Every year at my birthday, I have to cook fishes I get from net.

I think that that is

An unreasonable event

that I am enforced

Well, the fishes are fresh and good, so the taste become better, even if I cook as an amateur.

If I sliver fish smoothly, I think it is cool, but it is impossible that the skill becomes well.

-----

I was given the birthday presents from my family, they become to know my favorite.

When I opened the fancy lapping, there were

Screwdriver set, from the junior daughter,

Tangerine 3kg, from the senior daughter,

Persimmon 2kg, from my wife.

On the tangerine, each difference face are drew courteously, so I said,

"Great! It looks like very hard for you to draw faces on all the tangerines.

When I applauded her,

She started to draw faces (only eyes) on other tangerines suddenly picking up them at the bottom of bag.

Until a while ago, I argued whether "the soul existed" with the eldest daughter.

She told me that she feel fear with die of human. I remember that I was troubled with such a thing in the days of teen.

Though I told her my opinions clearly extremely and kindly,

She came back to her room, with leaving the phase

"My teen's glass heart was broken by your logical stories. Therefore I go to sleep"

-----

私は、

I said that

"There may be soul, and there may not be it. I don't know the fact. If you think "there is no soul", you could understand this world clearly."

"There may be god, and there may not be it. I don't know the fact. If you think "there is no god", you could understand this world clearly."

What I just did was to tell her the above stories logically and plainly.

"Some of my columns are popular among readers."

About it, my junior coworkers said the followings.

- "You should not make your mother do the reload (Ctl+F5) operations to your column page from your family home."

- "You should not make the agent program in order to reload the operation to your column page from your home server."

I said in remonstrance that

"If I make the agent program, it is going to come out the disguise because of the access from the same IP address.

They responded soon,

"Ebata-san. It is a piece of cake for you to make the agent for the matter, isn't it?"

I have been opposed to starting English program at junior school.

However we cannot avoid it, I can accept the way of

"Learning only English words off by heart”

The following is my absolute believe,

"We can work out if we can line up all words that are needed in the English conversation."

I believe that, moreover I know that.

In fact, I have worked my oversea tasks and I have been able to do them.

In addition, I think that my company gave the proper values for my jobs to me.

Wife:"Objection! It is not enjoyable."

Ebata:"Argument. Have you had experimented delightful Kanji dictation?"

Wife:"The communication is the main purpose of studying English isn't it?"

Ebata:"Did you use the following Kanji "Banshuu","Kika", Sokyu" in your conversation?"

Ebata:""refrigerator","ladle","eraser", "stationery”, “athletic meet". If they could bring the words to mind immediately, and,

-----

Thanks to this program "learning only English words by heart", all of junior students might be going to act like RuuOshiba-san, and they should annoy us, around them.

"She is a beautiful flower in a high mountain for me. (She is an unattainable object for me)"

If I find a boy who speaks the above phase, I suppose to knock him over.

However this process is inevitable toward Japanese globalization, I think I put up with his foolish act.

According to the word "Power", many people might come to think that the word should be pair with "common person that suffers from poverty under the coercion".

Thought it is absolutely the case of "Power", it is not all.

For example,

"For my case, I had to write an English contract by myself, and the contract was remanded from a department three times, and totally I had to spend more than three weeks"

Against the above issue,

"For an executive’s case, the department wrote an English contract and managed awkward transactions by the department. Totally, the only two days were needed."

This is also a kind of "Power" respectability.

-----

The above stories are just an example in order to understand "Power", and there is no relationship between the department and Ebata.

My second daughter continues "reading a book with walking" every day, as I also do it.

Though not only my family but neighbors give her a warring like "Dangerous!" "Stop it!", she said,

"My daddy also does it"

with her logic arming, and shows no signs of stopping it.

Ebata:"In my case, I do it in the middle of the night with head-light. It is safer than what you do."

I don't think that this excuse is a self-deception for not only her but me.

