products of the company from the U.S. The reason is broadcasting "the company has been spying activity with the China government".

(2)And Japanese government has joined the activity as a alliance partner.

(3)Moreover most company in the world that has provides HUAEI with components of hardwares(parts and CPU chips) or software(Web browser).

The problem is that the obvious evidences have not been opened for our engineers. At least I don't know them without providing convincing explanations

As for, Industry journals, specialized magazinea and international conferences, I have not heard "technical explanations" from them.

-----

Of course, if the spyware is caught as an technical evidence, I will say

"What a low-techno company is!"

(Continuation from yesterday)

If the company is charging smart-phones with parts (hardware), it can only be said to be "idiot".

I would never do such an idiot. I think that

"If I do, I will lock on the software. However general purpose applications are out of scope. The kernel is not a good choice, because the cost of remodeling will be huge, and the performance will be degraded."

"If it is, I will prepare the "farm" or "driver" which is close to hardware and difficult for reverse engineers. The most suspicious is the "communication driver".

Even if not me, an ordinary IT engineer will think so.

However, government officials in Japan, if any, sent out this "idiot" information, after that, they was pointed out by the company and the media, and they was embarrassed.

As a result, the low level of IT technology (common sense) of Japan's government (or the ruling party members) was opened, and they seemed to be "self-destructing".

-----

"How would I prepare?"

I thought a little about how to bring in spy-ware that can deceive an engineer like me.

Communications that can be hacked with my skill, are limited to protocols that have been approved by certification authorities (IETF etc.) and are becoming de facto worldwide.

If they are not limited to that type, for example,

"They break into a well-known server and push a back door there. In addition, they let the smart-phone side send ordinary user location information"

But this will be basically uncovered. It is enough to keep a log of all the huge packets and find out the strange packets.

If you think about it a bit more difficult,

"On smart-phones that are GPS synchronized (nanosecond level)"

"Invert and transfer only 1 bit of 1 million packets, disable error bit detection only at that moment, and generate a communication port,"

"Wait for one bit on a fully time synchronized server"

However, even with this method, if someone keep monitoring the communication packet of the smart-phone for a long time, they will definitely see it someday.

Or

"a mechanism that generates communication only when a smart-phone is present at a specific position only for a specific person"

It will becomes difficult to discover.

また、

Or,

"Use near-field communication bluetooth etc. to generate communication only when approaching the target person"

is also possible.

Well, there are various hands.

Even a control system can intrude, so hacks on smart-phones are easy.

When I check it, it seems that some people think like me.

However, the article which has disclosed the evidence has not been found (yet).

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

Let's turn the world by "Number"(58) : Work style reform(17) "

Government's Resolution and "How to Use Numbers" in the Employment Environment for the handicapped

-----

For the first draft of this column, the "EE Times Japan" showed me a "pending in issue".

Well, the reason why they showed it, will be clear, if you read this column.

Our society has some problems that cannot be expressed numerically, this column (also) goes into with its shoes on on of the the problems.

Originally, I had argued that "this problem will be resolved even from the viewpoint of the cost" at the first draft.

However, even I felt fear to talk this problem from the cost view,

"To tell you the truth, I feel fear of it"

When I received a mail from Ms.M, executive editor, we were about to go the post-party for a newcomer.(though I am used not to attend any post-party)

After that, I could not remember how to go home back.

Because I thought deeply how to make an alteration of the first draft on the way to my house..

In the middle of the night, I submitted a new plot to Ms.M, she gave me "O.K." to me, at the day after.

(Continuation from yesterday)

However, once the method has been disclosed, the software that has prepared the method may be deleted and another method may be installed.

As each government, if the spy activity can be monitored, it is better to use it conversely.

From that point of view, it is natural to make the specific method non-disclosure.

On the contrary, I think that if there is an organization or an individual who does such a thing, any government wants to stop it even if I apply pressure.

To begin with, this problem seem to be "cyber spy war", but the essence is the "war" that the United States government launched against the Chinese government.

This war, from the old days, is a the US folk art.

By the way, do you know the term of

It is a US law that was created with the aim of "targeting Japan" as "retaliation" to the import / export imbalance with the United States.

The law was enacted in 1988 to strengthen Article 301 of the US Trade Code (in 1988, it was a time-limited law, but it was revived in 1994).

Of course, our country has been defeated since the 1945 Pacific War. we made a national policy of "do not fight" against any war set up by the United States.

At this time, the government and the private sector cooperated to implement self-regulation of US exports and avoid a trade war with the United States.

It is a matter of course that "to hesitate with the opponent we can not win."

However, at this time, the United States also destroyed various "industrial innovation" in Japan.

