Recently, I went to a medical checkup and I achieved new record of light weight in my life.

(Later, I will tell you the story that the doctor discussed this success critically with saying "what are you doing?")

Today, I am going to tell you the another story. This time, my vision, which was about "0.7" at the last time became "1.5" of both eyes.

-----

Of course, my recent, a decrease in visual acuity became terrible and I know well that this "1.5" is the wrong measurement result (no doubt).

Needless to say, I don't claim my own guilt (?), like "No way! I request re-measurement!!"

Recently, the vision inspection has also been automated.

The procedure of the machine is that I peek the scope of the machine, "the arc" appears, and I manipulate its direction at hand of the stick.

Before measurement, I was told that "when it is no longer visible, please press this white button,"

Who "declares with my "invisible"? "

Even if I cannot do it, I am going to try to watch the up, down, left and right in the "mind's eye". It is "spirit of the subject".

(Continuation from yesterday)

I don't know the detailed specifications of this optometer, however,

- I manipulate the stick strongly like a flash without hesitation or anxiety, at the moment of appearance of the arc.

and if I get the direction wrong, the same size of arc is coming soon,

- I select one of the other directions if I look like same shape, or I select the same direction if I look like different shape.

The more I try the above procedures, the higher the odds will becomes (no evidence).

This is the same approach of "downed submarine searching problem", which is famous for a merit of Bayes estimation ( the next estimation uses the wrong estimation before)

I want to name this method that I came up with,

"Bayes eyesight test method"

In addition, I want spread this method in the world, that name will be "Ebata pseudo eyesight problem", like "Monty Hole problem". I hope I need your help earnestly.

-----

By the way, I asked my wife "If you cannot watch the arc, could you push the "unknown" button?" and she said rapidly,

"No way. It is kidding"

"Of course, I will fight to the end."

This time, O have achieved a new record of diet, however the the doctor who diagnosed said

"the value of cholesterol is lower"

with warning.

I have never known the phrase in the world.

To tell you the truth, it is a sense of discomfort, which I has been scolded as "radiation exposure is low" at the period of working at "Ichiefu"

Further, Overall, I also have been pointed out that the numbers indicate that the wrong nutritional balance, and the bad values of my liver because of excessive drinking.

-----

It is "great number".

I am impressed that the numbers can shot everything.

The characteristic of my diet is based on "Do not eat if you want to lose weight", and the method has been focused "how to suppress the appetite."

As a means for suppressing appetite,

- Using large quantities of irritants (pepper, horseradish, etc.) on low calorie foods.

- drinking strong distilled liquor (whiskey e.t.c)

These ways are effective, however these means, naturally, destoryed the nutritional balanc. In conclusion, this diet method is not good for my body.

(Continuation from yesterday)

This time, I had started the strict diet control before two weeks, and I could decrease my weight with an accuracy of 0.1kg and approach the target weight.

"Re-victory of numerical diet"

I felt delight for the first time, however, I I never imagined that the luck of nutritional balance pointed a finger at me from the view of "numbers"

-----

I have continued to write in the column, the cycle of "lose weight" -> "calorie consumption is reduced" -> "sense of hunger is reduced" -> "lose weight", will be possible.

However, if caloric insufficiency reaches to the level of the brain, anorexia will be triggered soon.

To the calorie control without triggering the anorexia, the ingestion of a single food is good for the calculation. After all, the nutritional balance will be out of scope.

Appetite, weight loss, nutritional balance. All of them should be lead to "health".

(For me, the viewpoint of "beauty diet" is no longer necessary.)

-----

In conclusion,

(1) the precise biological system that this "Ebata"

(2)has been difficult to control with overall optimization, so

(3)This system has a bunch of very real problems.

Previously, I had written about a certain control LAN protocol.

From the President's Japanese subsidiary that handled the product, I was invited to technology meeting, and in additon, to the social gatherings.

When I was taking a sushi on small plates, with beer cup in other hand, I was called to one person, who were in charge of sales management of EtherCAT products in the company.

-----

"When I go to a customer in the business, I take hard copies of your columns"

"May I ask you "why" ?"

"Well, asking our customer to read the Ebata-san's colum is better than explaining the technical issue of mine. They can understand EtherCAT easiler, and moreover it cracks them up."

-----

The story was literally an eye-opener to me.

"Well, my column is usable like that"

"Column" becomes soon forgotten, after it is read.

So, I can feel happy whenever hearing the story like the above.

This is a related the diary of yesterday. about the series of my column, there were two sale times of printed book, however both were cancelled.

The reason of the cancel were

"What is a new value of printed book even if has already opened in the Web site."

According to the web based column, the restriction of the number of page is loose, the modification of typos are easier and the claim from readers is accepted readily.

For me, it is good for a person like me,

"Start running first, even if there is a time of thinking"

On the contrary, printed books are not good for me, because I am not good at controlling amount of pages and typos, and I prefer to use several types of fonts of characters.

