(Continuation from yesterday)
これは、とある民間の企業の某社員の話です。
This is a story of a certain employee of a certain private company.
彼は、若いころからずっと『英語ができない』と主張し続けてきました。
He has been saying that he can not speak English since he was young.
それでも、たった一人で海外に飛ばされて、標準化団体のメンバを招集して、ミーティングを企画し、そして、そのホストをやってくるように命じらました。
He was ordered to go abroad alone, to convoke members of standards bodies, to plan a meeting and to make him the host of the meeting.
どう考えたって(パワハラとまでは言えないまでも)、かなり滅茶苦茶な命令です。
Whatever I thought, it was a pretty messy instruction(even if it was not a power harassment).
しかし、業務命令なら従うしかない ―― 彼はそんな風に思っていました。
However, he had no choice but to obey the business order - he thought like that.
それが兵士・・・ではなく、サラリーマンだと思っていたからです。
He thought that was a salaried worker ... not a soldier.

という訳で、私は、現総理大臣閣下に、提案させて頂きたいと思います。
So, I would like to propose to the current Mr. Prime Minister, my lord.
現在、閣下の肝入りの政策に「働き方改革」がありますね。
Currently, there is a "working reform" in policies of my lord.
そして「外国人労働者の受け入れ」もありますね。
And there is also "acceptance of foreign workers".
私は、この両者の課題を一気に解決し、
Resolving the both problems,
国民から歓迎され、
Welcomed from the people,
内閣支持率を維持し、
Maintaining the approval rating of the Cabinet,
長期政権を担保し、
Securing long-term administration,
上手く行けば憲法改正まで持っていけるかもしれない ――
If it goes well, it may be possible to take the constitutional amendment,
現内閣の「骨太」の新コンセプトを提供したいと思います。
I would like to provide a new concept of "skeleton" of the current cabinet for my lord.