However, her action was going to be punished in an unexpected way.

-----

It was time when the second daughter went to school alone early in the morning every day for one week, for her jobs of the class.

In morning of one day, she was called out to by so-called "school crossing warden" of the pedestrian crossing.

"Don't worry. You can make your friends soon."

と。

-----

- In an school road without the popularity,

- Lonely every day.

- A girl who walks while reading a book.

Who blames the "school crossing warden", if all these condition of him become wrong?

----

In fact,

"I am not lonely"

The second daughter seemed to fly into a rage.

The other day, I had discussed the following story to my junior daughter (The 6th grade).

"What does "to live eternally" means?"

Daughter:" I merely think that it is that we don't die all the time"

Ebata:" I think that it means "to remember everything all the time""

Daughter:"?"

Ebata: "Our mount of memory is decided by the size of our brain, so we cannot continue to record what we are doing eternally."

Daughter: "And?"

Ebata: "For example, if we can live eternally and can keep our memory only for 100 years, can we live eternally?"

Daughter: "We live only for 100 years, don't we?"

Ebata: "All right. It thinks it not to make much of a difference from the life of the life of 100 years after all."

Daughter: "But I think that the life that there is not fear of the death is not bad"

Ebata: "Does the value of "living eternally" have fear of the death?"

For my wife and daughters, I sometimes broach the subject of such philosophical aporia.

However, I don't pose as the maieutic method of Socrates, I arrange my thought with using them.

-----

My father cannot remember the conversation several minutes ago now.

Even if I take out father to a mountain and the river, he cannot remember it until night.

Still his everyday life does not have the big trouble, and, seeing from the side, it looks like a common old man's life.

At the time that he kept on setting fire of cooker, my sister and I changed it for an electromagnetic kitchen utensil in a hurry.

-----

According to my thought of yesterday diary, the conclusion is

"What we do not remember is what we do not live"

Then it is right my father lives in his life only as for several minutes.

However, he said "You are home aren't you?" whenever I return his house.

As the aspect of my information, he lives now.

However, the day that he could not recognize me, might come.

He could keep sleeping, having for his daily life.

I ask myself.

Could I say "father lives" then?

I came to often think about such a thing darkly.

-----

There are several books whose story has a theme of losing memory for short term as follows.

"The formula that The doctor has loved" by Ogawa Youko-san

"Okitegami Kyouko's memorandum" as a new serried by Nishio Ishin-san, recently,

"Flowers for Algernon" by the late Mr.Daniel Keyes

The above books are wonderful and I can recommend them.

-----

However, the books are books, even if I read a lot of same kinds of book.

If I had to live my life that is forced to eliminate my memory after several minutes, how can I feel the daily life?

- My family looks like tired of my same speaking repeat, so I feel fear to talking and am going to keep silent.

I am going to hesitate about any actions in my life, like that.

Above all, I think

- It should be terrible fearful to forget my action and other's saying in several minutes.

And,

- How sad that we cannot tell and leave my thought to others

That is unimaginable for me.

Anyway, nobody could be inevitable that my thought come to be fade away in a black box that cannot be opened.

Even if there are difference between slowness and rapidness, we are going to arrive at the same goal whose name is "death".

-----

So, now I am going to think that I have to modify my policy by myself.

Everybody can admit that even if we had enormous music and video files in a storage, or even if we had the collection of books as a floor fell out, they are worthless.

Though the record contents which are able to take out freely anytime are surely convenient, they are far from the value of the momentary time and space where we play contents.

We, who are listening to the music, watching the videos and reading the books, never lose against our past memories.

------

Therefore,

"The life that we forget is not our life" and "the life that lead to death is worthless" is nonsense.

For example,

If my father, who seems to be dazzling mountains to sprout in the fresh green and light to shake in the surface of a river, could feel "good" or "not good", at the moment, he surely lives in the life of him.

Even if he forget all of the memories of the day at home, it should be a wrong logic that the memories become worthless.

