2012-04-24 Facebook

Facebook

The other day, I went to attend a lecture of Bayesian network that can give us solution for complicated problem, based on Bayesian estimation.

Inspired.

The method seems to be suitable for me, because it is possible to make some outputs except for poor data.

-----

As far as I am concerned, I have to use several types of data in order to write columns. But the counts of data I could collect are nothing serious.

However I have shown you population forecast, birthrate forecast and Unmarried rate forecast, these are calculated based on small data and my original hypothesis until "I can deceive me"

So, when I heard the sentence "According to the survey results from 1,700 people ....” I really think in rage

"I will fire the NHK Hall at Yoyogi"

- I think that both government offices and NHK have spent much money for collecting data.

- So I can understand that they don't open the data easily.

Do you really think that I could say the above?

"Those data is collected by money of our tax and TV fee isn't they"

"Why do you keep close them?"

I think it so. It is natural.

"What the lower class people do is to believe our analysis results."

"Don't put your nose into my business.”

I want to tell them

"Give me your data. No need your program."

って。

-----

Bayesian estimation provides me, like

No connection to be given data,

No money to buy data,

Mock of free technical writer,

Mock of poor data analysis,

With a specified numeric estimated results

"Let me calculate the system evaluation of "system not to generate children" based on Bayesian estimation"

I become back-to-basics for the first time in many years.

(Continuation from yesterday)

-----

he reason I cannot believe nationalism is that

If I

belong to a nation other than Japan, or

belong to a company other than the present company, or

belong to a department or unit other than the present department or unit, or

belong to a class other than the present class,

I think that I don't think my present nation, company and division is the most important things in my life.

That is the point.

I think that "the most important things" has no universality and objectivity, and changeable as the weather. So I am afraid that this sense of value is not incredible for me.

The book of "Odakyu diagram table in 2016" arrives a little time ago, I ordered yesterday.

I need the basic data and parameters for my train diagram simulator I told you yesterday.

At any rate, I think,

If the data of the diagram data has been opened on the Web site, it will help me very well absolutely.

On the other hand, I also think that it cannot be helped.

-----

Firstly, the train diagram is very valuable data, so some people can buy the data for a high price.

Secondly, few people wants to use the data for their own interest only. (It might be me only, I think)

Finally, if the data like the above, becomes opened, I am afraid that a lot of annoyed troubles will happen (some armatures claims the design of diagram, or abused by terrorist)

-----

I think that train diagram data is one of the typical "big data", so called.

The one of the reasons I always say "Big data, it must die" is

"there are a lot of idiots who want to talk about "big data business", even they don't know it is very hard to get the "big data". It is really a rare case.

Once I wrote about a person who gave me a big and non-potable Japanese-English dictionary as a "celebration gift".

At the time, I discard the dictionary.

In addition, I have reached a conclusion, that "the person has not had a habit of using English daily".

-----

Same affairs, like this, are often happened.

For example, about souvenirs of overseas trip.

- knocking ball pen, the woman's picture comes to be nude.

- Uneatable spicy (or stick) snacks

- Local and strange amulet

"I want to return this to you"

in many cases.

-----

Of course, we have reasons for these affairs.

(1)We have to buy some souvenirs when we travel overseas, especially getting foy.

(2)However, good souvenirs are expensive.

(3)On the other hand, bad souvenirs are low-quality and no impact, even if it is cheap.

(4)Then, we have to appeal ourselves with "a strange thing".

Thus, "celebration gift" or "souvenir" make us unhappy, and the market has been established.

-----

To tell you the truth, "cash" is useful and universal valuable for anyone.

But we cannot use "cash" by a compensations of "souvenir". If we use "cash" as "celebration gift", constant sum must be needed.

In that sense, "library tickets" or "gift certificates" can be said to be distorted "cash" to resolve this problem for both sides.

-----

In conclusion, I think

"No strange and offensive way is a royal road."

(Continuation from yesterday)

He might create an illusion of "great thinktank" on the edge of international company."

"Ha-ha-ha, You are kidding! " is easy to say. "

However, I think that this is basically an proto-type of "power harassment" and "sexual harassment"."

