Today, I gave a presentation (?) on safety lectures in the company.

(Omitted hereafter.)

More details will be released soon...I hope.

Why does not Ebata release his comments about "Summer Time Render"?

Some people may think so.

You may feel strange that Ebata, who is a space-time content freak, keeps silent about "Summer Time Render"

I am not making a comment. I am unable to be making a comment.

Because I failed to watch two episodes during the series,

You know, this is my fault.

At the time of Steins;Gate, I was on a business trip to England and watched it on my laptop from my hotel.

The reason I have been so caught off guard is because of Amazon and NetFlix.

Most anime is followed by one of the video sites, but "Summer Time Render" was not supported by either.

When I knew it, I mumbled, 'Really?' and my mind went blank.

-----

A space-time content requires continues viewing due to the nature of its content.

Well, that tension is also an indescribable pleasure.

Anyway, what shall we do?

Recently I released a column of mine.

As noted here, this column was rewritten in response to the editorial board's proposal to "delete the first half in its entirety" and my counter-proposal to "rewrite the first half in its entirety.

If you've read this column, I'm sure you've already noticed. The "original column before the rewrite" is a

"Direct attack on 'a certain religious group'"

I hope that, "I want someone to read it, since I completed it".

Therefore, we would like to distribute the original manuscript in secret.

If you want to read it, please mail me with the mail-address adding the subject "Original manuscript subscription request".

No greetings, self-introductions, etc. are required.

After some applicants come, I will send the URL(https://kobore.net/....) at the same time with Bcc style.

Of course, please be assured that the email address you send us will be completely destroyed after delivery and the "Ebata Firewall" will be activated.

I'm curious to see how many people will be interested in the "original manuscript" ("Hyouka" style).

After stopping drinking, I come to prefer to get "sweets".

I used to like western sweets such as cakes and cream puffs, but now I prefer to eat Japanese sweets.

First of all,the calories of westren sweet is several times higer than those of Japanese sweets, and Japanese sweets seem to feel full subjectively.

When I read the comic "Deaimon" in midnight, I come to panic to want to eat Japanese sweets.

Daifukumochi, sold in supermarkets, even if that is not in Japanese sweets specialist, for about 188 yen for a pack of four, is good enough.

I don't think cheap Japanese sweets used to taste good. We appreciate the sales efforts of the manufacturers.

-----

In general, I feel that there has been a severe paradigm shift in my taste recently.

When going back to the country house, I was eating out all the time. Though I like cooking, I didn't like to dirty the kitchen in the house without my father and mother.

I am shocked that the "Gyoza no Ousho" set meals and "Yoshinoya" beef bowls, which I thought were so delicious, do not feel like I used to.

I am rediscovering nowadays that 'Chinese food at Chinese specialty restaurants is very delicious'.

A few days ago, I publishded the following diary.

I was surprised to receive "subscription request" e-mails from more people than I expected.

(After zero applicant after two consecutive days, I will publish it. )

-----

Watching the reactions of this columns,

I was disappointed, saying "I missed the mark", however, now I don't know the how to evaluate this column.

Just a hypothesis,

"I will be in trouble if I comment about a cult religion group"

I wonder if some readers might know the reality well.

-----

In fact, they are the worst. I know well that.

My weekends are sometimes busier than weekdays.

The reasons are for a deadline for column, and for programming, with the ease of not interruptions.

So, the peak of my fatigue comes to Monday morning --- it is an "exhaustion".

So recently, on Monday morning, I go to a super public bath, taking a sauna and fixing my stiff shoulders.

Remote work, hurrah!

In the restaurant of the super public bath, the dishes are delicious. I enjoy eating "Soba" at the restaurant.

-----

"Taking a bath, and eating soba"

However, I don't want to pretend "Edokko".

Soba is delicious in Kanto area.

This may be because I am from a rural area.

----

Udon is delicios around Nagoya city where my country house is.

However, I don't know of any 'good soba restaurants' around my parents' house -- or rather, I can't think of any soba restaurants around my parents' house.

Then, how about Kyoto when I was a student?

Yeah, when I was a student, I only ate ramen, beef bowls and ginger-yaki set meals, so neither udon nor soba noodles come to mind.

