However children in school have chances to be given messages from head teachers in this period, from the opinions of my daughters,

There is still a head teacher who make student to be bored to death.

I don't know the reason why they could be the head teachers.

"What topics was he talking?"

"I didn't remember it at all"

So the head teacher’s speeches are not needed, because the student could not remember what they are talking.

-----

"The wonderful spring has come. Cherry-blossoms are full bloom, and the new green is easy for our eyes."

-> "Who don't know that?”

"I am sorry to be late, but I am a new head teacher in this school from the beginning of April."

-> "Same as the above"

"I want to make new school that anybody wants to go to school because there are your teachers and friends in our school"

-> "It is just "problem"."

"I want to establish new rules "greetings in advance", "polite phases" and "good posture"

-> "Is that your solution you think? Don't bullshit."

Even if they are junior school student, they might think above.

-----

As far as I know, the messages from head teachers are vacant. The above samples are just to declare their norm.

When I was a junior student, I wondered whether the head teacher could understand that their speech was attractive.

Bore, pain, long.

If a child becomes to develop anemia, it is absolutely "physical abuse of the child".

----

I want to say that you should think out for your speech.

For example, "Now I want to finish my speech within 60 seconds, so please watch the clock on the wall"

In principle, your talk must be a bore. It is inevitable. So I want to say again that you should think out for your speech.

I heard that an application is released. The application sounds a warring when the person who you don’t like approaches you.

That's to be expected.

However I also had had the same idea from twenty years ago, I didn't apply for a patent.

I knew well that was not patentability.

On the other hand, we should develop a counter-application.

That is the application you could detect the person who use the application that sounds a warring when the person who you don't like approach you.

And the application also has an intelligent algorithm, for example, Bayesian network, and the algorithm tells you whether the detector takes avoidance behavior using the above application.

At this rate, someone will develop a couter-appication against the above counter-application.

It is to tell you a suitable avoidance behavior not to be detected the behavior by the counter-application user.

-----

Thus, these applications make the world recursive thought attack, air complaints and stifling air. Eventually the world will go to ultimate utopia, I have been proposing,

The interface society

will be coming.

In the Ebata, I used to order my senior daughter to make illustrations.

Both she and I were very tired to operate draw software on the PC, and finally we have decided that

We don't use any draw software more.

There are some reasons why I have decided. The primary reason is that any draw software is troublesome.

The daughter as an illustrator said that,

- Enormous stress-out of different place between drawing line, and displaying line,

- Annoying to push bottoms to change pen size and eraser point by point,

- Painful for operating PC when working of the concept from the beginning,

- need more time to color and to modify them.

On the other hand, I as an ordered thought that,

- taking less than two hours for the making period.

- No need to research the draw software operation we didn't know,

- Easy to share the concept, and to point out modification, and ask the severe deadline.

And as a finishing stroke,

- I like hand drawn works of my daughter than that were made by the draw software.

"Please draw a picture within six hours"

"Impossible"

"You may draw it not to use PC.

When I saw this work, I thought that

What is a reason that we have to keep using draw software?

I misunderstood "creation" fundamentally

In my case, I could know the pleasure of writing my columns, thanks to word processor. But it is not suitable for all field of "creation".

Especially, the pleasures of drawing are generated by not only making image but also, touching, watching, and feeling the pressure of the pens.

On the second thought, I also try to print out my columns and modify some phase with a red pen, again and again.

I know experimentally that we could not get whole image of document just on PC's display.

As my wife's case, she always prints out all kind of photos by digital camera, and fixes the pictures in albums.

The albums are multi-purpose viewers that enable us to review our daughter’s growing reports in a few seconds, and show us more than one hundred pictures at the same time.

-----

Now, in the Ebata, the nostalgia command to be returned to analog is going.

For the moment, we have no plan to use the draw software again.

The only case might be just for me, because I can't make a picture by my hand.

Last night, I enjoyed reading "Owari-monogatari(latter)" written by Ishin Nishio-san.

In the book, the scene that the hero and heroine competed in singing songs with scores from the karaoke-machine appeared.

