I can't say that I know Shogi rules completely.

NHK's Shogi games on the weekend change channels in 3 seconds.

No matter what Shogi title whoever gets, I'm not interested at all.

-----

However, mysteriously, I really like Shogi comics and anime.

"Shogi Meshi", "Reborn Shougi Player", "March Lion", "Ryuou's Work", etc.

I'm not sure for the reason.

"Two people zero sum limited to determine the complete information game"

I sometimes think that the reasons are natures of the game, however, I also think "Go", "chess", and "Othello" are also acceptable.

Also, Shougi also has exceptions, like a rules of "Sennichite".

-----

I think that for for cowards like me, who cannot bet my life for a game, I have a longing for a person to bet on their life in a "zero-sum game (a game in which winning and losing are definitely decided)"

Colleague: "Is the person married?"

may ask me sometimes.

Ebata: "I don't know. I've never heard of it and I'm not interested."

has answered.

This is not pretending, and I'm really not interested in other people, and moreover, I'm not interested in that person's "marriage" at all.

It seems that I have left that kind of sensibility somewhere.

When it comes to the human "family," I really don't care.

There were many foreigners showing me photos of children and grandchildren on the plane.

At times like this, I feel like "I'm sorry I didn't get the reaction you were expecting".

"A photo of a human subject that appears to be a minor"

I have no other impressions.

-----

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of ads for "marriage activity sites" in my web browser.

Well, these days most of the ads are targeted, so if I look at a certain ad, a similar ad will appear easily.

For example, if I often see ads for erotic sites, it's evidence that I am watching ads for erotic sites.

-----

This means that I often look at ads on "marriage hunting sites", well, maybe you are.

Marriage is, a as desktop/numerical simulation, very interesting field

(Continuation from yesterday)

I'm pretty seriously thinking that it would be okay if a field like "mathematical math" or "marriage statistics" was launched.

This is to observe the phenomenon of marriage from the mass, and I think it may be called "macro marriage science".

In comparison, the "marriage site" is a "micro marriage science" approach to marriage based on personal qualities and behaviors.

Considering from the macro and the micro, I think,

- The only people who see marriage in a macro are those in charge of measures against declining birthrate.

- For many people who are in marriage hunting, they might think "I don't care of others marriages", so, if they are acting based on the micro, it is natural.

- Married people, not married people, people who want to do or not to do should ignore others.

Then, if asked what kind of person I am interested in,

"A person who provides diary tips"

In summary,

The content of the advertisement for the "marriage hunting site" is very reasonable,

A person who talks about the marriage of another person from a macro perspective is "extreme incompetence."

By the way, the story changes,

先日、

The other day, I wrote a diary

Now, how many days does it take to respond to this response? Or will they ignore me?

After that I got a mail from city hall.

Assuming that weekends are not converted into business days, the number of days until the response was "1 day".

I was impressed, "the City hall, pretty good"

-----

I don't believe that I am a so-called "Persona Non Grata" against the city hall.

I make various predictions and hit or drop them fairly.

About one week before the declaration of emergency was announced (April 16), I published the following contents.

College students hugging at the station platform and talking loudly,

Adults at a pub, face-to-face, drunk, spitting, and swearing by her boss

"You can beat them down"

I think "I was right".

The above acts are now taboos of course, but at the time they were not treated so derogatory.

That aside.

-----

Recently, in addition to the existing html-based sites, I have started operating WordPress sites.

At first, I was thinking of doing a full migration to WordPress, but I found that the migration work would be too cumbersome, so I decided to use them simultaneously.

I've been making websites entirely by html-based for a long time, so I didn't know it well, but website tools like WordPress are easy to operate.

Hard copy is especially easy. You can copy and paste by dragging and drawing, without linking scriptions, so it will be helpful.

Also, I'm glad that these tools will do screen adjustments for PCs and smartphones without permission.

Also, the search engine on the site is excellent, and it's nice to be able to follow my own memos with a single keyword.

-----

I use my website as my memo.

More recently, my notes about GIS tools that I left two years ago helped me more than anyone else.

If I am doing new things every day, I have to forget about the old things.

At that time, with just a few lines of garbage programs, a sample of one-line commands, and so on, I can quickly trace back to the memory of the past.