As far as I know, development of space technology, super computer and computer operating system were listed as targets.

You might think "even if we cannot export the things to the US, we can buy the things in Japan", however, the activities of the law had another aspect.

A high-pressured selling for American-made products that works as a remedy for trade imbalances

For example, if Japanese satellites, supercomputers and operating systems are "pushed" in Japan, Japanese products will not sell in Japan.

Naturally, companies will not invest in R&D into products that can not sell, and the industrial innovation"will be crushed.

(Continuation from yesterday)

I do not want to say unilaterally "the US is bad".

Even in Japan, for example, by expanding high-speed railways, nuclear power plants, subways, and high-rise buildings overseas, they are smashing the country's new innovative industries.

After all, "global expansion" has the same meaning as "crashing".

Well, I think that Japan does not do press allies by making new domestic law, like not the U.S.(I also think it is putting pressure on the grounds of economic aid).

-----

Anyway, I think this war is going to end easily.

This is a battle for world supremacy in the 21st century, so called "pride's problem"

In contrast, I think Japan, which can use "sometimes you have to lose to win" as a strategy, is a happy country.

Even so,

"Does that silly cold war start?"

I am a little tired to think so.

-----

Neither "the assassination of the prince" nor "the difference in ideology" (well, this was a principle),

In the textbooks of the future,

"The Second Cold War of the two major countries, which began from the first half of the 21st century, began with "smartphones""

When I think that it will be written, I feel emptiness deeply.

I used to work on the safety and health committee of my company, so I was studying about the safety of office.

Several years ago, at the beginning of the period, the general manager of the department said that

"I am surprised that people who were carrying a knapsack on their back"

It is me who was surprised to hear that his opinion.

From a safety point of view, the use of knapsacks is highly desirable in that both hands are free.

"Even if there is a problem, what does the general manager of the general affairs department who should control safety and health say WHAT?"

I couldn't believe my ears.

On the contrary, I wonder if it would be obligatory to use "a school bag for adults".

-----

However, this kind of story also changes depending on the type of work, research staff and sales staff.

I think that visiting at knapsack has a bad impression if you often have to meet people outside the company.

It is a fact that "dressing is a presentation of your inner side".

Because, basically, we have no way of judging what kind of ability or thought other people have from the appearance.

At that time, only the appearance is the only clue.

On the other hand, engineers are easy to understand the inner side. I can understand them by talking or asking them to make something.

For me, "being able to make" is justice.

As long as "being able to make", I am not interested in anything, for example, clothes, hair, words, courtesy, honorifics

(Continuation from yesterday)

I think "high heels" or "pumps" is "The enemy against safety", because they are mounting tools that

- destroy human basic functions (walking)

- cause health damage (impact to muscle and skeleton)

However, I think that it is normal for the feeling that "I want to dress beautifully" to exceed "safety awareness".

"Cute" and "Beautiful" are "justice". Needless to say, it is not my "justice".

So, if a company or organization makes a rule that forbids wearing of high heels and pumps totally because of "safety", I think some people will protest that rule.

And I support the person unconditionally.

-----

But, "cute" may be "justice" but not "duty".

Yesterday, I was really surprised to know that there are companies with a rule that "wearing high heels and pumps is "duty".

At the moment I heard that story, "kidding?" I thought. I still think so.

I heard that the company enforce students who come to job interviews (probably only women) to obey the rule.

I seriously think that

"Are the executives and personnel personnel of the company a perverted group that makes "foot fetish" a secret?

If it is a private preference, I don't care it, of course.

(Continuation from yesterday)

The other day in Japan's Diet, the top person in charge of health and safety in Japan (Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare), answered

"The existence of such a rule is reasonable by social norms"

I know it and I am causing dizziness.

(The above phrase was summarized by Ebata, however, the context might be correct.

"I really wonder how he can think that way on earth ?"

He gave me a headache.

-----

In this case, the Minister's correct answers are

"I think that wearing high heels and pumps is a case within the range of personal preference"

"In addition, from the viewpoint of health and safety and health hazards, I consider it to be " not desirable "to treat as a socially accepted service provision."

Am I wrong?

-----

However, to be honest, I was worried that "I waste words again"

Because I'm not interested in high heels and pumps at all. (Moreover, I'm completely indifferent about the idea of "dressing").

The "obligation" of wearing such as high heels and pumps, might not be something for people who are supposed to wear them everyday (mostly they are women),

So, first, I tried to talk this story to my wife.

She got angry at the moment.

My wife said that both

(1) The existence of a company with such in-house rules, and (2) a statement from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, are just Nonsense.

and rejected them on the spot.