In contrast, in the Kanto region, even the standing-only soba restaurants are delicious enough.

------

Speaking of food -- I had a really hard time getting "natto" in the U.S., and in the landlocked state of Colorado.

For the first time in my life, I had to rely on the power of the "Japanese community" in a foreign country.

I had to be prepared to "give up my isolation" for the sake of "natto".

This is "living in a foreign country" in a sense.

Now let's return to the main subject.

-----

As a matter of course, good soba is expensive.

I want to eat delicious soba, but I am not willing to pay exorbitant prices for it.

However, I will not be making my own soba. Because anyone who gets into soba making (as far as I know, without exception) becomes a jerk.

If they start talking about "the water," "the temperature," or "the way to make", I'm going to cut them off in zero seconds.

Anyway, I like soba.

My future predictions has been out of mark dynamically.

So I am sorry that you don't have to believe what Ebata says no much from the bottom of my heart,

And I'm going to say this with an evasive answer.

"I think robotic caregiving is a no-go (at least in my phase)"

However it is the case of "full humanoid robot", on the other hand, I think that "powered suite" has a little hopes.

-----

The paradigm that has shocked me recently is 'macho caregiving'.

"IT, control, and robot are meaningless. The 'macho caregiving' is right answer".

I was so shocked that I was hit over the head.

Through the death of my father and mother, the caregiving phase is going to move to my wife and me.

For the preparation, we will need money and devices, however, for the side of the caring , "macho" is easy to understand and a cheaper strategy.

From the viewpoint of risk management to avoid being a care receiver, this is a good approach.

-----

This paradigm has come to me, since I made the following device.

Now I can do 20 sneaky pull-ups and keep my body hanging over 60 seconds.

These days, I have added new menus for full body exercise.

"It might be not too late"

So, I am organizing a tour of gyms and other facilities for muscle training.

-----

However, \20K yen/month is too expensive for me.

Ordinal fitness club has many members, and the civic exercise center is far from my house.

My motivation of muscle training is just for "caregiving".

I have never wanted to have a macho body and be popular with the woman at all in my life.

(To begin with, I thought "Macho is stupid" that is terrible prejudice. Now I change my mind to "respect" or "useful")

In addition, I am a "recluse lover".

-----

So, I am searching how to get muscle to move a person, and avoid "strained back" just in my house.

Like the the above "iron bar", I love DIY making or modifying my house, so I appreciate if you give me some advices.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Yesterday, I was searched "fuzzy reasoning library with Golang" that I had made before.

In addition, I ran a search engine, and I was surprised to find a large number of hits on the word "Go", "Fuzzing".

"Returning to 'Fuzzy Reasoning' ? with Golang? Now?"

I was foolish to think even for a moment.

-----

Golang's Fuzzing function is "an approach to finding bugs by providing input that is not expected by the program's functionality," and it is a "testing tool for finding bugs in programs.

fuzz: police (noun)

fuzzy: ambiguous (adjective)

I think it is rare to change the meanings of word just between noun and adjective like this.

Lately, I realize that I am standing on the side of the old man, that menas, problems caused by the elderly (esp. gerontocracy, and elderly people's control over the young)

I am trying not to touch youth ideas and sensibility, however, it is hard for me.

As you know, one of my businesses is to make questions against the social and political correctness.

So I continue to write a series of columns with the aim of using "numbers" to to turn the correctness and common sense upside down.

It means,

"I have a lot of logics to knock down the ideas that young people tend in my mind"

To make the worst, I can show them using many specific numbers.

-----

I am not trying to brag.

"Getting older" menas that I have had "more time" to have these experiences and calculation. That is all.

Senior is stronger, because of their life time. This is power.

-----

When I was youth, several ideas and ideals of mine had been broken by seniors.

Their logics were always perfect, and I had to continue to lose.

Therefore, it took me a long time to arrive at the cencept of "the ability not to listen to others".

Flexible, smart, and communicative young people, the so-called "competent young people", tend to be easily preyed upon by the "old".

I know this reality from the side of 'crushed side' and the 'crusher side'.

-----

So, I think that what I have to have is

'The ability to remain silent about what I know.'

