Today, a considerable earthquake happened in Japan.

I feel really fear of "long term earthquake" since the the Great East Japan Earthquake.

My office also shook considerably for a long time today.

I pressed down the ground and was going to stop the earthquake.

I pushed my desk of the office with both hands as hard as possible exactly.

Well, thanks to my efforts, this earthquake seemed to be suppressed relatively small.

It is really good.

Recently I have chances of interviews for some women who work for development or sale of mathematical software or health care in hospital.

According to their talks, I noticed that I have misunderstood that what dieter were expecting.

I become to know that they are expecting

What I have done is likely to preach materialism to persons of "dietism" so-called.

"Marxism to Christians" ... seems to be difficult to understand.

In the TDL, a foolish person who points an accusing finger at Micky Mouse with crying " a human body is in that "

What I have done is almost same of the above, I think.

So I am sorry but, it cannot help that my columns become less popular.

To tell you the truth, keeping out of my things, I am sorry for ladies and gentlemen in the editorial department.

However, Mr. Chief editor and Ms. lady in charge said that

absolutely at the previous meeting.

I have already written the story that I hate a phrase of "xx technology that Japanese are proud of". I also have a word I hate extremely. It is

"First-class"

There are a lot of words that are used remain undefined, and I do not want to agree with the assertion that "words that can not be defined should not be used".

"First(1st) class" includes for a numbers "1".

Moreover there are "second-class" and "third-class" in the world, I think the term "first-class" should have been used as a comparable unit.

Even If so, the world should be defined quantitatively.

Of course, we do not need to be a universal definition (I think also would be impossible such a thing).

If there is a book whose title includes "first-class", the author should defined the meaning of "first-class" in the book.

The author who can not do it, is

not a "first-class" person, as a author at least.

I also falls into the logic of contradictory circulation loop.

(Continuation from yesterday)

Besides this, paper are required to quote a lot of past papers.

Also in the requirement, "please quote at 10 to 30 papers" (really).

So, if I write an English paper, I have to quote English papers naturally and I also have to read all of them.

For "engineers who are not loved by English", this can be said to be one of the hells on the world.

-----

In the first place, I am a human who does not ask "people's opinion".

Because, even if listening to another person's justice?, is it fun for you ?

Listen to the story of everyone telling you?

Huh?

Such a person should finish his/her life, just listening to people's opinions.

... I'm sorry, my feelings are annoyed, so I inadvertently vomited "justice".

Back on topic.

-----

I am not sure how to write the paper and to operate the procedure, I am asking the secretariat of the academic association by e-mail - in English.

The person in charge of the secretariat is very kind. It politely responds variously - in English.

However, the name of the secretariat, which is described in the e-mail, is like Japanese name, no matter how I look at it.

The location includes "Tokyo" and I am also sending the address of the company stating "Yokohama".

Somewhere in Scandinavia, Africa and the Middle East might be called "Tokyo", however , the possibility seems to be low.

-----

In Japan, Japanese people exchanges English messages.

"What a useless think they do!"

I agree with you, however, in the world of such academism,

"Official language = English"

It has such a strong power.

This is "customs".

-----

When we say "customs", we make images as follows,

- In the old family, at the husband's parents home, his wife should not join the New Year's party, Just to make meals in the kitchen, or just to serve dishes (true story)

- On the night of New Year's Eve, all relatives of the spouse gathered in the drawing room, sitting on the sofa (stretching the spine), and watching th NHK symphony orchestra's year-end concert (true story)

In conclusion, it is no exaggeration to say that our world is made with just "customs".

======

Mr. Tomoichi Ebata

First of all, I pray from the bottom of my heart that your father's soul rests in peace.

I have read your diary.

I think that you could use the expression of "killing" with your serious preparedness.

In that sense, I have killed dozens of patients so far.

That means, the principal or their family asked me to restore the health, and I could not achieve it.

-----

The doctor continues to kill people in units of one million a year, in terms of medical treatment but not recovering.

About half a century ago, it was clear that doctors would be willing to designate how to die, however, such paternalism has gradually become obsolete and the will of the principal and family is respected.

In a sense, this is forcing the family members to decide how to kill them.

And the doctor is a criminal.

In your column, whose title is "Work style reform(10) elderly care - Sacrifice by medical advances) you wrote, we have to face "the era when you must choose a way of killing" for the first time in the history of humanity.

Up to now, there was a time when choosing the maximum possible life extension (by ventilator or high calorie infusion) as much as possible.

I have the impression that there are many people in baby-boomers era, that feel regrets, "I made a mistake in murdering my parents(Although I can not assert it).

There is an impression that the choice of "avoiding painful treatment (that is equal to defining the death period)" is gradually becoming increasingly common with the concept of dignity death, however I think that this includes enormous amounts of repentance, generations and grudges of the previous generation.

A age of the light smell of death, we might have to learn the reality that "Someday the time will come when you decide the end of your parent's life (how to kill your parents)"

-----

I will kill my parents by myself as well as Mr.Ebata.

I will not give this role to someone.

I have a younger brother, but perhaps I will get my own way.(But I also think that I will break if I become a fight. It is me)

When I die, I believe that if my child decides my way of death after the contemplation even when I could not express my thought, the decision is better than a doctor as a stranger.

(I hope that my child grows up to adult who will decide the parent's death confidently.)