As an engineer, I can determine that the score is not trustworthiness absolutely.

The parameters of the machine must be tuned by engineers.

I can estimate how the engineers make the score algorism.

(1)analysis of key frequency, (2)calculation of the time between specified points of sound, (3)making score as synchronic ratios from the (2)(3).

Maybe there looks like the above three points.

No engineer tries to load another function from the view points of memory and CPU and have spirit to do them.

According to the above parameters, the score becomes worse, the better she sings a song.

So, I think that Ms. Hitagi Senjyougahara doesn't let her down.

-----

When I was a college student, there were many branches that showed "Computer fortune-telling" in college festival. I know well that are squiffy doo.

My wife who majored in English literature input the programming code to personal computer.

"Great! Did you design the algorism?"

I was surprised to heat it from her, she said,

"I just input meaningless many characters from a PC magazine"

The period absolutely existed that

Everybody believe anything with the word "computer”, and everybody respected me only because I could use computer.

Once, the days made me happy overwhelmingly with no reason.

When I step down to the living room, I was flicked out from a black aura.

After saying "What is this evil aura?” I found exhausted my senior daughter beyond the aura.

-----

I am very famous for lapping black in my family and company.

My wife affirms that she can see my black aura on the first floor when I am in my room on the second floor.

However it is naturally that the daughter of the father could lap her aura by herself, it is not usual that her aura force to change the direction of my walking,

-----

"What are you making an evil aura from morning?"

When I asked her, she replied me with a vacant stare.

"Changing class"

In addition, she said "this year of mine is going to be determined by the new class members and just ten minutes after releasing it."

I could not what she wanted to say, and she went to school with cling the black aura.

-----

However she went back home with all smiles, I didn't know what she implied this morning. So I called her to my room, and asked her about it.

After the less than one hour’s interview. I was astonished to hear her shocking story.

What she and her classmates are doing everyday are complicated politics breathtakingly, and sophisticated diplomacy beyond my imagination.

(To be continued)

Hearing her talk with writing down the figure, it is very difficult to understand it.

- Four members in her group.

- However the group has a good relationship between two other groups, my daughter doesn't like a person who is likely to be a leader in other group.

I thought that "It is a governor of power balance isn't it?"

"What is the problem of this class changing? In short it is whether you could join a member of your original group in your new class"

"Not so simple"

- "The probability of joining old member in new class is low despairingly, because there are many classes against the numbers of my original group.

- So, I had to have another strategy that I search a girl who was in another original group.

- But if there is the leader in same new class, I was joined a new group that is managed by the leader because of her charisma.

"In conclusion, what you need conditions are (1) there is a girl who were joined in friendly group in your new class, and (2) there isn't the leader in your new class.

"Right"

"I got you, but I don't know another issue, that "indispensable ten minutes""

(to be continued)

""Ten minutes" was a story of experience trauma, which I failed to make initial group last year.

"I don't understand what you are telling me"

"Unless I join or enter to my favorite group within ten minutes, I have to belong to an unlike group for a week."

"For a week?"

"There are many events, for example, orientation, physical, explaining courses for a week."

"If I want to move to another group, I have to wait for a week."

"I see."

"Even if the girl I don't like is, I have to spend time with her for a week."

"It looks like an extreme hell"

"Right? So I have to make or join to my favorite group in ten minutes."

"You have to make a new party in ten minutes. It must be considerable task"

"A new party?"

"You don't care that. Anyway I could understand why you wear such a dark black aura in this morning."

"This year, I could a friend in not my original group but in friendly group, so we could be joyful each other.

-----

"Let me ask you?"

"What?"

"Is it rough for you to take time in your youth?"

"I don't know. No other youth in my life."

"I assume you that your future time in adult must be easy. You can become coming-of-age."

"It is cool isn't it?"

"So cute! It can fold?"

"Both display and keyboard are compact and seem to be useful."

"likely Sturdy"

"Only voice communication is available isn't it? Oh, this can send character message. I heard this, this... let me see... It is "HAIKU" isn't it?"