And the easiest approach to maximize that ability is to 'not argue'.

I realize that I am now required to make an effort to "not understand each other.

The "original manuscript subscription applicants" are coming even now.

By now, I'm starting to worry, 'What if it's a disappointment for them?'

I had judged on my own that the content would be OK. and I did not think it would be that great.

(However, it seems that the editorial department demanded "deletion" and the wife demanded "suspension of publication.)

"Enough for anyone to read a few books on this cult (including its doctrines)"

です。

(After zero applicant after two consecutive days, I will publish it. ) is not satisfied now.

I will work on editing this weekend, but may have to wait a little longer for release.

Please understand that I apologize.

It is very interesting that my senior daughter has recently started to seriously consider national defense after seeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

# To be precise, it's not 'national security' but 'escape'.

"Where to escape?"

She is seriously concerned.

-----

Simulations of how our country (Japan) might be drawn into a war in the future are a favorite topic of mine, so I told her about some of the scenarios.

Last night, in addition to this, I also explained "justice from the Russian point of view" and "justice from the Chinese point of view".

"They have their own, justifiable reasons for starting a war"

The stories of mine seemed to make her more anxious.

Aside from that.

-----

I once criticized my daughters for their lack of modern historical knowledge, and was rebutted.

On the other hand, my wife feels a serious sense of crisis over the fact that no "Chushingura" dramas have been broadcast in recent years.

"What if the spirit of Chushingura is lost from the Japanese people?"

I am truly "not concerned" about this.

However, my wife was extremely angry with me when I told her that it was "a terrorist attack by local ronin who formed a clique," so I have kept my mouth shut.

-----

We have our own set of values, and we want others to understand those values, but--

After all, such attempts will be in vain.

Since Russia's invasions of Ukraine, I have been realizing that fiction stories in novels can be used properly in real life.

First of all, the fact is that "nuclear deterrence" is working to a point.

At this time, neither Russia nor NATO uses nuclear weapons.

Frankly speaking, I have feared and continue to fear that even if "strategic nuclear weapons" are not used, "tactical nuclear weapons" are possible.

-----

Secondly, a new nuclear weapon using nuclear power plants --- "nuclear power plant attack"

As you know, the world is still shaken by the ongoing Russian attack on nuclear power plants(*).

(*) Russia claims "attack by Ukraine

I believe that the Japanese are the only people in the world who truly understand that "nuclear power plants," which produce electricity, "would be in serious trouble if they did not constantly supply power".

Of course, this refers to the "total loss of power" of the Fukushima nuclear accident.

This "attack on nuclear power plants" is ludicrously easy and ultra-low cost compared to "developing atomic bombs".

There is no need to attack the reactor itself, only to destroy the power grid -- "a few saboteurs" should be enough.

-----

Thus, strategic nuclear weapons 懼 tactical nuclear weapons 懼 nuclear power plant attack,

I realize that we have not "abolished" nuclear weapons, but rather "discovered" a third nuclear weapon.

Through the above, I am proceeding with the "Ebata Machoization Plan"...or rather, the "Ebata Body Modification Plan as a caregiver".

The viewpoints are as follows.

(0) Going out (e.g., to a fitness center) is a hassle.

(1) Burly devices such as barbells and dumbbells will eventually become "pickle stones".

(2) Training machines are very expensive as well as there is no place to put them.

(3) Basically what I want is an "assistant" to help me with abdominal and back exercises.

I was thinking about it -- I impulsively "bought it" yesterday.

-----

I was able to lutinize the bars (pull-ups), but it remains to be seen if I can include these abdominal and back exercises.

I know that "Withdrawal" is a super advanced technology.

I believe that it is not only a "technique" but also a "philosophy".

For me, with that kind of mindset,

- NHK program "Kaitai Kingdom"

- NKS Special "The Road to Decommissioning."

are valuable contents full of thrills.

Japan is an advanced country in terms of nuclear disasters, including atomic bombings and nuclear accidents.

At the same time, however, I believe that these unfortunate disasters have enhanced our nation's "nuclear" disaster preparedness techniques.

