"Software program" has a merit that "If you code it with a smaller object, it moves as it is even if you enlarge the object".

So, for example, if you have five control targets and then extend it to hundreds of thousands, the program will work well in principle, however it is not always doing well.

If the target remains small, the effect can not be seen. However, if the target becomes larger, the effect often becomes beyond my predictions. This is a prominent phenomenon with big data or AI technology.

Then, I have to select one of the hundreds of thousands of objects and carefully track it.

However, just creating this new tracking program will need tremendous difficulty.

"Programs that do not move as expected" are truly scary things that can not be compared.

And, I was really exhausted with such a program.

-----

One day I said, "I was exhausted from the bottom of my heart", I told my daughters

"Okay? my children. Do not try to do more than your own ability"

"Set the upper limit of you at 80% of your ability"

"Even if your ability is "assessed low", what's the matter? "

"Even though you can think "Yes, I can", you should have a courage to insist "No I can't". This is a tip for your good life"

-----

The girls saw their exhausted father with warm eyes and said,

"We understood, Papa. We will never "challenge", so please be relieved."

As a technical approach of official document alteration problem, recently,

"Solving by using block chains"

The columns are scattered in the air.

However, I think "really?"

-----

Because, unless public sentences are submitted to the block chain system, the "Third Party Approval / Monitoring Process" which is the block chain's effect will not work at all.

Then, I think that (1) nobody will not submit the document to the system, (2) Analog (handwritten) procedures before using the system will increase.

Of course, the block chain has the merit of being able to guarantee the identity even without disclosing the sentence (as it is in ciphertext) (is it?), so I think that it is desirable in terms of confidentiality. However, If you only want the above functions, "digital certification" is enough.

"I wonder if there will be a motivation to install a new block chain system by spending money?"

If I am wrong somewhere, please tell me (really I know that "I do not know").

In that case, we will apologize soon and issue corrections.

(Continuation from yesterday)

Basically,

"everyone does not want to have past (and unfortunate) information"

I think that it is a common story that any organization, even if it is a individual.

In most cases, "IT systems solve everything" is a rare case, and the effect of the system changes greatly depending on who uses the system.

-----

In my case, when fighting someone or something, I will distribute that "battle data" with a simultaneous broadcast e-mail (Of course, it annoys me).

"Encrypted documents I only can solve are arriving at the same time to more than ten people.

By just this fact, everybody (even court) can accept the material existed when I distributed the mail.

But, if I do not send the mail, it is the same as "I did not do anything".

-----

"The nightmare "handwritten document" is not coming"

With that kind of guarantee, I agree to install any system.

I told you again and again that I believe

"Easy is a justice"

"Technology make our life easier"

故に、

Therefore,

"Technology is a justice". This is my cherished motto as an engineer.

-----

However, it is also true that "technology" often leaves behind "human being".

An technology that ignores human's capability and environment, is not enough for a justice.

Recently I can understand deeply this fact, when not only returning home, but also attending at the neighborhood association(NA) meeting.

-----

I calculated the ratio between digital native and non-native frankly before.

The result was 6:4.

In short, 60% persons in my town are not annoyed by IT works and services of NA.

Company and government offices will discard the 40% persons and drive the IT works and services.

In my opinion, "IT is a technology and a technology makes me easier."

Of course, I know well that the purpose of IT is "money(cutting job)"

(To be continued)

(Continuation from yesterday)

On the other hand "neighborhood association (NA)" and "IT" are incompatible awfully.

Because NA cannot "discard the 40% persons" by nature.

Significance of existence of NA, is to provide local residents with "voluntary" and "equal" services.

And there is nothing more annoying than

"Noone can annoyed by analog"

In short, even by current analog managements and services, all local residents can get get and provide current services.

-----

However, from the viewpoint of "digital native", analog managements spend much money and time is inefficiently, the motivation is going down dynamically.

Now, many residents is leaving the association because of being out of conceit with this inefficient.

Let us show the example as follow.

→ Web

(1)Receptionist of community hall on every Sunday

-> the task will be lost by Web service.

(2)Regular meeting in the weekend holiday

-> The tasks are also lost by mailing-list and tele-conference system.

→ Web

(3)Circulation board

-> No cost and no delay by Web

drinking party, e.t.c.

Any "digital native" (at least, I) will get angry if the valuable weekend time of mine is spent.

(Especially, these outrage me, as a weekend engineer and writer)

(Continuation from yesterday)

Be that as it may, it is undeniable that the above (1)-(4) is worth its weight in gold.