"I envy you. It is fashionable. How did you get it?"

My granddaughter said "This is my grandpa keepsake, called "GARAKEI"

Today, the support of Windows XP is finished.

I am wondering why not only Microsoft Co, but also technical news sites are announcing the risk of keeping using XP with change color.

Of course, I know well that some money flow in the news site. But I don't know who tries to spend money for the purpose.

- SIer and maintenances Co. that works for a new OS install.

- PC makers that want to sell a new PC.

- Security soft warehouse.

and so on.

-----

For me, I think that this is rare business change.

The catchy slogan is,

"We keep saving your company securities with Windows XP for more than ten years"

But I could never watch such advertisement, so they are not confident in themselves.

If any security accident happens, the company is going to be bankruptcy.

-----

Anyway, I am afraid that I am presumptuous to tell about the Windows.

I am one of the engineers who thought that GUI based computers never run rampant.

"CUI" is only interface for computers.

And there were really a lot of engineers who told everyone to the same messages.

You could find the name with search engine easily.

However they are now acting all high and mighty for technical field, I never pick their names up in fear for alleged defamer

"All computers are ours."

"Never touch them except for engineers"

In the old day, many engineers thought like that.

In other time, I went to a company to conduct an interview for the chief executive.

I heard that the company provides students of job hunting with some seminars.

"However I can't make an image of the hardship of job hunting of college students, all of them seem to share tremendous burden of toil.

Contrary to my expectation, Mr. President told me that it was not true.

-The students who can get an offer letter can get many offer letters.

-On the other hand, the students who cannot get it cannot get them.

"You don't say so!"

"I am sorry that it is absolutely true that each person has their own job-hunting capabilities."

-----

I remember that I went home with thinking despairingly

"For job-hunting or English, "Not be loved" is deeply painful."

Once, a running manga in the magazine "Manga-life STORIA", "Ms.Koizumi, she is a ramen lover" introduced a super ultra spicy ramen "Hokkyoku ramen" to me.

When I feel rough, sad and tough for my work, "Hokkyoku ramen" is always likely to comfort me.

"A ramen could become a friend for life."

It convinced me the above.

After that, I decided that I make sure that I go to eat any ramen that Ms.Koizumi recommends.

Because I think that is the greatest thanks to her.

The ramen in the magazine was

"A ramen with pine and shrimp"

However I didn't expect that way, it is a ramen Ms.Koizumi recommends....

"Ramen with chocolate, ice-cream, lemons, nuts and strawberry...."

To be honest, it should be hard for me.

-----

No. That's not the case.

Original creative ramens, they are O.K. for me.

They can expand my paradigm absolutely.

I might be able to get a story of one column of mine, if it works.

I engage in eating any ramens she loves even if they are not good.

-----

When I tried to check the "ramen with pine and shrimp", the shop is near Nishi-ogikubo station.

It is far from Kokubunzi, Akihabara and Ikebukuro, so it is difficult to go to the shop after Biz-trip.

So it is weekend.

I am sure that it is a cool and luxury adult holiday, just to eat the ramen.

The other day, some persons now keep talking big about the future technology, thought they had told us about the wrong predict of "GUI ruin".

When the object oriented language became a trend twenty years ago, they had burned FORTRAN and COBOL in effigy with saying

"Like that dirty languages are going to be ruined."

According to IPA report, the existing COBOL code is 16.8% after Java (25.4%).

According to Gartner report, the code is increasing five billions every year, and the ratio of code make up 65%, two hundred billion of all code of three hundred ten billion

Though I know well any result of research is controllable from methods and views.

It's an indisputable fact that the ruin is out of question.

Even if in FORTRAN or COBOL, the legacy of the past (library group), would be enormous quantity. In addition, the experiences in use over several decades are credible.

At the time, we engineer, thoroughly had neglected to this idea "Heritage (Legacy)".

In other words, just say, "Old" in itself (is suppose to) has a huge value than the "New".

At first glance, senior engineers look like to be daydreaming and useless for everything but they have accumulated (Legacy) great assets.

Mr. /Ms. young engineers. Do you understand?