Many accidents of "power harassment" and "sexual harassment" is essentially generated by "

Both non-consciousness of (A)their positions, and (B)affects, derived from the positions."

So, basically, anyone who is a central player of "power harassment" and "sexual harassment", has any victimizer-minded"

Because they are juking and jiving and have no awareness of the above both (A) and (B). "

-----

So I often say that "

"Put your foolish illusions away, like "friendly boss" or "comfortable professor"" "

We cannot escape from our position, even what kinds of position. and also cannot escape from being victimizer of "power harassment" and "sexual harassment"."

Moreover, even if you are a minister or vice minister, whatever you say to anyone, you should be prepared to be blamed for "power hurdles""

Even if you speak to someone about sexual issue personally,, whatever your intention is, it will be 100% "sexual harassment"."

Whoever should have the awareness as least. So I think "

Is that guy an really idiot ?"

-----

It can be concluded that"

"Ebata should be blamed for the power harassment""

And, that's right."

10 consecutive holidays (10-days holiday) start ---

However, the fact that there are people who can rest for 10 consecutive holidays, also means that they have to work for them. It is natural not to say that "everyone can rest for 10 days".

I can understand that the reason why the government made this 10-day holiday is “social experiment using the whole of Japan”.

Of course, depending on the organization, someone can take 10 days off by adding reward leave etc. to GW, summer vacation, New Year holidays.

However, in this case, it is "10 consecutive holidays as a national holiday" and the meaning is the same.

-----

I considered the contents of "Social experiment using the whole of Japan".

First of all, as a matter of course, economic effects, cash flow (cash and bond flows), manufacturing processes, and labor that violates the law, will be monitored, as usual.

- Suicides on the first day after 10 consecutive holidays

- Number of retired workers after 10 consecutive holidays

- Number of divorces after 10 consecutive holidays

It is not hard to imagine the above.

Of course, I think that simulation to our own (activities after retirement, other than company and home) is also expected through long vacation.

-----

However, even after obtaining these results, nobody will say "In Japan, two-digit holidays do not work well, so we will stop it in the future".

The government should make people work for another things (care, child care, reproduction, even marriage (?), other consumption behavior. not wasting the resources (people and time) for the current organization (company or office) in vain.

Working style reform is the reset and rebuilding of social resource distribution.

There is no intention to release the people from labor. It is an attempt to allocate our resources to other tasks and to make the best use of them.

The 10 consecutive holidays are important experiments for both the government and us.

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

Dancing Buzzword-Behind the Buzzword (1) Quantum Computer (1)

You don't have to understand the ghost story, "quantum computer" anymore

-----

This is a new series.

Publicly, I think this column will be "a description of the technology that has become a buzzword."

However, unlike the previous "artificial intelligence", this "quantum computer" is honestly quite a burden for me.

In the "Artificial Intelligence" series, I coded all the AI technology algorithms in the series and tried the functions, even if it is poor.

So, even if my column was criticized, I could immediately publish the code, intercept it, and counterattack it.

(What am I fighting for)

However, at the moment, the "quantum computer" is not installed in my room at home.

I have to wait until the "raspey size" quantum computer at the "raspey price" is sold. However, it's a subtlety that I could watch it during my life.

Anyway, there is always anxiety about the explanation of things that I can not try with tangible things.

-----

So, I'm looking for someone who can supervise the contents of my "Quantum Computer" column.

It's hard to spell out what I want, but I will welcome anyone like

"Dr.Shibata of the over run", who has given me vast and useful advice and contents from the medical technology field.

"Rude junior" who is in charge of all criticisms of Ebata column, including literary perspective

who can accept Ebata's contents well, cannot ignore the details, and can give advice with "specific example".

Not to mention the theoretical aspects of quantum computers, it would be greatly appreciated if students and teachers who make and touch actual hardware (tangible objects) such as quantum circuits.

We would appreciate it if you could contact me.

(Continuation from yesterday)

By the way, I have a morbid aversion to "crowding" now, but when I was young, I drank, made noise, and crowded as much as anyone else.