町内会には、企業のように、強制的にF2F(定例会議とか、幹部報告とか、飲み会とか)を実施する手段がありません。

Neighborhood association(NA) has no method, which is, for example, compulsive Face to Face meeting(regular meetings, executive reports and drinking parties) like company's activities.

There is less communication opportunities absolutely.(No Sazae-san's world now)

In order to keep and maintain a town community, an "analog management" is indispensable super-method.

However, if continuing the inefficient "analog management", it is inevitable that younger residents, who are used to "digital management" are running away from NA1.

-----

Now I am trying to drive "Hybrid NA management with both analog and digital".

However, my family strongly opposes it ,saying "stay out of trouble!"

I also think "the board member of NA is a sort of unlucky, and I stay there quietly" is optimal strategy".

Regrettably, that is right.

-----

When I am in self-contradiction, I have a magic phrase only for me.

"I will write this trouble in my column and release it to the world"

However I am afraid that few people can this magic spell.

whether you think "NA is equal to "unlucky"" or "trying to change the view".

It depends on you.

I hope you will do your best.

Some people will read this my diary after several years, so I will explain the background.

When I wrote this diary, there is "Ou-Sumo", which is a national sport in Japan, (However, I don't know that is really a sport or a shrine festival)

で、

And,

In a rural tour held between Grand Sumo Tournaments, when a person who breakdowned at the sumo ring and a WOMAN entered the ring to help the person, the P.A. announcer spoke out "GET DOWN FROM THE RING IMMEDIATELY".

(If you could understand the above phrase, I would explain it. "Sumo-ring" is a sanctuary, so women cannot enter the ring, because all women are unclean creatures.)

In addition, after the woman got out of the ring, much salt was spattered.

(If you could understand the above phrase, I would explain it. The act of "sprinkling salt" is one of the rituals for paying shit (injury) in priests etc.)

-----

When I came home, my senior daughter was furious with this news.

However, I have already ended such a phase 10 years ago. Even when I heard this news, I did not feel anything.

For me, handling is the same for both "Japan Sumo Association" and "Japan High School Baseball Federation".

"They are stupid."

This is fine.

-----

Or, my vector of interest is in the opposite direction.

"What are they still expecting "sumo" that has been betraying us so much ?"

How to say, I cannot find any good example, however,

"A woman who continues to give money to a kept man"

I cannot wipe away the image.

-----

By the way, although it is not known unexpectedly,

It is famous that "Japan sumo wrestlers' victory and defeat table) is a practice problem of detection for mathematical statistics fraud detection.

(If you input the words "Sumo", "Mathematics", "Mathematics" or "Statistics" in google search engine, you will come out soon)

Even Japanese high school mathematics teaches "statistical hypothesis test" (I have memories I learned).

-----

If I can find the significance of existence of "sumo event", I think that the point is that

"Materials" that we can learn "Statistics as a practical university to discover familiar fraud"

"To promote the efficiency and diversification of neighborhood association(NA)" is not a really purpose, but, I am going to make IT environment for NA "to make me easier for the NA's tasks".

However, I cannot find the proper person to make the IT environment.

In addition, my term will expire after one year.

There's an urgent need to get the person as the successor to me.

-----

I don't say luxury thing, for example,

"I need the person, who can manager a could server which Ubunts 16.04 has been installed.

It is enough to understand the meaning of above phrase.

What I will give you, is a career that "you can manager the IT server whose numbers of user is about 1000"

Please feel free to contact me, if you are interested in the management.

However, for a resident in my town only.

In those days, I am thinking how to realize a mail and web server for the neighborhood association(NA).

Twenty years ago, "Making a server" needed considerable cost, money and human resources.

However, we can use an cloud server by several hundred yen per a month.

We can push a Internet provider on several messy groundworks like security measures

In my case, I use the cloud server to manage my homepage, and it is very helpful.

-----

To begin with, I will use a cloud server for the NA's IT services, however, now I come to think

"Can I use a "Raspberry PI" as the server?"

(This is an opposite approach against the cloud server).

I think that it is enough to manage the IT service to the NA.

The Raspberry PIs are working well for security systems of my home and wife's country house .

They have not gone them down, yet.

-----

Days of old, the servers makers were Sun, HP ad the prices were more than multi-million yen.

