In my home, we have started a boom the TV program "Missing" in BS Disney channel.

The story is that a mother, whose son was kidnapped, is at war or cooperates with intelligence organization of several countries and tries to save the son.

The mother, who has worked at PTA for her son, had a go-getter CIA agent in her youth, and she never hesitates to kill opponent agents.

The gap is very attractive and and tremendous impact for my family member.

-----

At the time we chatted with watching TV.

"Do you have a similar old story like that for two you?"

"In fact, mom was an industrial espionage and had her sights on company properties."

"An old story, it is"

"I checked mom with my chasing system with camera and GPS monitoring, and finally mom was captured by me"

"And?"

"I proposed mom to stop the jobs and get married to me. If mom accepted this offer, I give up telling the police about this crime".

"Oh, it is a dramatic story."

"Recently I think you do part-time work continually, surely you don't restart your old work again"

"It is secret."

I used to contribute the column whose title is "Presentation is love-letter".

I think that any presentation is a method to deliver a intention to others, so I made the above title.

But we have to make someone understand contents of the presentation before that.

However, it is very difficult for anyone.

-----

I am in charge of the head office of a project, and I sometimes have chances to watch some presentations of each working group.

Those presentations are usually checked strictly by the executive officers again and again before the key stage.

One of the typical advice from the executive officers, is

"Try to present it easier as if you were in front of your family"

I think that this is a very convictive advice.

In fact, after finishing writing my column, I have always asked the second daughter to check the draft.(To tell you the truth, she can find my error in calculation easier than me.)

But, it seems to be difficult to use the above phrase recently.

-----

"Try to present it easier as if you were in front of your family."

"I am a single."

"In front of your lover"

"I am not in love."

"Your friend"

"No friend."

-----

Joking aside, any comments might be a power and sexual harassments at the present day.

The other day, my family discussed "woman or man after our mind".

I talked my impression of the story "all men like chesty women" get magnified to my family.

I also said that "I know many men who like a woman who wears her short hair, slim and the initial acceleration is larger (fast mover)"

-----

When I told this story to my coworkers, he frowned in displeasure.

He looked annoyed with saying "What a bummer, my type is same as you!" in front of my eyes.

-----

When I asked my family except for me(all women) about their types, I was very surprised to hear their comments.

"I never accept a man of short"

They said that with one voice.

(Continuation from yesterday)

They might to want to think "Try it, as soon as possible"

Nobody can stop their curiosity. I also can understand a feeling "try new function soon"

However,

I hear that these early adapters have a motivation to boast "a new product" to other people.

I don't understand it.

At any cost, I come to think

"It is not you but a maker company that developed the product"

If not, they might want to boast themselves who have got a new product. If so, I don't understand them either.

-----

When you read the above lines, you will say "I don't understand what Ebata wants to insist.

"Brand back, luxury foreign car, big manor house - they all are working with the same motivation?"

Perhaps you might think that "Ebata is so foolish that he cannot understand like this"

Honestly, I can understand it, however,

If I can understand it in my brain, I cannot accept it in my mind.

(Continuation from yesterday)

In the book whose title "1984" written by Geoge Orwell, the protagonist is working for amendment of the public documents, as a specialist about interpolation of public documents, in the government organization of one-party dictatorship.

Documents inconsistent with the party's official remarks are modified / tampered with by this organization. As a result, this action realizes "the party does not commit mistakes" (Of course, this department is kept secret from the public).

In short, "falsification of public sentence" is provided in pair with "dictatorship power".

It goes without saying that it stands at the opposite of the concept of "democracy".

------

Now,

"Anyone who ordered falsification of the public sentence, or executed it with depending on the power, does "harakiri" in front of their office building."

I am desperately holding down my emotion, and do not say the above sentence.

It is because the exact facts are not completely clear.

Emotional behavior based on "guesses", is not good for society, and moreover the action will get my values down.

I must strictly refrain from such things.

However, repeatly, I also think

"After getting information, I can start a self-paced attacking"

The other day I mentioned a little about Q-Learnings reinforcement learning program.

I am running the program for 24 hours, after finding a way to reduce the 160 billion "states" to 84 million states and furthermore, reducing it to 65535 for testing now,

-----

When I examined the state of the object under learning in the simulation, it was only

482

でした。

In other words,

it had reached only 0.735%.

-----

This was a great shock to me.

Currently, my object in the program is able to complete one trial in less than 2 seconds, so 40,000 trials have been completed.

As the object had about 12,000 state mutations in one trial, it should have repeated over 500 million state changes so far.

My object should have been trying out a number of states more than the small number "65535".

If you know Q learning, you might think, "It will be the result of learning convergence," however, In this case, I set the random number selectivity to 90%, so the "convergence" was not a reason.

----

By the way,

"There are 100 ways to live freely ... (*)"

(*) "Feel the wind" / Shogo Hamada

I was a junior high school student when the song was being played in a cup noodle commercial.

Even then, I said

"Don't say stupid!"

"Try to write just ten ways down!"

as a trickster, in a slightly different direction against others.

-----

In this reinforcement learning program with Q-Learning, what I found again is

(1)Hamada Shogo-san talks about the state space of life ("65535" street said here)

however,

He completely ignores the notion of positional constraints or temporal constraints in state transitions

This time, my object I created was allowed 500 million free actions without restrictions.

However, it did not reach the state of only 500.

----

From this viewpoint, Hamada Shogo-san should have sung

"There is no way to live freely ..."

and, it was the absolute correct message for teenagers.