As a systems engineer, I know for a fact that 'there is no such thing as an accident-free system' in the absolute sense of the word.

New "nuclear" accidents will continue to occur in the world.

This is because, as long as humanity has no prospect of giving up "nuclear" in the foreseeable future, nuclear accidents are bound to occur.

The following is an illustration of the "1 in a billion years" accident rate, which make me laugh.

There have been three major accidents in the United States (Three Mile), in Russia changed the Soviet Union(Chernobyl, and in Japan (Fukushima).

As I wrote in this page, this time, I study the meaning of terms of "HP", "AP", "MP".

HP: Hit Points: A statistic that indicates a character's strength or vitality in a game.

AP: Attack Points: A status that indicates a character's ability to take action, etc.

MP: Magic Point: A status that indicates a character's ability to use magic or spells in a game.

Initially, I felt uncomfortable with the term 'status'.

Because I thought that the word of 'status' is something static, like social status.

However, I did a little digging more,

"The state of a character in computer games, especially online games and role-playing games like, capabilities, experience, and weapons possessed by the character"

As the above meaning, I know that the word of 'status' has already been default in the game word.

I have been designing and developing "human agents" that can be handled by computers.

And I use these agents mainly in simulating the movement of residents and transportation in the city.

When I design an agent, I start with 'static' things like 'address', 'age', 'gender', and 'occupation'.

-----

So, I wondered what would happen if I put the HP, AP, and MP stats into my agent this time.

should be needed.

I think this is the crucial difference between the game and my simulation.

like this one.

Every day I am forced to learn new terms such as outcome, logic model, logic tree, and so on.

If you are interested, you can Google it, but as far as I can tell, these are just "redefinitions" of ideas that already existed.

For engineers who want to understand the mieaning of terms by matching existing technologies

I think that "Bayesian Network" would be the quickest way to understand them.

Well, recently I use "EBPM" as one of terms which I have to understand.

EBPM means "evidence-based policy making".

Therefore, a existing minister or members of the Diet used the "Unification Church's organizational votes" in an election, may be a really, really and really small matter, like "A fly on the cake for a moment".

Regarding the former prime minister's state funeral, it is right to discuss 'what a state funeral should be like,' and should not be judged based on liking or disliking the deceased.

A state funeral is a national event, an expression of condolence for the deceased, and an important event that shows the state of our country to people in Japan and abroad.

I know it well though,

As I wrote the following,

However, after watching the video-clip of the former prime minister's speech on an organization related to "Unification Church", it came to spoil me.

Now I have no condolence.

The government's estimate of state funeral expenses differs from my estimate by one digit, but I have decided not to discuss this matter because the budget can be changed in any amount depending on how it is presented (subject, number of days, scope).

-----

Now I have a more brutal feeling that goes beyond "for" or "against".

"Let's pretend he was never there from the first"

I am feeling such the emptiness.

I really wish I hadn't seen that video clip of the speech.

(Incidentally, I feel the same way about the images that appear daily of the ruling party members at the religious parties. If I had a time machine, I would go tell myself, 'Never, ever vote for that party.)

-----

Anyway, I am not going to be able to talk logistically about this state funeral now.

Therefore, regarding this funeral, I think 'the Prime Minister will do it as he wants'.

Although the decision regarding this funeral seems to have been made almost single-handedly by the Prime Minister, it is still the decision of the head of our country's executive branch.

I think I can show a certain understanding of his decision.

I mean -- to be honest, I no longer really 'care' how people who don't matter to me are treated with any way.

When I joined the company, the lack of computer resources was a chronic problem.

Efficient use of memory was the biggest challenge, as creating a three-digit two-dimensional array alone would not allow the program to run.

At work, I was fighting for workstations.

However, PCs no longer face this problem as they now have ample resources.

With the advent of programming languages (such as Go) that are strong in concurrency processing, objects of the order of one million can now be handled as usual.

However, I should not be reckless.

I have tried various responses to the database screams, but when I checked the resource manager, I found that the disk (write) usage was over 99%.

Well, I thought, writing 100 agents' information 30 times per second to a database created in docker, the database would scream.

Wife: "What! That's an accident! Are you okay?"