If you make fun of them, you could encounter dangerous situations.

If they go all out, they use technical legacy skills, abuse the power of unreasonable positions, in addition to,

Yesterday, I told you about "Bayes estimator". Today my company library sent me a good book whose title is "Basic of Bayes statics with Excel".

"Bayes statics" provides us with the method how to calculate "the probability of cooper's profit when wind blows" under the condition of "wind blows, cooper is profitable".

You don't care? Yes it's O.K.

I think the question changes if we use the method for the wedding problem, for example, "what is the probability of marriage when a person meets mixers more than one time every month".

In other words, I think you are interested in the following, "what is the different probability of marriage between one time and two times mixers in a month?

Don't you mind?

-----

The previous day, I tried to calculate "happiness of marriage" with using numeric only.

In conclusion, I output the calculation results that "Marriage is gamble, but it is valuable for you to bet".

That could not interest the readers.

But I think "leave it to fate" is inferior to "leave it to numeric".

Though I had knew "Monty Hall problem" from "Owari-monogatari(jyou)" by Ishin Nishio san, I have forgotten it.

Recently, the problem appeared again during "Bayes estimator" study, and I tried to understand this problem and answer.

So, I went to hell for the first time in a long time.

"Monty Hall problem" is easy to understand. You can fine it from many web sites.

(1)There are three doors in front of a player, and the new car of the prize is behind the door of one of them. Goats (meaning out) are behind other doors.

(2)The player gets the new car if they hit the door of the new car. Of course, the player doesn’t know which door is bingo.

(3)Monty (quizmaster) knows the door of the new car, and he shows the goat by opening one goat's door after the (2).

(4)Monty tells the players that they can have a change to change the door.

Question: Should the player change the door?

Answer: Absolutely they should change the door. The probability goes up two times.

------

"What on earth?

"Why the probability goes up twice when the door is changed?"

"The bingo door has been decided at the first stage, so it should not change the probability by ex-post action?"

Do you think so?

-----

The woman writer got more than ten thousands letters of protest (including near one thousand doctorate degree holders) nationwide, and it became tremendous fuss.

Well, I think, would be so.

Even me, I think I did same thing.

But the woman was right.

-----

I did not know the reason even after reading the literature various.

So I tried to execute the simulation activation program using the Monte Carlo method.

However I tried many times again, the numeric showed that she is right.

"Heck! What is this?!

Using all of the overtime hours, I had been thinking all the way this problem.

No, no. This is an honest business.

It is necessary for me to understand "Bayesian estimation" correctly.

After all, I could understand the problem using the resolve to use "100 door’s case" deeply.

-----

So I hope that everybody also suffer against this problem.

Previously, I wrote about the novel "Brave New World" by Aldous Leonard Huxley.

This novel describe a kind of utopia based on the expanded eugenics theory (dystopia from the view of readers)

For example, the world makes three types of human by mechanical processes, and the lower level humans,

are generated as non-intelligent and labor-class human by gene abuse operation, and

are brainwashed that the heavy labor makes them happy.

In short, no unhappy person are in the novel.

-----

I am annoying if I can make a theory to deny the utopia society regardless of discrimination, humanitarian, and ethics.

I am afraid that if I don't, I also deny neither eugenics that was the basic policy of Nazi nor extinction of a specified race.

-----

When I asked my junior fellow a advice, he was saying

"What are you talking now, Mr.Ebata, of all people?"

He showed me the reasoning to deny the eugenics easily.

Today, I omitted the theory (because it is too long). In short, he made his point clear from the view of the meaning of "dominance".

"Oh, I got it!"

I could understand his drift of an argument perfectly, and the same time, I felt to regret to confess myself beaten.

-----

In addition him, there are a lot of junior workers in my office(laboratory) to try to deny my thought with using my previous theory.

In fact, hateful and cool guys, they are.

The other day, I got in line at the station during travel to or from work.

An elderly gentleman got out line, went to the edge of the platform, and picked some device up from his bag.

And he heaved a sigh of grief backward-looking posture,

"What is he doing?