As such, I thought your father was blessed with a excellent filial piety.

合掌

Praying hands.

I think I have spent a lot of time on the development and use of location information systems and devices (GPS, etc.).

This weekend, I was writing a column about my family's incident that occurred in the service using this GPS system.

Recently, I am considering a system that uses the Japanese GPS (assist) satellite “Michibiki” (using Raspai).

I think that I have to be with the location information technology.

-----

This weekend, I was watching the anime “Promised Neverland” during a break in writing the column.

I was "challenging alone" about the specifications of the location information device that appeared in the anime.

In this animation, a facility for managing children appears, and there are

- Children that location devices are embedded in their body, and

- "Mama" who manages the facility can know the position of the child using the monitor device.

This is a typical tracking system, provided by "Secom Co,".

-----

There are a few challenges about this tracking system of "Promised Neverland".

(A) How do they send power to the device embedded in the body

(B) Even if using a built-in battery, how do they guarantee the power to transmit location information to the outside?

The biggest challenge for me is

"Mama", who appeared in Episode 11 (the biggest climax), is a scene to discover the position of the device left by "Ema".

On the "Mama" terminal, the location "Emma" that is 1 meter ahead, is displayed.

However, To realize even such a simple operation is impossible by current technology.

I am a qualification holder of "Information Processing Type 1" and "Network Specialist" of the old information processing test.

Of course, these qualifications, like the TOEIC score, have no meaning if they cannot be used in the field.

Of course, there are also benefits such as increasing the number of items in the resume and exemption from other exams.

These days, however, I've lost interest in these types of certification exams and there is no "hare" in my life.

-----

Previously, my wife had been studying "PC certification" at the request of a temporary staffing agency.

At that time, I was a tutor for my wife.

After all, I'm an IT engineer at a level that can point out "statement mistakes" in the "PC certification" textbook.

-----

Ebata: "I wonder if I would take this "PC certification test".

Wife: "Why?"

Ebata: "Somehow, I want "hare"".

When I said that, my wife made me angry with a serious feeling.

She said that "there is no such money in my house!".

-----

Aside from that.

I just found the "Embedded Systems Specialist Exam (ES)" for the first time today.

If I'm taking this exam, I think I'm going to study a bit more.

I wondered if EtherCAT and Raspberry Pi were in the scope of the questions, so I checked the past questions.

As expected, there didn't seem to be any such thing. However, the afternoon's exam question was "almost the same system" as my previous work projects, and I was chuckling.

Nowadays, I call myself a "solitary engineer", but not so long ago, I was doing what is now called "sociable"

I've been thinking about this as I reread my diary, which I used to write in the past.

-----

I used to be the head of the tennis club at the laboratory, or rather, I was "made" to be the head of the tennis club.

So, the head of the tennis club was embarrassed that his 'service didn't go into the opponent's court,' so he went to tennis school.

There was a disgraceful rumor going around that "Ebata was groping girls at the tennis school".

Ebata: "No way. I don't see anything but tennis balls in the school."

I denied the rumors.

In fact, I was the one who took my lessons seriously, and since I belonged to an advanced class, there were very few "so-called 'girls'".

There were "women who were serious about tennis", but they were a different kind of people from the "so-called 'girls'".

And It turned into a disgraceful rumor:

"Ebata is groping middle-aged people with daughters or granddaughters of the right age at the tennis school.

Well, that's beside the point.

-----

As a matter of fact, I think that the effectiveness of "marriage apps" are less than

- Lessons such as tennis school and English conversation classes

- Participation in neighborhood association events and volunteer activities

- Visiting grandmothers and grandfathers in aged care facilities, etc.

These indirect approaches seem to have a higher success rate.

This is because it is not the "system" that evaluates you, but "human being".

Therefore, what is important here is to do these things with "no ulterior motive" and with "genuine interest".

-----

Approaches designed to "meet" girls fail at a much higher rate.

We elderly people are trained to recognize such people.

If you are interested, you can Google it, but as far as I can tell, these are just "redefinitions" of ideas that already existed.

I do not start writing about current news until it has been summarized (e.g., aired as an NHK special).

Articles that are arbitrary, emotional, and inductive are not compatible with the numbers -- there are too many inconsistencies.

Also, the calculations are time-consuming and, in the first place, because only bits and pieces of information are available to give a complete picture. The bottom line is, "I can't write."

Well, I have made many predictions, but many have "missed" as well.

I believe that is something that cannot be helped.

The future is a mixture of various unpredictable factors.

It is, well, impossible to consider them all and make predictions.

All I can do is plug in the past data and predict future points in the extension.

However, I have been and will continue to be forthcoming about what I consider "off" in my columns.

I don't know what others think, but it is not "shameful" for me.

In light of the above, I would expect those who have discussed the following issues to summarize them now.

- Those who claimed that the TPP would bankrupt our economy.

- Those who have argued that global warming is an illusion (or a conspiracy by governments)

I do not mean to be rude, saying that they should change their assertions or self-criticize. I want to ask them to

(1)Organize the current status at this time

(2)Changes from the original claim

(3) Further future projections

We will continue to "miss" future predictions.

What is important are,

(A) Identification of "what was missed" and

(B) "Reasons for the missed" and

(C) "Reasons for the removal" are to be examined regularly,

I believe that this is the most essential part of the process.

Well, this is what we call an 'engineering approach.'