We were both nodding our heads like 'What are you talking about?'

What the general public associates with the word "database" would be an administrative management system, an electricity delivery system, or an e-commerce system such as Amazon.

"Of course, we must complete to 'Zero'"

I've made them a mess for a long time.

The team members were put off by what he said, however I don't care of it.

The other day, I was asked from my reader,

"Did you start charging for your articles?"

and I was really surprised.

I remembered that for smartphone, user registration to EE Times Japan has been needed as one-action process.

However, you don't need to register from the web browser of PC

Anyway, reading my columns are free of charge even now. I mean, I have no control over this.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

-----

I think that there are more requests for this type of user registration recently.

I am not good at the actions like this either. so I happen to sto

This cases are apt to happen on Nikkei-XXX site. This is because I am "fed up" with the survey sheets that are required after this registration.

The Nikkei XX website operators should understand the "discomfort" of being asked to write these privacy details -- income, family structure, job title, marital status, unmarried status, etc.

As a general rule, I do not answer surveys that have more than 10 items. It is because it is too much trouble.

-----

The other day, I went to visit a gym for muscle training, and the moment I saw the questionnaire form (double-sided, with super small characters) that I had to fill out before the visit, I said

"Sorry, I give up"

and left the gym.

I decided that it was not worth the cost of responding to this survey, as I only wanted to tour the gym facilities.

-----

And maybe many facilities and portals are missing out on potential customers like me because of the 'discomfort' and 'hassle' of users.

If they don't realize that, I think that they are "stupid."

If they realize that, I think that they are "unhelpful stupid."

The other day, I took a photo from a photo machine (speed photo).

For the first time in my life, I wore "glasses (reading glasses)" to take pictures.

"Wearing glasses eases my unpleasant look"

I noticed that.

I was horrified when I saw the photo for my passport renewal.

I thought that if I were involved in an accident or incident and this photo appeared on the news, I would be assumed to be the "perpetrator" or "culprit" without having the news story confirmed.

On the day of the "State Funeral," I spent the entire day confined to my home and worked.

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

"A New Theory of Action for Engineers Who Are Not Loved by Money(7)"

I became a "guru (temporary)" as a strategy to survive in old age

-----

Frankly speaking, the last column was not very well accepted -- from my viewpoint based on Twitter or rankings.

I made some revisions, but to be honest, I was disappointed because I put a lot of effort into writing it.

-----

Junior: "Ebata-san. That's probably a generational gap"

Ebata: "?"

Junior: "In our generation, "cults" were recognized as really dangerous -- Unification Church, Soka Gakkai, Aum, Happy Science, Jehovah's Witnesses... There was no college student who didn't know about them, and the public had a certain level of knowledge about them. There wasn't a college student who didn't know these things existed, and the public had a certain amount of knowledge about them.

Ebata: "Yes. I think so. I saw LDP General Affairs Chairman Tatsuo Fukuda on the news once saying, 'I don't know what the problem (about the Unification Church) is,' and I involuntarily lectured him on TV, saying, 'What the hell have you learned so far?' "

Junior: "...that LDP member, maybe he really 'didn't get it'."

Ebata: "Yes! That's "no" in any case. Is there such a member of parliament in our country?"

Junior: "It is possible that he had at least some knowledge, but he did not feel the impact (anti-social activities such as psychic sales and excessive donations) firsthand.

Ebata: "Really? When I was walking around college campuses, there always seemed to be a sense of tension that if I wasn't careful, I would get hit."

Junior: "Also, it's possible that activity on the cult side is declining."

Ebata: "What do you mean?"

Junior: "There has been no improvement in the congregational recruitment approach -- they are just using existing methods and not improving their approach. And so the cult side is on the verge of extinction"

Ebata: "If it's on its way to extinction, that's great... but there are still a lot of approaches that could be taken, like the 'one-op missionary' that I proposed in my column, right?"

Junior: "I think the problem with cult groups is that they can't make such 'IT literate' people into believers."

Ebata: "I see. Religion and IT don't seem to go well together..."

-----

Now, in this column, I would like to look at your "interest in cults".

Please note that I am also personally releasing an unmodified version of my previous column to anyone who is interested.