When I was watching him, he seemed to sing a song (Roukyoku?) with keeping his voice down, his shoulders hunched and grabbing the device.

-----

I thought he tried lessons for singing. But it was too extreme to practice song at the platform.

On the second thought, I thought he might be an armature or a professional composer and he might thought out his favorite melody and record it into the device, thought I didn't feel that he was a composer.

-----

I like such an extreme person very much.

I always draw criticism from many people, so the existence of this person does encourage me, especially for my old age.

In my home, we have started a boom the TV program "Missing" in BS Disney channel.

The story is that a mother, whose son was kidnapped, is at war or cooperates with intelligence organization of several countries and tries to save the son.

The mother, who has worked at PTA for her son, had a go-getter CIA agent in her youth, and she never hesitates to kill opponent agents.

The gap is very attractive and and tremendous impact for my family member.

-----

At the time we chatted with watching TV.

"Do you have a similar old story like that for two you?"

"In fact, mom was an industrial espionage and had her sights on company properties."

"An old story, it is"

"I checked mom with my chasing system with camera and GPS monitoring, and finally mom was captured by me"

"And?"

"I proposed mom to stop the jobs and get married to me. If mom accepted this offer, I give up telling the police about this crime".

"Oh, it is a dramatic story."

"Recently I think you do part-time work continually, surely you don't restart your old work again"

"It is secret."

An SF Author, Sir Arthur Charles Clarke, said that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

The old day, my predecessor in my laboratory have perceived that "we are monks in the technology field"

I think that he wanted to tell me that both technology and religion come down to be same from the view of unknown and received.

Certainly, Internet, Smart phone and GPS are beyond reach of imagination, but something excellent.

On the other hand, if someone wants to know the mechanism, we tell them

"You don't have to know that"

"All you have to do is to use it"

The above concept is similar to the saying a guru tell believers.

-----

Go to extremes, I think we can expand the concept to "both Aum Shinrikyo and iPhone are same".

"Why couldn't I of all people, make the initial setting of iPhone?"

"Because it is shortage of your love to iPhone"

The saying jumps down my throat.

In fact, I think, no doubt, for real and at the bottom of my mind,

"iPhone must die"

Let me go to board.

Engineers and scientists, who are monks in technology field, have the common central dogma.

One of them is "never tamper with data".

The significance of existence is to guarantee repeatability in order to get the same results from the same environments.

No repeatability, no making it to expand "something unknown but excellent".

The concept of "something unknown but excellent" is

"The only recourse to get unconditional respect and awe from the world"

So, all actions that threaten the above are big treason acts against religion whose name is "technology".

Speaking in general, "it is easier to see the data," and "to look beautiful" are acts to be praised.

That is the reason why the acts are attacked by monks in the same protege.

-----

However, this is a matter of "internal sect".

I think that there are many engineers and scientists, who feel deeply unpleasant to see that some outsiders who don't understand the technology, have criticized patronizingly "the problems"

Yesterday, I have calculated the merit of "tax deduction for spouse" using Excel

"To my surprise, there is few sample case with numeric on the net.

I estimated the two reasons as follows,

(1) To avoid blames against wrong calculation and numeric

(2) To have no intentions to verify the mount of the tax system with numeric

What I want to know is to know rough digit number, not correct numeric.

For example, I just want t know how much the tax allowance is

Several ten thousand yen, or

One hundred and several thousand yen, or

Several hundred thousand yen

But I could not find it.

The web sites of public offices are the worst.

I know what they mean very well.

There are some persons who print out the numeric and go to office to make a complaint about the difference between the numeric and their own cases.

So I think public office want to avoid the notations to understand easily.

Some licensed tax accountants might be annoyed for the notations.

Anyway, I had to waste my time for the calculation with Excel tables and formulas

-----

I think that what are the most important things are rough grips based on rough formula and rough numeric.

Thought yesterday was a important day for me, I could reach the rough understands,

- Difference between "income tax" and "inhabitant tax"

- The walls of several types of amount money, so called,

- The meaning of the word "National Pension Plan" and "employees' pension"

As the proverb goes, "We can say "I can understand" after it becomes explicable". It is true largely.

