In my diary of the other day, I wrote the following story.

そして、自宅では、絶対に嫁さんが料理してくれることのない料理達が、安価で食せるところがイイのです。
Secondly, the foods are good.
どてやき、とんたん(豚舌)、ガッツ(胃)、レバー、ホルモン(内臓)
Organ stew, pig tongue, gut, lever, and organ meat

というお話をしました。
昨夜、「なんで、それらの食材を食べることができないか」という質問を嫁さんにしてみました。
Last night, I asked my wife why she could not eat the above foodstuffs and hates them.
嫁：「これといった理由は思いつかないんだけどなー。とにかく、なんとなく嫌」
"I don't know the reason explicitly. Unconsciously I have believed so."
私：「その気持ちは分かるが、なんとか言語化してみよう。ガンバレ!」
"I can understand the feeling well, but let's try verbalization. Go for it! "
嫁：「そうだなぁ・・・。『内蔵』などが、視覚イメージできてしまうとダメかなぁ」
"Let me see... If I could visualize organs of animal, I never eat the foodstuffs"
私：「しかし、鳥、豚、牛の肉の解体作業なんぞ、バラエティ番組でも普通に放送しているぞ」
"But I think that the images like them are always broadcasting in variety shows.
嫁さん：「うーん、それは『日常』の映像として、形而上化してしまっているんだよ」
"They have already been metaphysical concepts as usual images.
―― と、言うか、
"Let me try another way,"
She continued.
と嫁さんは続けていいました。
嫁：「私は、食肉をスーパーマーケットのパックとして認識している訳だよ。そこに『在る』肉は、すでに、鳥、豚、牛という生物の一部という概念では把握していないの」
"I recognize the meats as packs of food in supermarket. I don't think that chicken, pork and beef meats are parts of creatures.
私：「なるほど。その食肉は、その発生時において、すでに「パック」として存在し続けていた、と」
"I see. They have been the meats as the packs from the beginning of story of creation."
嫁：「でもね、これを、『舌』『胃』『肝臓』『内蔵』と特定されると、いきなり具象化するでしょう？」
"On the other hand, as far as we call them "tongue", "gut", "lever", and "organ", we can image the parts concretely.
私：「つまり、結論として、鶏肉、豚肉、牛肉は、『概念』であって、生物の部位ではない、と」
"In short, chicken, pork and beef are just concepts. They are not part of creature body.
嫁：「そう」
"No"
私：「では、鶏肉の『もも肉』と『ささみ』の違いは？」
"So what is difference between "dark meat" and "white meat"?”
嫁：「味と形と値段の異なる『違う種類の鶏肉』という『概念』があるだけ」
"Both of them are also just concepts. There are differences of taste, form, and price."

とても分かりやすい話でした。
It was a good story to understand easily.
やっぱり夫婦の会話は大切ですよね。
Actually, conversation of couple is important, isn't it?
