As for an engineer who should make test programs for experimental products, I want to say

"I don't need the polite and long specifications, but write down the shortest program list that ranges from 10 lines to 20 lines.

"Which is more useful, the perfect specification or the utilized sample program?"

"Do you know better?"

To tell you the truth, I know the reason indeed.

The program could change the execution by compiler, operation system, and API spec.

Moreover, they are primary concerned about debacle because of the sample program.

I heard that only three lines of more than several thousand program lists caused the black down that spread on 1/3 of United States.

I have set a condition for having "Hokkyoku-Ramen". The condition is going to activated by the rule of "when my weight dips from a certain number"

The seal is attached on our scale, and a sentence is written in the seal.

"Wanna to go Hokkyoku, get down to xx kg"

Now "Hokkyoku Ramen" is the most effective motivation to keep my daily diet project.

-----

The other day of leaving the office all at once, I couldn't give up eating "Hokkyoku-Ramen" so I went to a sauna of deluxe public bath.

At that day, my weigh was approximately 400 grams heavy from the aim weight on that day.

So I didn't not only eat but also drink anything and became dried and went to the sauna.

This was considerably scary for me.

Because I am not a ordinal worker, but an elite worker with a member of Safety and Health Committee in my company.

If I faint in dehydration, I am going to be not only a laughingstock, but also be absolutely sneered in the columns of the sports newspaper.

After that, the Safety and Health Committee will get mad with me, and in the worst case, I will be called from the executives of my company, and ordered to work as a head officer of a project until my retirement.

(Continuation from yesterday)

I know that there were some people who struggle against the difficulties using techniques(talks, figures and some arrangement methods), even if it is not enough as a blessing art, of course.

They were in a prep. school that students estimated qualities of lecturers, and the lecturers was going to be fired as quick as wink if their estimations were low.

I think that it is a general reasonable trade-off that if the students are estimated by their performance, the lecturers also should be estimated by their techniques.

-----

On the other hand, teachers who are not lecturers in a prep. school, are expected to check not only study performances, but also fiscal and mental conditions, associations, and others of each student, and manage them properly.

"How many persons who can do them for more than 30 students at the same time in the world?"

( I have repeated it again and again until now) I thought I was very sorry but I couldn't do them.

So I decided to give up committing myself to becoming a teacher.

When I was a college student, I was asked a tutor.

I think that these kind of talks are irreverent, however she was a girl of a junior high school student who was somewhat disappointing and non-intelligent.

She could not give a greeting, not talk to people according to the condition, and not pretend to act (pretending understanding or not).

She might be called so-called "communication obstruction (communication disturbance)" however, I do not know the definition of this word nor usage.

Though It might be a uncomfortable story, children with good grades, basically, will have the communication skill normally.

However, all of them are not children with good grades (parts of them may be just a petty person).

Anyway, I set my expectation at 50% and I was on standby.

-----

When I entered her study room, my expectation felt down dramatically from 50% to 0%.

On all the walls of her room, a pile of male idol photos and posters were sticky.

My first impression when I entered the room, was

"scared"

Previously, I read it in a column,

I have read the story that every time he introduces himself, being a member of "orchestra", he is regarded as a lofty person and the talk will stop.

"A lot of even geek and pervert"

He seemed to be mourn in the column.

-----

In my case, I am doing "numbers" as a hobby.

It is "numbers" not "math".

"Math" makes use of expressions, but my 'number' is to calculate something using the computer.

Then, it is fun for me.

-----

If I say "my hobbies is "numbers", what kind of human beings can I see?

Well, no matter how you look at me, I am O.K.

"Even geek and pervert is good "

This sense of saying is quite pleasant, that is "I can lie down this world with numbers".

I do not have the hobby of "collection of books".

When I remember a topic, I just want to access that topic immediately.

I believe that having a large number of books is not worth at all.

As an interview of university professors and writers, and magazine editors, a study or office scattered with documents and books, appears in the interview. However, honestly speaking, I think it is ugly.

If this is an appeal that "I am intellectual," I think "they are idiot".

If they can not get rid of it, I think they have no management ability.