-----

On the other hand, today's diary has another purpose, "an advertisement of my next activity".

I feel happy to get goods of the old type and keep using them for a long time, for example private car and PC.

I got the video camera two generation ago, which had been displayed in a shop.

It is nice one, that is light and small and its storage device is only SD card,

But a problem has happened.

The Battery dies in its bed, and there is not same type good at all.

I am really annoyed with this accident.

However I made a cell battery pack by myself, my wife said "inconvenience, heavy and shamed". I also think that it is natural.

All my efforts are in vain. When I entered type number of battery in search site

I could find the battery of clone.

I don't know how to make it, where to make it, how the quality is. Moreover it is suspicious price.

It is just good to work.

As for this contributed column "The reason why we cannot stop the progress of the low birth rate, unless we are given a legal status similar to marriage format in fact marriage", I wrote a little about a civil law before the WW2 In the draft version.

I deeply understood that "marriage" is really just a system.

----- Excerpt Original draft (abstract) from here -----

- It seems to think "love is essential to marriage" now, but the idea itself, historically, fairly avant-garde.

- The Civil Code of the Meiji era, they could not get married without the consent of the parents until 30 years old for men.

- Furthermore, in the even post-war amendment to the Civil Code, "cooperation aid of direct line of descent" was being considered.

- Speaking roughly, the provisions for marriage, established a total of six (parents of both sides and a party), has been rejected by "majority".

- This means that even in the post-war parliamentary democracy, the requirement of "only on the mutual consent of the two" was on the verge to be crushed.

By the way, there is not description in the current law (Civil Code), that "love is prerequisite to marriage" at all.

When I was a college student, a professor of my laboratory used to tell me,

In the past, in order to use the computer, he had to ask for the large scale computer centers in University of Tokyo.

In order to make a calculation, he had to send a bunch of punch cards that were written a program to University of Tokyo. (The punch card were written "Z(1) = Y + W(1)" only).

Ebata: "Professor, how did you debug the programming?"

Prof.:"There was no concept of debug in those days"

-----

Can you believe it?

Can you image the programming without debugging?

He drilled a hole in the punch card of several thousand pieces (with loudly noise), and packed the card in cardboard box to the university.

After that he had to wait the results for several months.

The program code that was written in one card is just one line, for example "Z(1) = Y + W(1)".

Ebata: "Professor, you don't have to say any more.

However I had one deeply question about it, and I asked him,

Ebata:"How do you get the result of error?"

Ordinary people will the end of their life without using the word "police questioning".

As far as I am concerned, I have been called from police not only mainland but overseas.

I don't get angry with the questions especially. I am afraid that I was born like that by nature.

This animation is no complaints. This original work of art is wonderful. Moreover the deeply important point is that this work shows not only bloom of youth but also life itself.

There is an extreme event "business presentation of trainee in two year" in my company.

This "extreme" means that instructors, managers, and general managers assist the rookies of the second year, and all of executive directors attend the event.

In my case, I had been ordered to rewrite reports and presentation materials by them, and I have almost been broken physically and mentally.

Among them, the worst in the lowest was an inconsistent hierarchy.

The instructors, managers, and general managers issue the contradict order to the rookies, and parts of them tries to ignore the principle on purpose and never permit the modification.

Each supervisor acts for their merit with using week rookies.

Of course, this is a rule violation of the company, so rookies could stop the contradict order. If they do it, the human relationships are absolutely broken, because,

The rookies are about to daub boss’s face with mud.

The rookies take courage to do it. In fact they need madness.

Additionally, the executive enforce them to change the concept of the almost completed presentation before a few days.

For example, "the term of "Global" should be added in all presentation material"

Of course, the flow of presentation is going to be destroyed. Rookies become nervous and continue to fall in sick in sequence.

Yes. It is "project".

Moreover, my company executives will deny the whole contract, and the project is finally destroyed by them.

If they try such politics training outside, it might have a high risk of it. So this event might be good for the rookies.

It is not a money-making.