However, we can get a "Raspberry PI" by even 5000 yen from Amazon.com

So I feel that that the values of our engineer might go down relatively.(That might be true)

However, What we should do (server construction and management) is difficult and messy in their way.

-----

In fact,

"there are a pile of people who cannot use a PC and a smart-phone in the NA."

The annoying thing is that the following world is not coming,

"When their prices are going down, they come to have user friendly interfaces"

When I read others blogs and columns, I sometimes found the following sentences.

"Honestly speaking, I felt happy"

です。

-----

Now, freshpeople education programs are going in many companies, and I hope if you can consider the choice "invite me to" as a lecturer.

I will destroy your company's faith about "English".

At least, I am absolutely confident in the point that "I will lower the company average of your company's TOEIC score".

Twice a day, the English news from Japan, presented by NHK is broadcast on radio.

Previously, I downloaded this news to my computer, and put it in music POD, and heard it on the way of commuting.

Since I bought a smartphone, I have been able to hear it anytime and I am very much saved.

However, I listen seriously only to three headlines in one minute immediately after the start of the news.

In the latter 15 minutes, I can not maintain the motivation to keep listening to the news content.

-----

The headlines are good.

Because they are domestic and current news, I am interested in listening. Once in the news which I have already obtained in Japanese, I know the content in advance.

The problem is international news.

They are first news for me, and the news does not directly affect me, so I cannot concentrate to listen the news.

To tell you the truth, I think,

"To Syria, who knows? No matter who bombed the air?"

"I do not care who a stupid president in some country is, moving the embassy in the place called Jerusalem, which has been the center of my troubles for almost 2000 years"

In conclusion, we are not interested in English because the content used in that English is "hopelessly boring".

-----

"The picture of episode 7 of" Violet Ever Green "is too beautiful"

"About the last one minute of "A place far from the universe" episode 12, we cannot be seen without tears"

If there is the above news, no doubt that I will try to listen to English news with utmost effort.

-----

However, when it comes to news dealing with the whole genre called animation, I think that "I guess it is useless for me".

The title of anime I would like to have news is only 1 course, 1 title, at most 2 titles.

-----

English news that I am interested only myself -

I am afraid that I cannot meet news that are convenient for just me.

It started from last night,

"Steins;Gate 0" ----- Amazing

Surprisingly, more than I expected.

-----

Yesterday, I visited a company of the subcontractor, and I confirmed the last content on the delivered items with the person in charge.

Now I am making a mail server for the Internet at home.

You might think why Ebata is doing it nowadays.

First of all, "making a server at home" is equal to "the Ebata's home network comes to a target of cyber attack".

The best thing to do is "do-nothing", however, I have an inevitable private reason.

-----

When I was young, I tried to make a mail server. However I gave it up because of the pain,

Mail server is not like a Web server or FTP server, just launch it.

The mail server differs from other servers in that "mail conversation" must be done between mail servers.

And it is premise that mail server should "believes" another mail server, and should be "believed" by another mail server.

If my mail server connects with a mail server which do cyber attacks, serious situation will appear.

In fact, in the past, there was a case that Internet servers all over the world became malfunctioning due to the attack using a mail server (Although most people all over the world did not know the word "Internet").

(Continuation from yesterday)

Currently, my home mail server is still "unbelievable" in the other e-mail server.

Though trying variously while changing the setting, basically computers are stupid. If I set a different parameter, computers will only answer "I can not authenticate you". Of course, the computer will not explain the reasons.

For example, if there are nine items and three patterns for the setting, 19683 times trials are needed in order to be able to reach the correct answer.

If there are samples on the Internet, it is good. However, I cannot find the samples quite easily.

This is natural.

The thoughtless sample disclosure will give server attackers hints of huge attacks.

-----

I continue to be told from the other mail server "I cannot believe you"

To be honest, my heart is likely to break.

It is not only the human world that "being unbelievable" is "hard".

(Continuation from yesterday)

A public office which I relates as an engineer, is the patent office.

The patent office gives patent rights, which can make even a big company bankrupt (if you have a prominent capability and persistence).

Therefore, the management works extreme precise and exhaustive, like a sophisticated giant factory, and the mutual absolute relationship of trust between patent applicants and the patent office should be indispensable.

Nobody can tamper with a patent application, as an official document, except for the special administrative procedure "compensation" or "correction".

(*)I think that a patent application is equal to an official document, because it is going to be opened under the government control.

And the administrative procedure should be opened to all people in the world without reservation and restriction.