However, I do not mean that I can not understand the scattered study or office at all.

-----

For a while, I continued to cut books and save them with a scanner.

However, at one point I realized that "to digitize books" was the same as "to discard books".

We come to lose the opportunity to retrieve information from books in the computer.

When we look for things, we use the color, shape and size of the thing, and the landscape where we finally confirmed the thing, as the search key.

In yesterday's diary.

"If I apply this environment to my situation at the time, the answer is one thing -- 'expulsion'."

I told my family that I had written to the

Second daughter: "Why? Dad, you can do everything online, right?

Ebata: "In those days, the Internet was nothing!

At that moment, she looked like

"she didn't understand" and

"she had noticed something".

Afterwards, she looked at me with her face as if she was "looking at a black-and-white recorded image".

I thought that.

-----

Afterwards, my wife and I discussed

Was there a "convenience store" when we were in college?

When did "pizza delivery" start?

However, our memories were fuzzy and we couldn't verify them at all.

Today, the main characters of a couple of dramas that had high ratings the year before last announced their engagement.

I was contacted by LINE for the Ebata family.

Of course, marriage is something to be celebrated. There's no lie in that feeling -- however, I also think,

"They are strangers, aren't they?"

About this issue, in my column,

"If there is a difference, it is that I know my friend well, but they don't know me at all"

So, I will skip this section as I have already mentioned it in my previous article.

-----

When I watch interviews on TV news, I find that they are all bland and uninteresting.

This is not an ordinary marriage, but a marriage between two celebrities.

I would like them to have a shot at a comment with a twist here.

"Well, I'm very happy for them. In addition, if their marriage lasts for five years, it's as good as a win, isn't it?"

I'd like to see to introduce some witty comments on the subject.

-----

-- When I mentioned this to my wife, she gave me a very unpleasant look.

Since this fiscal year, I has been thrown in the world where everyone users Microsoft Teams.

"I see, Even a mail doesn't exist here"

I could understand the newly reality.

Both a tele-communication and a chat communication continues parallelly, and new material are throwing in the communication from members based on the topic of the communications.

In addition, "no telephone there".

As soon as a short message of "Shall we talk?" comes to me, the talk starts to watch the display of PC.

To tell you the truth, "It was too hard for two months". however, If I had not been able to use "Teams", I would have "died alone" in my company. Seriously.

That aside.

-----

Today, since I had to suspend the tele-meeting to go to work, I was walking and hearing the meeting by earphone an iPhone. And the topic came to change to my charge(intellectual property).

I hear the others talks of "What Ebata-san worry about is...", "What Ebata-san want to talk...." and I could know the situation of the shucked meeting.

I tried to chat from iPhone, however, I could not catch up with the speed of talking, so I was very annoyed.

Now I think I will be older, and I will not able to be talk my opinion by myself eventually. Today, with no intention, I could get a part of it.

Today, I could feel the new real fear of "getting older".

Today I attended a plenary seminar at the university.

Japanese students seemed to have a hard time with their English presentations and Q&A sessions.

(I am also struggling in my English class.)

-----

When I reflect on my past 30 years ago, I remember that

"I didn't use a millimeter of English in my graduate (masters) program"

I only remember writing about 10 lines in an English abstract.

Considering these factors, the English environment for today's students is becoming more demanding.

I think it is admirable that they are giving presentations in English in an auditorium where half (or more?) of the seminar students are international students.

-----

But in our time, there was no Deepl (translation engine), no ChatGPT (generative AI), no SNS, no email, and no internet to begin with.

Literature research is mainly in Japanese, and I feel that English papers were simply carried around.

I am thinking that each era has its own advantages and disadvantages, and that if they are offset, it would be a even or something like that.

-----

Well, as a senior, I can tell you,

"A helpful tip for handling the English language is to maintain a relaxed approach"

Besides the meaning of "lazy," "lazy" also means "uninterrupted".

Please consider "creating your own 'daily life mechanism'".

In my experience, the one thing that fails is 'subscribing to an English newspaper or Newsweek'.

Please don't forget.

-----
