(Continuation from yesterday)

The first daughter goes to an integrated middle and high school; she seems to decide her course earlier.

I am very sorry that she has to annoy the above at her age.

But she is better than to be the period that she have to decide her marriage, and pregnant.

Aristotle said "it is hopeful for women to be a pregnant at seventeen".

Though I thought that "this is a story of the ancient Greece period",

と思っていた私ですが、ここ2月ばかり、ART(assisted reproductive technologies:生殖保護医療)の妊娠成功率のデータを睨み続けてきて、

I had changed my mind to "Aristotle, you were a keen insight".

Because I have checked a lot of data of ART (assisted reproductive technologies).

I wrote about a make sent me a email about their product during the first three days of the New Year,

But I came to think of it again, the reason was "the unclear manual".

There was no explanation and figure of the whole product, relationships between another tools, and setting for another tool.

In fact, almost of the manuals for engineers are unclear.

-----

There are a lot of people who become to get angry with the product which does not work, without reading the manual.

Especially, about the household electrical appliance such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and refrigerators, they are apt to do it.

Even if a maker blame them with saying "You are wrong because you don't read the manual”, the make is going to the end.

Indeed, human being hates machines, and moreover they hate reading manual for their history.

In spite of it, PC and Smartphone have spread generally. I think that this is a great achievement of the human history, called, "the miracle".

This is a win of the industrial engineers who have continued studying about refined GUIs that can provide services independently.

"I have to spend this "three-day weekend" for writing a column"

I gave up having free time for the three days, however, I could finish the draft version until noon of the second day.

It was very unusual for me.

To tell you the truth,

"I could not warp up the main issue because of much volume of the contents, I had to postpone it to the next month.

How I should use the important final day ?

I felt excited like the first date (with a girl) in my life.(But I don't remember what was the first date.)

- Do I go skiing alone after a long time ? But I come to feel tiresome against "cool".

- Do I go the movie "Kizu-monogatari" ? But I will get mad with the movie, even if the movie is bored. And my daughter is watching the movie now, I may wait for her review of the movie.

- I have to draw an illustration of the column. But I cannot find a picture of my imagination.

My writings are made in the train as much as saying "My study is in the train."

Of course, I have to use a note-PC, so if I cannot get the seat, I can do nothing.

So, I will choose a local train that I can sit down easily, not a crowded express train.

I feel that the time when writing is overwhelmingly felt for a short time (and sometimes I get over the destination).

-----

However, recently, I have felt bad for this writing work in a train.

Especially, the virus checker in my PC that keeps updating automatically every day, seems to deprive my note-PC performance, and it is annoying very much.

Recently note-PCs are getting cheaper, so there is no problem to purchase the latest machine, however, not only for circumstances of my households, but also "I can not throw away good things to work".

Even clothes and shoes become completely usable -- underwear or socks that have holes, shoes that water will enter on the rainy day until I can not tolerate that discomfort -- I continue to use them.

My wife seems to give up so much about me.

"Once I have met a thing, it is "true love" to accomplish the end"

"I will never throw away my beloved wife, even if she becomes bedridden"

My wife says "extreme polemics", against my opinions.

Well, I think that she is right. "Who says "love" like you who are a typical misanthrope and can break the relationship with the organization".

(Continuation from yesterday)

Recently the topics of euthanasia and death with dignity is warming up.

However these topics should be linked with "crime of murder" juristically.

In general, helping suicide is a commission whose name is "aiding and abetting suicide", and There is no conflict of law interpretation about this law.

Although the interpretation is broken whether suicide becomes "murderous crime" or not, it is in agreement that suicide is "innocent" or "indecent".

Therefore,

"Handgun that can be used only for suicide in avoidance of pain"

will be hopefully developed and managed legally.

-----

I think that Japan's firearms sword law (the law on the possession of firearms swords etc.) is one of the laws proud of the world.

If we are allowed to use of a handgun daily, I am afraid hat murders and suicide will be realized easily in Japan.

However, the device and social system that realize "Turn your little finger 90 degrees counterclockwise, get killed." in order to avoid the unbearable pain,

"that gives us a huge sense of security against frightened by intense pain"

I also think that.

In this story, it may be better to speak in different ranges of "dimension of death" or "euthanasia".

It may become one that cited "emergency evasion" of civil law, and it may be like "death to avoid pain" if I name it.

-----

When I made this story a family member, I gained agreement for unanimity.

(The Ebata is operated by a family head (it's me) who does not avoid such topics).

From now on, I would like to start research and development of such devices (not limited to handgun) in the weekend engineer's mode.

The other day, I got consultation from my second daughter after I came home.

Second daughter(SD): "Dad, I'd like to brainstorm with my school's tasks"

Ebata: "Hmm, how about the theme?"

SD: "Techniques and ethics of genetic manipulation"

Ebata: "Well, Don't you know how often I wrote the column with that story?"

SD: "I know"

Ebata: "Well, first, read the column. Even if you are not a love reader, as a member of your family, read with obligation"

SD: "The dad's column can not be read very much unless I put in a spirit of" Read!" before reading."

-----

It is a previous story.

Junior: "Ebata-san's works, not only a column but a blog (a diary), are too hard to read.

Ebata: "So? I do not mean that."

Junior: "The themes are heavy, and their criticisms are bitter, The expressions are too radical. I even feel like being preached in a reasonable way. It is not a blog that "everyone can read with fun" is it?"