"He carry his folly too far. He doesn't understand how painful it is to spend the day wearing the pumps"

She had argued the third point "pain" which is neither "dressing" nor "safety".

Anyway, I was relieved to know that I didn't waste words.

When I was 19 years old, I started working on my computer, and then I hit a lot of landmines on my computer.

I don't remember how many times that data has become an obscene due to HDD crashes or hardware failures.

So, for these problems, I have prepared quite a lot of preparations.

We have also tried Kernel backup and BIOS settings (USB boot, network boot, etc.) completely, and various startup interrupts such as F1, F12, and CTRL-I.

I have been tired of failing to start up my computer for the past two weeks.

Yesterday, at last, I opened the contents of my PC, removed the dust, and replaced the battery (CR2032) on the board.

Even so, sometimes I was able to launch successfully. I could not say "the board has passed away" with his head in his hands.

I thought that the USB of "the smartphone of HUAWAI" was only used as a power supply mode, and it should not be the target of boot.

However, with the "HUAWAI smartphone" connected, the same phenomenon appeared on two PCs. and with disconnected, the same phenomenon disappeared.

A derailment accident occurred in Yokohama municipal subway, and a certain section was in a state of suspension for several days.

My commuting section was directly damaged and I had to commute on an alternate route.

Under this condition, commuting IC cards such as SUICA and PASMO will become difficult to use.

However, the company that caused (or be caused by)the accident will compensate for the fare for the alternative route. I do not have to pay that fare.

However, current IC cards do not have the ability to automatically convert routes into alternate routes.

So, if I use the IC card, "I" will pay for the alternative route.

"What do I have to do"

I asked the station staff of the ticket gate, he said

"In every ticket gate, show your IC card to the station staff, and do not touch the ticket reader."

"Copernicus-like transformation of ideas"

The IC card has not been "existing" for the first time.

Considering that the IC card should be changed according to the accident section, the cost of system repair can be daunting.

It will also force passengers to make changes such as entering alternative routes, which may cause confusion.

To begin with, such an accident that stops operation for several days is a rare case.

I think that the money that the railway company that caused the accident pays to other railway companies is likely to be "approximate estimation".

Maybe, "no one wants to know exactly to "yen unit" using IC card information"

Honestly, personal injuries occur at a frequency of "Greeting with neighbors," even without saying "everyday greeting."

Therefore, the railway company is in an interdependence relationship.

When I use an unfamiliar railway route, I inevitably get a transfer error.

That day I was in the office until late, I made a mistake on the train to ride, and when I noticed I was in the late night in Kamakura.

I called my wife.

Ebata: "Now, I am in Kamakura"

Wife: "What?"

Ebata: "In the night Kamakura, the air is clear. I can see stars but not people"

Wife: "Why?"

Ebata: "I got on the wrong train. The next train will be in 20 minutes. I will return from now. Today I would like you to pick me up at the nearest station"

嫁さん:「O.K.」

Wife: "I got it"

After this I made another transfer failure.

Ebata: "I smell the tide."

Wife: "What?"

Ebata: "Now, Katase Enoshima Kaigan Station"

Wife:"... Can you return today?"

Ebata: "I think it's getting tougher"

To tell you the truth, I didn't get angry with this accident, because of the good time management of Yokohama Municipal Subway.

In fact, I know well that the recovery from a derailment accident is terrible difficult.

First of all, they cannot install a crane in a tube of subway, and can use only hydraulic jacks.

They should not use electricity to carry the devices to the accident place. The power should be shutdowned around the place for safety activities.

In addition, I appreciated their tasks that they estimated and opened the date and time of recovery, and they could complete it"

Now, many engineers are open their technical troubles on the Internet.

Some people, like me, upload them to their own memo(blog). The others used Wiki and Qiita.

The reason why they, including me, open the information is for themselves, in order to avoid same trouble again,

never "for everyone in the world".

If they have to make a memo, they open it with the light feeling of "for the world incidentally".

There is not intention of "hold a mirror to society" like a newspaper company, but "self-profit" only.

However, at least, the memo is more helpful for me than an article of newspaper.

By the way.

If you ask me "is it a book?", I say "yes". Recently I am interested in an activity.

"Technical Book Festival"

In a word, "Comic Market for Technology"

This is an outline about "comic market".

This event will be held at "Ikebukuro Sunshine City", exhibits and sells easy-to-understand "thin books" about technology, without passing through the publisher.

(The books published at the event are really thin, readable, and convenient, of course without erotic elements. I write "thin book" for my convenience) .

However the contents of "thin book" is really formidable.

Even so, the concept of docker technology is amazing.