We don't have to lead the funny eggheads that "I could keep the memories if my father forget them".

My father living in the moment itself is really "my father living", and,

It is worth deserving the life for not anyone but father oneself.

I became able to think so finally.

The other day, I wrote the column that engineers have some tasks of not only "creating" but also "destroying", and the "destroying" task is really important.

I am a member of company safety and health committee. I make a habit of being first to do the sweeping, and fire up coworkers to start the cleaning.

Ebata: "Guys! Stop working and start sweeping!! "

And I pass the younger coworker to the sweeper, he said sleepy,

"Ebata-san, Let the younger do"

If somebody reads this essay, they might misunderstand that I was a fighter who fought in the security treaty struggle (No chance in a million?)

However, when I entered the college, not only 60's but also 70's security treaty struggle had already finished before ten several years.

According to my interests, I am pretty familiar with something for this period.

-----

Though I know well that I have no talent of drawing, I sometimes want to make manga-comics.

I think that the power of painting and music is prior to the power of writing, and I am proud of the person who has talents like that.

I have one big dream, and that is

Now, some historical battle ships were deformed as pretty girls of MOE painting (however I don't like them well). So the 70's security treaty struggle is going well.

In contrast to the above, I am a person who come to think

"Why do those fellows dare to come to say hello?"

with feeling gloomy.

-----

I think commonly that "You should go to call out to you from yourself if you want to say hello". I am a rationalist, brainwashed in engineer thought.

When I am looked blank, I always keep thinking something. Especially when I read a book, I am annoyed to be interrupted for salute.

As for me, I don't need your formal salute. I never have feeling of unhappiness without your salute.

But my unhappy feeling is going to be activated easily by other reasons.

-----

From the viewpoint of me,

I feel shrinking back when I come to think that "there are some persons who think "no salute is no polite".

Thought I don't care being scolded by someone at all, I become in trouble if the trouble spread out to my tasks.

Though I think that salute is not important, I always go to someone for salute as a precautionary measure.

So I am afraid that someone might misunderstand that Ebata-san feels polite salute is important. Next, the person who don't think that polite salute is important will come to me for salute,

The count of persons who was interrupted by salutes and don’t like the polite salute, is not going to be reduced. So finally, the negative feedback will continue.

In conclusion, "salute" is

- To continue being used, it become authority,

- To become authority, it continues being used,

- It is a key index to make top and bottom relations clear,

- In the world that cannot prescribe top and bottom relations definitely, it is an absolutely unavoidable ceremony.

Anyway, "salute" seems to be an incredible cost-performance method in order to avoid the risk of the relationship.

On the other hand, there are some persons who can have a sense of satisfaction, and "salute" is a kind of concrete practical example of reverence for old age.

Therefore, hold back your logic and let's make a round of courtesy calls to say hello.

To: young idol group and young office workers.

New series book of Nishio Ishin-san

"Memorandum of Okitegami Kyouko"

become pretty popular among my family. The book is read by from junior daughter, senior daughter to my wife, and become "finishing reading book of my family (except for comics)".

When I remember the above book, there seems to be followings.

- "Library way" by Arikawa Hiro-san

- "KIKEN" by Arikawa Hiro-san

The books only I lose are

- Shigematsu Kiyoshi-san's book (I am looking forward to reading his book after retirement)

The books my daughters lose are

- Miyabe Miyuki-san's book, for example "Kasha" (They said that it is difficult for them)

My daughters become interested in "Bake-monogatari", because of good reputation of "Memorandum of Okitegami Kyouko"

I got the used book from Amazon soon.

I am glad if we can share the topics of "Monogatari-series"

However, about the series, my wife's dropping is definitive, so I have already given up that the book becomes "finishing reading book of my family".

I remember well the interview of Takakura Ken-san, a famous actor in Japan,

"When I was in the Antarctic for the filming of "the Antarctic story", I thought that why such a painful offer is coming for me, in the minus tent."

