以前、ベンチャー企業の幹部の方にインタビューする機会を得たのですが、

The other day, I had a chance of an interview for am executive person of an IT venture company, and he said that,

「日本人が特別に大変じゃないんだ。欧州の人だって、英語の勉強やっているんだよ」

"According to use English, Japanese are not special. European person also study English very hard."

と、おっしゃられていました。

でも、「日本語と英語」「ドイツ語と英語」の距離感、全然違いますよね。

However, I am afraid that the distance of "between Japanese and English" and "between Japanese and German" is absolutely difficult.

少なくとも、上記のドイツ語のフレーズを見る限り、

Reading the above German phase, at least,

―― 日本人だけが、特別に大変だ

I do believe that

"Japanese are special against using English"

と言い切っていいと、私は思いますよ。