We IT engineers have long been suffering for a long time due to inconsistencies in program operating environment, even more than program development.

Due to this environmental inconsistencies, we have experienced a lot of "painful scenes" where the program that runs on the developer side does not move on the service provider side either.

In recent years, virtual machines (such as VMware and VirtualBox) have caused this problem for a while.

However, by separately managing independent virtual machines, I also realized that even in the virtual machines, operating environment mismatch would occur.

-----

By contrast, Docker's thinking is quite simple and violent.

- Without virtualization of the entire system, Pack (containerize) only the necessary parts, and delivered to the people you need

- If necessary, you can just put everything into the container, including the database system.

As a result, now in my "d:" now, there are over 30 containers containing PostgreSQL's body.

"Is there something wrong if I make more than 100 DB units and hold them? "

For a senior engineer who has struggled to save one byte of memory, this is a violent idea that they can never be reached.

However, the size of the container is smaller than the movie's video clips. Totally, there is no problem at all.

As a matter of fact, I thought that the era in which 1T-byte HDDs can be purchased by mail order is around the 22nd century.

I can say the same about studying programming.

We cannot acquire a knowhow about a programming at all with just reading an instructional book.

In order to settle the knowhow, we have to transcribe a sample program on an editor of a PC, compile and build the program.

A program is not a sutram but we call it "codify" as a programming instruction method.

In addition the "settle" will be empowered by debugging, making the development environment, and retrieve trouble shooting, like annoying processes .

-----

However, there is an exceptive person in the cases.

This is a writer of the articles.

The "writer" should organize the logic of their content, and spend ages practicing in order to make a logical story.

As a result, their contents which they wrote by themselves is going to be settled in their mind.

-----

However, after all we, it is difficult for us to do actions or become a writer.

Because we have to live our life and don't have enough time to do them.

So I have done

"to make a abstract of the article by myself".

I think that this is a sort of "codify".

In addition,

"I have opened the abstract on the Internet, if it is not bad one."

With the tension that my works are read by others, I can concentrate to "codify" deeply.

Even if they are also difficult for you,

"Trying to explain a content of the article you read to others"

might be good.

The "settle" may work well to explain your thought to others.

(In my case, I will settle it by talking to my wife")

In our engineering field, there is a saying

"You can say "I understand" when you can explain to others"

This is really a "mot", I think.

------

I think that why the lessons from "Leaders of manga", "Life lessons told by the main character of animation" could not be settled, is

"difficult to apply our life to use cases"

For me, I don't have

- an intention to govern the continent,

- an intention of training to go to space,

- an intention to aim at world champion

at all.

My home's troubles-shooting with wireless LAN and printer failure, and operations of the video server, are my job.

I don't complain of them, however, sometimes, I wonder who manages them at each houses.

------

Before a device called "breaker" spreading to each house (about 40 years ago), there was a thing called "fuse".

This was a metal wire that melted with the heat generated by the excess power, when the amount of electricity exceeded the upper amount. This was in a box called "distribution board".

Even today, this box is often installed at the entrance, but in my home it is in my room.

At that time, this fuse was used to prevent a fire due to a short circuit. (Now the breaker shuts off the electricity)

In many cases, a person called "father" changed the metal fuse.

It was easy to replace it with a single driver, but it was also a rather dangerous task (with the possibility of electric shock).

And, by "showing" such specialized skills, they could make an appeal of "faith of the patriarch".

-----

However, such fuses changes are fundamentally different from wireless LAN problems, printer failure responses, and video server operations.

Because a single driver is useless for the operations.

Well, who is repairing them ?

An electrician in the town might be asked to help.

However, I do not think that the electrician in the town will come to maintenance for the goods purchased cheaply by mail order such as Amazon.

I think that the electrician in the town is only performing maintenance as an after-sales service for the products they have delivered

The other day, I scrapped the one box car and bought a mini car.

Now that my father is dead, my mother has been in bed, and my daughters' schedule was completely unknown, the one box car has finished its role.

The mini car is comfortable.

Because the mini car is small and narrow, the parking is easy.

"The situation where there is only one mini car at home is a bit shameful"

"If the mini car looks like a second car, it's fine,"

Wife: "Yeah, I think it's a psychological resistance to show their bad economic situation."

Ebata:"Well, I think that's a kind of truth."

(1) There are restaurants and hotels where customer service changes depending on the type of car

(2)Some houses have been taken robbery only by having a Benz

From this, it is clear that possession of a car is one tool to show off the status of the house.

Wife: "Well, basically, the economic situation in my home is not good, and my future finances are full of anxiety."

Most of the internet news is often done by cutting off some of the words in an article and giving a title that is completely different from the purpose of the article.