"Even though I am, I want to appear on the screen, yachting in the southern island, getting on aloha shirt and singing a song with the ukulele."(Like Kayama Yuzou-san)

These phrases left a very impression on me.

If possible I want to make his dream come true of "The movie that he enjoys singing alone"

-----

At a report of the death of Takakura Ken-san, I pray its soul may rest in peace with sincere and deepest sympathy.

Recently, at our office, the event that the music "Hotaru-no-hikari (Auld Lang Syne)" plays to ask the office workers go home has started.

It is a famous story that our Japanese DNA includes the special element that we become to go home when we hear the song.

So, I am expecting an effect to terminate "long hour", playing the music from 22:00.

-----

However, if you ask me, it is still mild.

"Hotaru-no-Hikari" becomes more effective, when nobody know when the song will stop with fright.

If you do it at all,

"Nonstop "Hotaru-no-Hikari" from 22:00 to the next starting time."

If we can do this stage, I believe the "long hour" is going to become terminated dynamically.

However some mental diseases are afraid to be happened, we should pay attention for the "long hour" destruction.

-----

Of course, there seems to be risk that we could get a tolerance against "Hotaru-no-Hikari".

So, I will propose to use the following songs

"Aka-Tonbo (a red dragonfly)"

"Tooki Yamani Hi wa Ochite (Going Home)"

"AnoHini Kaeritai (I want to go back to the day)"

"Marry in the fifth street"

“Loch Lomond in Scottish folk song"

And make the program to play them randomly.

The safety and health committee in our company should concentrate this issue more.

At the last lecture, I said "bigdata must die".

I introduced this phase to the audience as just ice breaker, but it was a provocative subject in these days.

-----

However, some phrases are omitted indeed.

The whole phrases are followings.

- Not setting of the business target,

- believing that something good is going to appear when tampering with bigdata,

- being danced by buzz words in the field,

- gathering data that is lack of mandatory items, is left the extra ordinal values, is not normalized, and is like waste product and raw garbage with corrupt smell,

- building enormous data in front of me , that need more than twenty minutes for data loading,

- believing that surprising data trend that have never discovered since now is going to be discovered, really,

- Foolish executives.

- You must die.

A friend of my friend told me that he has extracted just the two words "Bigdata" and "must die".

Yesterday, I wrote my diary, that subject is "Bigdata must die."

However, there are some good "bigdata" analysis in the world, and some analysts or engineers try to find solution using "bigdata"

I went to the conference, at which I have been looking forward attending.

I really enjoyed the conference even from the afternoon session only.

Especially, I was fascinated with the research procedures of patent descriptions and papers by text mining method.

"Possible to understand more than fifty descriptions, one of them includes maximum four hundred ninety pages for a half day"

I thought that I tried this method as soon as possible, and I wanted to write the follow-up report of this column.

A few days ago, I wrote that I wanted to write about

"Security treaty struggle in 1970s"

It is said now, that the "security treaty struggle in 1970s" was not destroyed by oppression but their disintegration.

And the other was

"This struggle has not been generalized yet"

I think that these opinions are right.

I don't know at all that

How this struggle occurred, changed, and took a way to the disintegration,

And what was the significance,

Moreover, what kinds of their vision they had for their activities.

To tell you the truth, I don't understand everything. (Of course there seemed to be the concept of "revolution").

How should I say...? I don't see "what they wanted to do".

What I was about to say,

I feel that there is a nonsense, like the boy, who put on a straw hat, and always cry "I will become the Pirate King"

"The theme seems to be dangerous"

My wife told me.

I can agree with her. It should be dangerous.

In order to live the calm life, it is said that we never touch with "politics", "baseball" and "love affaire for others".

In addition, there are several political bodies in the present, and they don't seem to deny "violent revolution".

The correct answer is to dance and sing all weathers, not to being in these issues.

-----

However I feel regret for erasing this era in my memory.