Ebata: "... Then, what kind of blog should I write?"

Junior: "Well, you upload the picture of the lunch in the day, and you just added a comment that" the meat is juicy and very delicious! The atmosphere of the shop is also the best!" This is the right blog's presence "

Ebata: "That's ... It's too difficult for me"

Junior: "Well, it is an unknown area for Ebata-san"

For my work, there are many stories like above for some reason.

(To be continued)

In fact, some proofs of mathematics have been made using computers.

It's a "four-color problem."

This was a rare case where the pattern could be limited to a finite number, which made this proof possible.

Although the algorithm has been improved since then, there is no proof that no computer is used.

Mathematical proof problems with a finite number of solution spaces are fairly rare cases.

So I wonder if the problem of the "polynomial time reduction" system that the hero of this animation is working on can be treated as a finite pattern problem.

(If so, I wonder if his work is not so difficult)

-----

Well, I don't want to talk about this seriously, however, I think just that

"I am looking forward to seeing various math concepts when watching this anime"

Anyway, I didn't know the term "null hypothesis", but "polynomial time reduction" or "Hamilton pass", so I looked up it immediately.

そして、

So, I noticed that

"Oh, it is significance test isn't it?"

The current Prime Minister has asserted in the Diet defense that "There is no way to prove that there is no such fact."

His claim is correct.

This is called "devil's proof."

This "devil's proof" is a really proof of the devil, because it cannot be proved by any means.

However, it seems to be "significance test" and "null hypothesis", by statistical methods and bringing it to a level of "generally proven"

This anime also explains the contents clearly, and at least for me, it is very helpful at the first time

-----

Anime can be a good motivation to study, if we can use it well.

I am currently working on a series of articles on the topic of Bitcoin (Blockchain, to be precise).

In the first article of this series, I declared that I would 'experience the purchase and use of Bitcoin'.

In order to fulfill this commitment, I went through the process of creating an account with bitFlyer, a virtual currency exchange, late last Friday.

(This process will be described in a later series of articles).

On Sunday night, I received an email pointing out a mistake in my address, and I was in the process of resubmitting it, but I haven't heard from them at all since then.

"As an anti-Bitcoin group, have I been purged?"

I'm guessing evil.

Well, I don't think so.

-----

That's why I, this weekend, kept monitoring the exchange rate of Bitcoin to legal tender.

It seems to be a big deal right now.

If you want to put this into words...

As if it were someone else's problem.

I just finished the whole funeral event and came home to realize it.

Now, my parents are displayed as a couple of posthumous portraits in my parents' home.

During the Corona disaster, I asked for a minimum number of people to be held, but I had to accept the request to 'see the faces of my mother at the end'.

Well, thanks to that, I was able to learn a lot about my mother's birth story, as well as my childhood personality -- or rather, my "strategy.

-----

My mother was very strict with me and did not buy me what I wanted (toys, etc.).

And I heard that I was giving a presentation to my mother, 'rolling around on the floor and crying to get my demands through.

It was a final strategy against my mother.

On the other hand, I heard I was a quiet child who would not implement such a strategy on anyone.

I don't remember any of this story, but I must admit that it is an objective fact, since three people testified about it, while waiting at the crematorium.

-----

But -- one way to solve the problem is that a method of

"Arbitrarily exacerbate or inflame the problem to make it go away"

In other words, the solution I am using now has been cultivated by having a "virtual enemy", my mother.

I'm sure there are more than a few people who have been affected by this solution of mine.

"It's not my fault, but my mother's fault"

Today, I was convinced of it.

When I lived in the university's self-governing dormitory, I had received several invitations from seniors to be volunteer personnel, but I never went because I had to return home.

I still remember the jet-black darkness of the city with its power completely cut off and the pain of the night that chilled me to the bone.

In recent research on wellbeing, it seems to be common knowledge that "altruistic acts" such as volunteering are "self-interested acts" that increase one's well-being.

"Isn't volunteering hypocritical? "

You don't have to worry about such things.

On the contrary, it is O.K. to say, 'Volunteering is my pastime'

Even such volunteer work can be a sufficient win-win.

Let's lighten our awareness to the level of "participating in volunteer activities = visiting Disneyland.

Therefore, you can start whenever you want and stop whenever you want.

"Even if you come to Disneyland, you don't have to stay until the park closes."

If someone says to you something, I will defend you.

The low cost of living in Japan (from an international perspective) -- has had a sobering impact on me.

This would be a good thing for attracting international tourists due to in-band demand.

However, as you know, Japan, a major energy importer, has been hit hard.

I have told you several times that about 30 years ago, I was wandering alone in Asia.

Despite the problems of undeveloped infrastructure, unclean environment, and language barriers, Asia was my spiritual home.

In particular, China (the mainland) was "my heart and soul".

"If I get sick of everything, I'll run away to mainland China and live off my sister's monthly remittance of 5,000 yen."

At that time, China was such a "cheap country" that one could afford to stay, eat, and drink for a month or so with as little as \5,000.

-----

Now, "my heart and soul" is breaking down at a terrific rate.

Japan has gone from being the second-largest economy to possibly falling out of the ranks in my lifetime.

The fact that my "unearned income strategy using the exchange rate difference" has completely fallen apart, and there is no longer any way out is now hurting me.

-----

I want to write about the past and present of this "unearned income strategy using the difference in exchange rates" in the "Engineers Unloved by Money" series -- but I don't have time for that right now.