This is done to increase the PV of the article (the number of accesses to the page view count page), and is called "catchy".

The catchy is a very important factor, because the number of PVs changes dramatically.

However, there are other vicious things in catchy that is "different from the purpose of the article". and "making the meaning of the opposite meaning" or "making the contents of the counter argument appear as a conclusion".

Many of us who are readers are deprived of our valuable time by this catchy, and we are guided by articles that are completely different from what we expect.

I used to publish it on a different web publisher (that is not "EE Times Japan", and this "catchy" may not reflect the content of my article, and I have requested changes several times.

I can endure "exaggeration" and "overemphasis".

It was the first time I was advised to walk because of difficult to reach the station on the 4th basement.

----

However, it is very serious on the ground.

First, general vehicles (including taxis) were not running. It is literally "no car".

More than five policemen were standing at each corner of the intersection. The sidewalks were fenced so that only one pedestrian could walk. I also watched seven white bikes standing by for the first time.

If I got a photo, I am afraid that I was immediately overtaken, and honestly, I was even hesitated to stop walking.

In front of the hotel where the Russian President has stayed, the police men guarded, ---- I remember that a photograph of youth officer of the 2.26 case who that occupied the emperor's residence -----, everyone who had to go through the hotel was asked a job question.

Of course, I was asked too.

Police officer: "You only go to the hall, so please go ahead."

I was permitted to pass through, however, what else was an answer?

"I'm just going to bomb around the venue," --- Of course I don't do that. Under such circumstances, people who wants to try such jokes are just "idiots".

Besides, I had to complete the launch of the system at the venue that day. so I couldn't be detained all day long.

Thinking "in a so-called martial government under martial law, every day seems like this.", I also think so, Japan is better not to be such a country.

-----

I wanted to call for a taxi at the hotel, but even it were banned at hotels around the venue.

However, if I was walking with the huge amount of luggage this time, it was more obvious than saying that "Open the luggage, so I decided to go to the venue via the subway.

I reaffirmed that "local preview is important".

-----

Well, than that, I experienced "the greatest fear in history" that the system won't start up just before the production.

But, I am afraid that this fear can not be shared by people other than me. so I will omit it.

I have been a member of various domestic and international exhibitions until now, but for this exhibition, I thought

"Why are you all so aggressive?"

They heard my explanation seriouly.

This time, at the "Super City Smart City Forum 2019" sponsored by the Cabinet Office, we exhibited at the booth.

"Everyone, their eyes are really scary"

They was very nervous.

Most of those who talked were people in charge of community creation and revitalization of municipalities.

And now, the situation "they are troubled in real time" has been transmitted.

-----

I am now contributing to social issues in our country.

In front of the computer while repeating the calculation, I also have the confidence that I have expressed a sense of crisis in my own expression.

However,

"It is far from the feeling of crisis at the live site"

They made me know the real world.

Currently, I am moving from Osaka to my home, and now I am almost exhausted and tired.

In the world, there are many adults who want to insist on that "children who do not play outside have poor grades."

I have consistently thought that this kind of argument is

"How stupid he/she is".

Recently I read the "new theory" again.

I forgot whether the author was a teacher or a teacher, but he insisted that "Children living on high floors of a high rise apartment have poor grades in science".

The reason is that "children living on the high floor" is not in touch with nature and lacks understanding of nature.

The interesting thing about this kind of claim is that the line "This is my past experience of over 10 years ..." has appeared.

I am not interested in the person, whether teacher or a teacher, however, he simply develops his own theory without giving out one "statistical data".

Perhaps he even knows the concept of "testing" in statistical methods.

I am impressed that he can make such a claim without giving objective data.

Many times, I have "killed" my hypotheses based on my own experiments in my own calculations.

At that time, I felt quite depressed and quite uneasy.

I do know that how "this is my past experience of over 10 years ..." is doubtful.

-----

By the way, I was "a child who hates playing outside."

It was hot, cold, and risky moreover I have irritated a poor boy who caress of the leader.

That's why I liked overwhelmingly reading a science illustration, alone in my room.

However, I now have the pride that our understanding and passion for nature is better than those of other adults.

Furthermore, I am convinced that my understanding of nature has been further deepened by acquiring the "simulation" by computer.

-----

Well, that aside.

If he want to claim that "children living on high floors of a high rise apartment have poor grades in science", show me the number first.

I'm tired of hearing the logic of "children who don't play outside have poor grades".

-----

To tell you the truth, I have a claim selfishly without using statistics.

それは、

That is

"Children who do not study have poor grades"

That's all for me.

Maybe I can open the data soon. Pretty easy.