For me, my website is the "timeleap machine" itself.

After all, regarding technology,

―― What helped me was my memo in the past

is true.

Well, it's also a checklist to avoid writing diaries with the same topic.

No one blames me, but I'm still embarrassed.

-----

On my website, providing information to third parties is out of scope.

The purpose is "private interest".

In addition, it's not annoying to anyone else because I published my memo.

However, it may have been a nuisance when I recently wrote a disinformation in the "COCOA" app.

At that time, an outsider pointed me out by email, which was very helpful.

-----

Anyway, if I leave a note like this, I can brag about "I was a good person and was predicting the future" as at the beginning.

Of course, there are a lot of predictions that I missed, however, I'm deliberately silent about that.

Yesterday, I went to vote in the Tokyo gubernatorial election before the deadline.

I got to the polling station 30 minutes before the end (5:00 p.m.), so it was pretty crowded.

From an infection risk perspective, it was a bad activity, I guess.

-----

Now, as I've already said many times about elections,

"Again, there were no candidates to talk with numbers"

There were candidates who only screamed about budget and number of people, but none of them had spec-out their "effects."

"Effect of infection rate control on budget input"

"Effect of business closure on the input of subsidies"

とか、

or

"Source of these budgets and subsidies (national budget, taxes, etc.)"

After all, I could not hear the above stroies.

-----

Well, in a sense, "no story" is natural. Because they know

"If they calculate properly (maybe even without calculation), people will not get the effect corresponding to the investment"

Or maybe they think, "If I win, the rest will be done later."

For the time being, “to speak concrete numbers” is the biggest contraindication for candidates.

-----

Then, for seniors like me, the points to choose are "I don't want to think about troublesome things" and "I don't want to bet on something new."

This is as I wrote before, "the essence of global warming countermeasures is to avoid "troublesome"."

-----

And the most important point is "I don't care of future Japan and young people at all"

Securing my old age by exhausting the resources of this country and the youth of this country-this is my only concern.

-----

So, it's raining and the risk of infection is scary.

If you're not interested in politics, especially the younger generation, don't go to vote and "Stay Home", today.

I had a conversation with my wife in the car the other day.

Ebata: "The other day at Youtube University with Professor Atsuhiko Nakata..."

Wife: "Hmm, "Professor" Atsuhiko Nakata"

She ridiculed me a little, however, but I have a habit of respecting anyone who I have respected.

-----

There seems to be various criticisms of Mr. Atsuhiko Nakata's lecture on YouTube.

I can also point out some mistakes regarding technical lectures.

Moreover, Mr. Atsuhiko Nakata's lecture is basically an introduction of the contents of other people's books.

In that sense, it may be said that 懼Atsuhiko Nakata's originality is small.懼・

-----

However, taking these into consideration, Mr. Atsuhiko Nakata's lecture includes

(1)Speaking skills that keep me focused on the 20-30 minute lecture

(2)Summary potential to explain with only one white board

(3)Information compression technology that narrows the points of the lecture to about five

(4)Comparative technology that clears issues from a unique perspective (e.g., fitting of current people, politics, common sense, etc.)

like all presentation methods.

As a researcher, I can learn the excellent presentation methods, needless of the contents of the lectures.

-----

In addition,

80% to 90% of the lecture content is correct (considering from what I understand (technical field))

This is a surprisingly high number for a non-specialist presentation.

The reason why I find "surprisingly high" is clear (to me) compared to the cruelty of the content written by humans, who are also known as "tech writers".

And the overwhelming value of Prof. Atsuhiko Nakata's youtube university is

"Let me want to know more"

This will be one point.

-----

Professor Atsuhiko Nakata's YouTube University is just a "chance".

From there, the value of this lecture is going to finish, by starting your studies with your own interests.

At present, the entire Kyushu area is suffering from record-breaking downpours.

I was getting anxious too, so I tried the "stackable hazard map" that was introduced on TV the other day.

Luckily, our house was not in the flood, mudslide or tsunami damage area.

That doesn't mean, though, that I can't escape the threat of earthquake-induced collapses, fires, and other disasters.