Even if the are examiners hearing examiners and office staff, their arbitrariness should be prohibited rigidly.

-----

If persons in authority and adulators interfere with the management of patent system,

I have really a spirit that

"I will kill Director-General of the Patent Office and the examiners in charge by a bomb with the office building , and also kill myself at the front of the rubble."

In my mind, "patent application" as a official document, is sacred, unviolated and absolute object.

Recently, there are certain reasons, I am completely stopping alcohol consumption now. I do not even mention 1 milliliter.

However, in April there are many drinking party and I am embarrassed to be honest.

At the drinking party 's seat,

Colleague: "Mr. Ebata, the doctor stooped it?"

Every time I responded

Ebata: "Ha-ha, do you think that even a doctor can stop me?"

To me, it is clearly visible, honestly, it's really "scary."

Because I will "observe" a lot about people at the next seats, who is changing to a different personality (or hidden personality) from the start time of the drinking party.

I have never experimented such a management before (or, nobody wants me to manage a college student). Anyway I don't know the program in detail.

As I recalled, once I designed the "Hokkyoku-Ramane tour", when the internship student from Europe asked me.

Of course, it might be difficult for them to complete one study perfectly, so in many case, we asked them to analysis data, and and present the result at the end of the period.

Once our research team had the internship student for lunch. I knew that His subject of research is related to ""neural network", so I asked him some questions.

Ebata:"How many layers, how many input and output neurons in your system ? Did you try to use deep leaning? What kind of the method are you trying ?"

However, he was mumble, and could not answer my questions clearly.

We cannot escape from our position, even what kinds of position. and also cannot escape from being victimizer of "power harassment" and "sexual harassment"."

Even if you speak to someone about sexual issue personally,, whatever your intention is, it will be 100% "sexual harassment"."

Whoever should have the awareness as least. So I think "

It can be concluded that"

I think that some drink-bars should have a non alcoholic beer server. I wonder if there is something, such a bar.

-----

I would like engineer to try to develop the following product by all means.

- Non alcoholic sake

- Non alcohol wine

Here, I use a search engine, I found the products like that.

I was deeply moved.

でも、

However,

- Non alcoholic whiskey

has not been, but I could find it.

I was almost to cry "Allah Akbar!"

I am reading the diary yesterday,

"Is Ebata's abstinence metanoia ?"

I will be in trouble if such a rumor flows.

From college to now, I have been proud of "high rate questioning from polic persons" ( compared to other's opinions)

A news of "Ebata's metanoia" might motive security police ( I am not somebody.)

Anyway I state positively "Ebata's abstinence is not for metanoia".

-----

To begin with, I don't feel that I should have any religion I can believe, before metanoia.

"Do not desire yourself, do not give it to others - except when necessary"

For now, I think that can do something.

When religion is needed, I am thinking to sign a provider with a major religion (for example, three major religions) at that time.

------

I believe in the existence of God. However, although it is "God who is not interested in human beings as much as 1 milimeter".

It is a useless God, not worthy of faith.

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

"Over the AI(21) ---- beyond a reach of our imagination of AI"

Miserable Artificial Intelligence - Neural network, shaking between respect and disrespect

-----

According to the actual figures of researchers I exposed in the column this time,"

some people might be about to cry

You may set your mind at ease.

I will bring the secrets to my grave properly.

"When I was walking in the city, I was scouted "

"My friend applied for a contest without my permission"

I do not have a means to know whether the remarks of the entertainment people including those called idols are true.

"When I was walking in the office, I was forced to work from the section chief (drinking party secretary) -"

"The director built me into the project of overseas collaborative research without my permission".

You also do not have a means to know whether the remarks of me are true.

However, the bottom two (the office version) is true.

-----

By the way,

"Every day when I posted a blog, I was scouted "Do you want to contribute your column ?"

It is also true.

The person who was working for web publishing service, called to me. (Now I heard that he is working for other company)

I think I was lucky, indeed.

And still, I am attached to this lucky.

I have never asked it before now, but it is coming, "Golden Week holidays".

My holder in my mind, whose title is "Golden Week holidays" includes a pile of things I have to do.

It turns out that

"if I am unlucky, I can not rest than weekday"

Why do people think ,

When they are on continuous holidays,

they think ,

- completing to read difficult books,

- Building a new experiment system,

- Maintaining troublesome home and parents' house,

such things will progress ?

And on the first day after the end of continuous holidays, they feel deeply

- Self-disgust with "lack of management skills of one's own"
