2016-03-13 「江端さんは、我が社でもっとも有名な一人だ」 [長年日記]

先日、シンガポール(だったと思う)の関連会社に出向中の同僚が、私の席の近くにきたので、いろいろと話をしていきました。

The other day, a colleague in seconded to affiliated companies of Singapore (I think it was), came close to my seat, I chatted with him.

そこに、彼の部下と思われる、現地の社員がやってきたので、握手をして簡単な自己紹介をしました。

A man was coming , who seemed to be his subordinates, the local employees, and we were shaking hands, and did simple self-introduction to your each other.

その同僚は、私を次のように紹介しました。

The colleague also introduced me as follows.

「江端さんは、我が社でもっとも有名な一人だ」

"Mr Ebata is the most famous one person in my company"

と。

多分 ―― 褒め言葉ではない。

Maybe, I don't think that it is compliment.