-----

My parents were victims of Typhoon Ise Bay, which submerged their house.

Since then, the Ebata family motto has been "Build up our residence higher than the watering hole".

My current home is also on higher ground.

I just measured the place with a GPS logger and Google Earth and found it to be at 72 meters above sea level.

-----

I was looking at the "stackable hazard map" and I noticed that there was something about a band of red areas that spread out in a band.

When I zoomed in a bit, I was surprised to see that almost all of the area around the Tama River is a flood warning area.

I checked the entire Tokyo area and found that the basins of the Iruma River, Arakawa River, and Edogawa River are almost completely red.

Much of Tokyo's 23 wards are painted in red, and the size of that red area is not even comparable to Kyushu.

It's no wonder that this "flood of rivers," which has been endless for over 10 million years, has created the vast Kanto Plain.

Not only the Kanto plains, but all the major cities in Japan that have plains where the population is concentrated are all designated as first-class flood designated areas.

-----

Just by visually observing the area of the hazard map,

"If a heavy rain like this one hits the Tokyo metropolitan area, the damage area will be lightly over 100 times"

I could make an unforeseen prediction.

In the first place, I am afraid that

- Once the war begins, within a few minutes after the war begins, multiple missiles (those with warheads) will fall

- A large earthquake leaves victims in the order of millions of people

- a viral infection spreads in the shortest time,

into the metropolitan area.

-----

However, I have no intention to say "What you should do", "what I should do"

Now I'm standing in a place where the chances of "substantially distressing", "intolerable suffering" and "inhuman death" are much higher than in other places. -

I thought it would be better to be prepared for that.

Lately, there has been a lot of content about "otherworldly reincarnation".

"What the hell is he thinking in his life?"

You can get a rough idea of this in a 980-yen "geopolitical book", sold at a convenience store.

It is a fact that most state policies are determined solely by the 'physical location (latitude and lightness)' of the state and its neighbors.

Recently, I have been writing a series of articles on quantum computers.

At the heart of a quantum computer is the qubit, which is characterized by having two states at the same time.

This seems to be due to the fact that Mynavi (a human resources advertising company) started a job-hunting information service with featuring Doraemon (the hero of the most popular Japanese manga).

On this page, it says, "Doraemon's secret tool, "Door to everywhere", is used to depict job hunters who are opening each door and moving forward into the future".

-----

When I observe her carefully, I can see that job hunting is a tough day for the job-seekers.

From my point of view, the process of activity seems to be at the edge of irrational, unreasonable and inefficient.

For job hunting, they are

- creating an "unlikely personality",

- falsifying "history of the past that does not exist",

- arranging the entrustment of "unexpected follow-up"

I sincerely sympathize with them that such stress would be an unbearable pain.

However, to some extent, it can be said that "creation", "tampering", and "consignment" are essential skills for working people.

It is certain that it will be very difficult to live in the future society without these skills.

The other day I tried to send a LINE "stamp" to a family group and it failed.

I sent another one (the URL of a website with a stamp) to my family.

My family kept going through the story until I mentioned it for my fault.

Their kindness hurt me.

-----

I think both emoticons and stamps are excellent tools for expressing our feelings in text messages.

Specifying out your emotions is a tedious task.

However, it is also true that I thought "emoticons and stamps as tools to help them easy".

However, the other day, when I heard such a story from my daughter, I am re-recognizing.

------

Daughter (oldest daughter): "When I was in high school, I had a friend who was furious when she saw the stamps she got sent.

Ebata: "Well"

Daughter: "The stamp sent by her junior contained the words "Good morning!"

Ebata: "Hmm... so?"

Daughter: " "Good morning" to her senior is terrible rude. She should send me a stamp saying "Good morning. How is everything?""

I was surprised to hear that story.

I didn't think there was a "protocol" in the "line stamp content", not before using "line stamp" or not.

Speaking of which, I used to write that my wife is also careful about the "number" of emoticons.

-----

I realized that my recognition that "emoticons and stamps as tools to help them easy" must be completely changed.

Members of Parliament have the right to not have to be held accountable for what they say (criminal and civil penalties ) is guaranteed (Article 51 of the Constitution).

