昨夜帰宅したら、次女が録画されていた「ちはやふる」(再放送)を見ていました。
Last night, when I came back home, the second daughter watched "Chihayafuru", in the HDD recorder.
「ちはやふる」は、競技カルタを題材とした、ティーンエイジャの話を描いたコミックで、アニメ化もされ(もう何度も語ってきたので、以下省略)。

主人公の、綾瀬千早が率いる、5人の競技カルタ部には、部員の戦歴を膨大なノートに記録するキャラクターとして、
In the KARUTA club whose leader is "Chihaya Hayase" as a high school girl, there is a boy who keep recording tremendous data of the member's game process, whose name is
「机くん」
"Tsukue-kun" ( that means "Mr.desk")
という男子生徒が部員にいます。
彼は、自分のチームの選手の戦いかたは勿論、対戦チームまで傾向分析を行い、部員を勝利に導く、「高校生データアナリスト」として活躍します。
H tries to analyse not only his club member's fighting styles but also adversary game trends, and finally works for an data analyst to make his team win.

江端：「この番組の主人公は、『ちはや』でもなく、ましてや『たいち』でも『あらた』でもなく、『机くん』だろう」
Ebata; "It is absolutely "Tsukue-kun" who is a leading character of this animation, neither "Chihaya" nor "Taichi","Arata".
次女：「いやいやいや、それはないよ」
Second daughter(SD):"No, no, no, absolutely not".
江端：「何を言っているんだ。『ちはや』が本気でクイーンを目指すのであれば、『たいち』でも『あらた』なんぞより、一番必要なのは、データアナリストとしての『机くん』だろう」
Ebata:"What are you talking? If "Chihaya" try to aim to the Queen of KARUTA tournament, what she really need is not "Taichi" "Arata" but "Tsukue-kun" isn't it?"
次女：「いや、感情や気分だけで行動する女子高校生、そして、それを取り巻く、イケメンな男性群がいてこそ、話が盛り上がる訳で・・・」
SD:"No, a high school girl who executes actions with temporary emotions and feeling each day, and some nice guys are around the girl are needed in the juvenile story."
江端：「色恋沙汰ごときで、KPI(Key Perfomance Indicator)が達成できるか。事を成就したいのであれば、注力すべきは『ロジック』と『数値』だ」
Ebata:"It is not enough to accomplish her KPI(Key Performance Indicator) by love affair. If she want to do it, she should concentrate "logic" and "statistics"
次女：「・・・」
SD:"..."
江端：「『机くん』かぁ・・・うちのチームに欲しい。『ちはや』や『たいち』はいらんけど」
Ebata:"I need Tsukue-Kun really in my team, though, "Chihaya" and "Taichi" are not needed.