As a matter of fact, I think the results of this program are in line with the real-world situation.

As a target for new coronavirus infection, I try not to go out.

Even so, the word "self-restraint request" used by top people in the media and government is being abused.

"Self-restraint request" is not much different from the slogan "improvement of quality" of the poster, put on the production line of the factory.

In other words, we can't expect an effect.

-----

No. in fact, I know that well.

I read all the articles of the law concerning the declaration of emergency before,

"This law does not prohibit the movement of people or economic activities (*)"

(*)However, this is not the case when it is certified as a legally infectious disease, after a certain procedure.

I know that.

Of course, because there is no law, there are no criminal penalties(There are many laws without penalties).

Therefore, the limit of the message that can be spoken becomes "request self-restraint".

-----

Since I can't come to work at the moment, I am walking around the town alone to loose lack of exercise. but I look at some interesting things.

"Butchers and greengrocers that are normally open without closing stores except Saturdays and Sundays"

Well, even if it's normal,

Izakaya bar just changed business hours from "until 24:00" to "until 22:00"

The most hit restaurant I've seen is

The ramen shop usually opened at 11:30 am is used to open 9:00 am and starts "morning ramen"(The closing time was advanced by 2 hours)

These self-restraints are "self-restraint for self-restraint", and the purpose of "virus infection prevention" cannot be seen.

Recently, I've been recording a lot of re-runs of NHK Special (N-Spec) on BS.

However, I watch the reruns every 10-15 minutes during my lunch, so the recordings keep piling up.

"Looks like contaminated water with tritium"

My conscience scolded me for even thinking about it for a moment, saying, "Don't be silly!" (It's true).

-----

Today, I finished watching "The Complete Record of the Road to Decommissioning, Nuclear Fuel Debris, and the Decision Under Pressure," which was broadcast in 2016.

Can I be clear at this point?

"Fukushima 50"

I thought it was much more "awesome" than "Fukushima 50.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and respect for the engineers who continue to fight at the front of the accident site and for their technical capabilities.

N-Spe is really great. I pay NHK's subscription fee for "N-Spe" -- it would help my family budget if the subscription fee was a little lower.

-----

Ebata: "Well, you know, most people can't think of this program as 'great' or 'moving'.

Wife: "Yes, you're right. I don't know if I want to 'spontaneously watch' this show.

It's not unreasonable.

It is inevitable that engineers who have worked in the field and have both the "numbers" and the "digits" to understand the threat of radiation are a small percentage of the Japanese population.

-----

I was shocked when I heard that the debris extraction passage was measured to be "10 Sievert".

I'd like to see TV stations and TV programs use the same unit of measurement -- "millisievert" here, and say "10,000 millisieverts".

The following is an excerpt from Kaoru Takamura's "God's Fire (Volume 2)," which I have quoted many times in the past.

------

"Listen, Sousuke. The kind of radiation that can kill a person is more than 3000 to 4000 millisieverts.

The only way to be exposed to such a huge amount of radiation all at once is to have an accident like Chernobyl, where the core melted and was exposed, or a nuclear bomb.

So I want you to think of it this way.

The permissible radiation dose line for a person to live a healthy life is 5 millisieverts per year.

One x-ray of the stomach is about 4 millisieverts. The radiation emitted from a nuclear power plant is less than 0.05 millisieverts per year.

It is definitely more than that. It may affect some people's health. That's what I mean when I say dangerous.

-----

A direct hit from a nuclear bomb is 11,000 millisieverts, which means that the "debris extraction" pathway mentioned in the program continues to spread radiation that can kill humans instantly.

(It may be a little better now, though).

-----

Anyway, regarding the government's decision to release contaminated water containing tritium, a radioactive substance that has been increasing at TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, into the ocean,

Whatever the merits of that decision, as far as this case is concerned.

"I am one of the Japanese who is not even a millimeter upset about the release of contaminated water"

I will assure you about this.

-----

Incidentally, when the reactor containment vessel exploded (or more accurately, when I heard the radiation readings in front of the power plant),

I was a person who had packed my car with all the drinking water and food, and was ready to run away.

A program I am currently working on is stuck with a serious (and troublesome) bug as it nears completion.

And, well, I'm sure you know this, as I have written about it extensively.

One thing is for sure,

"I never would have embarked on it if I didn't have telecommuting"

As such, I can be sure.

It is a blessing of the Corona disaster that I was allowed the luxury of 'wrestling with the cord for more than 10 hours in a row, until the wee hours of the morning'.

-----

I currently refer to this program by the directory name "1-9-4".

I am thinking of renaming the development code of this program "Corona" when it is finally completed (after confirming that it works).

I am convinced that this is the best code name to convey to future generations of "me" this period of mixed feelings of hatred and beneficence.

I have continued to observe Japan (in the second half of its high economic growth period) and its subsequent decline.

In particular, the sharp rise in prices around the oil crisis (1973) made me realize, even as a child, that something terrible was happening.

Still, it does not go beyond the level of 'somehow I had a sense of it that way.

-----

I am now 'really feeling' the high prices.

- Toast bread is small.

- The price of spinach is wildly fluctuating.

- Onions and leeks are often unavailable

- Lately, I have been eating only "white meat" instead of "chicken thighs".

-----

Therefore I would like to advocate a new diet.

"Inflation diet"

I am proud to say that this is probably the first "diet" in the world that is linked to the global economy.