Especially when I was a teenager, being isolated from the "crowd" had the same impact as a "death sentence".

So, what we call "bullying" generally manifests itself in the form of "isolation from the crowd".

"Live of Real Time Executions" - there are not many shows that are as entertaining and cruel as this one.

Bullying does not create a voluntary deterrent because the perpetrator can be instantly turned into the victim.

Well, let's not talk about that today.

-----

My current 'escape from the crowd(*)' is quite thorough.

(*) Of course, this is a parody of Erich Fromm's "Escape from Freedom".

I can't remember exactly how I came to be in this state.

In terms of time, I think it was "around the time I started writing the column" -- I'll think it over again.

-----

Anyway, I think it is quite difficult to tell young people not to crowd together or not to drink.

This is because within the "fun" of these actions lies a latent fear of "isolation from the crowd = ostracisim".

I suspect that the fear of the "ostracisim" is far greater and more concrete than the fear of a new corona infection.

Before the advent of the PC, computers were mainframes.

It is what is called a cluster of giant calculators that sit on a vast floor.

Although the installation is similar to today's data centers, the content is completely different.

It is similar in appearance to a supercomputer, but differs in that a supercomputer is not a general-purpose computer (equipped with a general-purpose OS and general-purpose language).

-----

Japan was once the world's leading mainframe powerhouse.

This was largely due to the work of the then Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) (now the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry).

At the time, the world wanted IBM mainframes.

The same was true of Japanese industry and universities.

However, MITI thoroughly "interfered" with this.

'It must have the same performance. Then buy a Japanese mainframe.

Well, in this way, the Japanese mainframe industry continued to be protected, and the market has grown to the point where it rivals that of IBM.

-----

Now, it seems that our country has recently embarked on a policy of protecting "homegrown quantum computers".

I am watching this move with great interest.

I used to do a series of articles on quantum computers for about six months.

My view at the time was,

"Quantum computers are still in the research phase"

A year and a half has passed since the last issue of the series. Have there been any new technological developments that have entered the practical stage?

-----

According to news reports,

"The government is planning to establish four new research and human resource development centers, including at Tohoku University, and has set a goal of 10 million users of quantum technology by 2030."

They are very specific.

Of course, I have no reason to oppose a policy of protection for "homegrown quantum computers," whether in the research or practical stage.

-----

My concern is not with the researchers, but with the government.

A "homegrown quantum computer" would require a huge, long-term budget, on the order of 20 to 50 years.

I am concerned about whether they can continue to budget patiently enough to withstand this.

The most likely scenario is that,

"If the U.S. and China back out (or give up) on the development of quantum computers, the government will immediately terminate the budget."

In the past, they have had a proven track record.

Like the drama "The Housekeeper Watches",

I saw it, ma'am -- the government threw away the Sigma project, the Expert System, and more recently, the domestic semiconductor project, and ran away.

-----

If the above project had continued, the Internet and the current AI could have originated in Japan..... No, that's not possible.

But, honestly, I think that Japanese researchers are not 'crazy' enough.

As such, I think I also have a short duration of enthusiasm for unknown research -- just like the Japanese government.

My wife is back home -- I feel like the air in the house has started to flow.

When I talk to my wife about these things, she complains, 'Am I a housekeeper?

It is still nice to have someone to talk to in the house.

If my wife passes away first and I am "isolated", I will be living in a house with the air stopped for a long time -- which is pretty scary.

Still, I think I am more tolerant of "isolation" than my wife.

In order to fulfill my wife's request, "I will live longer than my wife," I am now living my life "without" alcohol, cigarettes, women, gambling, and everything else.

Ebata: "Sometimes we hear on the news that people 'wanted money to play with, so they robbed people,' but I don't understand the reason."

Wife: "Really?"

Ebata: "Why don't they just not play?"

Wife: "Well, what should they do?"

Ebata: "Study"

When I said this, my wife burst out laughing.

----

Ebata: "There are so many things to do, like coding, writing columns, coming up with ideas for patents, etc."

Wife: "Well, why don't you go to the robbers and ask them, 'Why didn't you "code" instead of "play"?'