Even so, I cannot help but admiring the printed book on the middle shelf of the bookcase.

-----

I have already given up the my dream.

In my present frame of mind, "my columns are useful for someone" is enough for my joy.

I hear that an certain company try to open an executive meeting including the executives, department manager, section chief, to all employees.

I think that the trial in itself is not bad.

I also think that it's a cheap good strategy to share the company's decision-making mechanism in real time, from the viewpoint of information sharing and willingness to unite.

However, the company seems to have executive who laments that no opinion comes from the bottom.

Every time I hear such a story, I think

"Did this person joined the company as an executive from the beginning?"

In the first place, we can not take the risk of giving such opinion by ourselves.

It is a serious disadvantage to make evil speech and make evil stand out.

Initially, it is worst itself as a strategy to disclose your inner heart in an organization.

We can survive our organization only by hiding my inner heart and acting.

In addition, some executives will lose their temper easily, even we say honest opinion.

"That is different!" An executive who puts opinions during the statement of a young employee shouted. They amaze me with thinking "they do not even notice self-contradiction of their behavior."

Why don't they do "consensus-building" first?

If they are serious and want to hear the bottom opinions, they should be careful about preparing "by-bidder".

If they prepare about three "by-bidder" and order to say an exotic opinion first, the other employee can feel safe and start to express the opinion.

In the past, there seemed to be many charismatic executives who can harmonize the battlefield and make everyone have a free opinion.

(Continuation from yesterday)

On the other hand, recently I think there are many immature executives who cannot "control softening the situation". That's a pity.

I am afraid that an air cleaner is still more useful than them.

-----

Above and beyond this

I have an proposal if you really want to know the opinions of corporate underclass.

How do you think to make a system that displays the anonymous comments of corporate underclass on the presentation screen like the way of "Niko-Niko movie",

"Stop talking about allocation of mere trash in a sloppy way"

"Are you dummy? Do you really believe that we can achieve such a fairy-tale sales ?"

"You are really a typical evil of elder, You may die"

The meeting that the screen become full of such above messages,

tingles me, with just the image.

-----

Come on! Would you try this way, if you think that you can put up with these disrespectful message in the meeting ?

At least I can assume that you could get bottom lines of corporate underclass perfectly.

I stopped the simulation and took my glasses off with a sigh, and said to her.

This weekend, I made a simulator of "ultra-simple" U.S. presidential election (that needed less than two hours).

I have no brain and time to come to think a mathematization, I always use enforcement measures for some problems.

This time, I enforced the calculation of

voting for three hundred million people in the U.S.

However, this calculation seems to be heavy for my computer, it is needed about five seconds per one election.

Even if the five seconds are needed, the performance is more that ten thousand times than a super-computer whose cost was a hundred million yen in the 1970's

I think that "I am really alive in good time". and I grateful for all efforts of computer engineers in the world.

"Papa, do you have any trouble with National Land and Transportation Ministry(MLIT) ?"

I found a document from MLIT at the stairs,

Ebata:"Well, I was only asking the Public Relations Division of the MLIT to release data on railway accidents, I think it have just arrived"

SD:"Do you have strong connoisseurs that you can provide information from government agencies?"

Ebata:"I just used the No, I just used the regulations system by the law"

(*)Procedure under Article 9, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Information Disclosure held by Administrative Organs. Now you can request publication on the Internet

Ebata:"You learned at school" you can request the disclosure of information to the public (public administration) didn't you? "

SD: "Well, I know it as knowledge, but I was surprised that the person who actually do the procedure is closer."

-----

To be accurate, the real story was The MLIT uploaded data to the server, however, I could not mature using the system and I was in trouble unable to download.

The other day, I got a call from the MLIT and I talked about the above circumstances, the person in charge said, "it is O.K., I'll send it on CD-ROM."

Recently, I am likely to avoid drinking sweet taste soft drink can.

In the beginning I felt hard for me, however, I get used it sooner rather than later.

So, I buy "gray coffee" mainly, but it is almost impossible to meet my favorite one.

In my case, the price of the can coffee is relatively expensive for me, So I wan to choose the best for me.

"fading my favorite coffee from a vending machine"

This accidents happen considerably.

I don't know, however, I am afraid that the relationship among favorableness of mine and others might be opposite.

I am also sorry that it happened for not only "coffee" but also "beer" "appetizer".

The reason might be simple, that regrettable memory is just unforgettable.

However efficient persons are efficient just for their work, and sometimes they are a ring-ding for other things.

"No way. Is there a pictures of the meat pieces scattered on railroad tracks ?"

I came to complain about the photos.

Because I cannot calculate the dynamic friction coefficient, the rolling resistance coefficient, and the restitution coefficient, in order to specify the correct position where scattered meat pieces are distributed.

This is a fictive story of "nation and guardians force children to watch a program of public-service broadcast(like NHK), that is a sort of hard-core porn in order to arouse their sexual desire"