I think that the topics of this era become interesting if we can dig them, we could find something exciting comparing the era and the present.

So, I always think

"Whoever, wherever try to do, except for me

and, I pass my days.

The next week, I am given a chance of the lecture, so I watch the Amazon site in order to get a leaser pointer.

However, I hesitated to buy it because of the price.

-----

Today, I watched the presentation goods, and I noticed that

"I prefer fescue to leaser pointer"

What am I supposed to say, I feel uncomfortable to explain something without touching the object.

In this case, the object might be the screen that displays presentation contents.

I feel impossible to share my intension with someone without explaining something with rapping on the screen by the fescue

-----

I know well.

I am an analog person, indeed.

"I'm all thumbs."

Recently, I take charge of the head office of a project.

The tasks were enormous and I said to my boss "I will breakdown soon if I keep the tasks at the pace". He decided that new four persons supported me.

I asked them for working, general affairs, accounting, resource, and public relations. There was no problem so far. But I noticed that I didn't use the handle name "head office".

""Director of the head office" is good, because I became a top of the head office."

So I became to give out "Director of the head office" in my mail.

-----

After few days ago, my boss began to call me "secretary-general".

However I have no ability, no political voice and no power like Mr. Ban Ki-moon.

This morning, I was making a search for something in the cool warehouse alone. I believe that there are no people who order Mr. Ban Ki-moon to search for something in the United Nations Secretariat.

("Secretary General of the United Nations" correctly)

In a station, we often hear the phrase "Please refrain from rushing to get on a train".

I think this phrase should be applied for several fields.

"Please refrain from rushing to study or work"

It is going to make it perfect.

-----

A few days ago, newspaper salesperson came to confirm the contraction for the next three months.

My wife often changes newspaper because of gifts, I sometimes become puzzled.

There is no help for it, because my wife is supposed to choose a newspaper.

-----

Sales: "Do you have a plan to keep this contract?"

Ebata:" I have no intention to subscribe A newspaper.

Sales: "The reason is the recent article of historical accident isn't it?"

Ebata: "No, it isn't. I had already decided that since long ago"

Sales:"?"

Ebata: "It is too difficult to understand articles for me"

In fact, I don't understand what the articles want to say to me.

When I was a high school student, the articles often appeared in college entrance examinations.

And I felt that the problems were difficult, so I think that there were predominant articles.

However, when I become an adult, an engineer and learned technical writing methods, I noticed that "a sentence not to understand is the sentence that is not good"

I have intention to repeat study every day to write readable columns.

For me, whenever I read the articles of a A newspaper, I feel

"Uncomfortable"

-----

But there is no crime in the A newspaper publisher.

It is bad that I am dull.

Now I am in my country house, and I make lunch and dinner as a substitute for the helper.

My father is satisfied with rice and miso-soup, so I cannot lack of them.

Conversely, cooking is easy for me because I make just one more dish.

The problem is that I make miso-soup filled with pan before leaving for home.

Half-finished quantity is left by all means.

Though I let miso-soup freeze at first, my father became difficult that he defrosted this with a microwave oven

What should I do so?

I add water and miso and an ingredient to left miso-soup, and try to increase quantity of the miso-soup.

The miso-soup which I loaded a pan to full capacity with some time ago can find the origin in the miso-soup at least three days ago.

This is really feudal miso-soup.

All miso-soup can date back to the miso-soup of the head family. (It might be different, because there is not a branch family.)

-----

I think that this is convenient.

Actually, we hear the story of "soba soup following for three generations" and “the hanging with the history of 100 years"

I think that even miso-soup might be kept last 100 years in this way.

But, about the miso-soup, I do not hear this kind of story.

I suggested it to my wife, but I was rejected without a clear reason.

-----

Oh, the same miso-soup is not always made with the same ingredient. So there will be no help that she feels bad for an ingredient a half year ago still joins.

However, I think that it is the basically same as making a pan of the second day porridge of rice and vegetables.