Our nation's highest-ranking decision-making council, the "Diet" (or more accurately, the council that makes laws), is notorious for its horrible field trips.

As you know, the sexual harassment relationship is particularly bad. From my point of view as an engineer, I sometimes think that the misunderstanding of technology (not "historical perception" but "technological perception") is terrible.

Nevertheless, I think Article 51 of the Constitution is a very important rule.

-----

I did some research and it seems that there is no provision for official language in parliament.

If this is the case, then members of the Diet do not have to speak "Japanese" in the Diet.

It doesn't matter what language you speak.

Nevertheless, if it's not Japanese, if it's a language that has been adopted into the "compulsory education" of "our country" and has been studied for at least 6 years and up to 12 years, then from a socially accepted perspective, I think it's okay to be allowed to use that language.

Then, by the Chairman's authority,

"Right now, I'm going to change the language from Japanese to English"

I think they can declare that.

At the very least, there doesn't seem to be any law that makes this illegal.

How about if the yapping is so bad that the Speaker can declare a change in the official language, when the decency of the parliament has deteriorated.

I think that this one rule - even if we don't invoke that declaration - would drastically reduce the number of people yapping in the field.

Because if the person who is yapping is suddenly silent, he or she should be ashamed of themselves.

-----

Article 51 of the Constitution shall be observed. The dignity of Parliament would be kept. Moreover, a strong incentive for the Japanese to teach English would be provided.

I would like to ask you to consider this.

If I look at marriage ads, I see a lot of talk about "conscious men" and "women who want to be high-income men".

Well, I'm sure there are some people who do, but I think it's a small number.

Apparently, that was not only my subjective view, but also my objective view.

Here's the case that they even organized a camp to discourage me from getting married.

"A man who keeps quiet about his wife's cooking when it's good and only complains about it when it's bad". It seems to me that it was around the end of the Showa era that such a man began to be publicly criticized.

Japanese people are decisively lacking in the ability to "praise excellent results", or it seems that our country does not have an educational process of "praise".

(Continuation from yesterday)

For researchers and engineers, it is extremely stressful to make "what you can make or not".

Above all, "we can't know to make".

However, if you "know what you can do", the stress will drop to less than 1/100.

Because "I know there is a goal at the end of my hard work."

In Japan, I don't know the reason, however there is no concept of "respect" or "support" for this "what we don't know if we can do it".

Many ordinary people, like us, cannot even "silently overlook" those who are taking on such challenges --- even though we do not have a disadvantage at all.

What is a genius?

It's not enough to "bear" these radical, negative criticisms, but to "turn a deaf ear" and "not be heard

Lately, I've been participating in frequent brainstorming (BS) sessions to create ideas for inventions.

When it comes to invention creation, there is an unspoken rule of "no negative comments" in the middle of the BS.

One of the reasons is that in order to create an invention, "destruction" of the current paradigm of common sense is a prerequisite.

(2) More than half of the stations in Japan have a maximum temperature of over 40 degrees Celsius for 20 straight days → How do we treat tens of thousands of heatstroke patients a day, in tens of thousands of orders, by means other than medical equipment?

(3) A world where the fertility rate has fallen to 0.5 → What are the methods of raising and educating children in a world where the existence of children is rare?

And, well, thinking about the world of extremes in this way helps us to see the "challenges".

"Invention" is not hard. What is really hard is to find the "problem that requires the invention".

It is true that.

(Continuation from yesterday)

I've been saying this for a long time now, but the other thing I could say about this,

"many people are hopelessly lacking in the sense of system configuration"

I know the reason pretty clearly.

'They don't make/can't make things' -- this is one choice.

If you have time reading "how to books" and attending lectures on "information engineering" and "how to build systems"

You can get 100 times more knowledge if you "create a poor app by yourself using a Raspberry Pi on the weekend."

"Writing 100 lines of code without sleeping" is 100 times faster than them.

In the first place, it's hard for me to think that a person who doesn't/can't make things can imagine the technical difficulty in their mind.

-----

Well, even a person who uses only PowerPoint and Word can make event plans and business models.

However, I don't think that a person who does or cannot make things can invent.

An invention is a "creation of a technical idea" (Patent Law Article 1).

A technical idea is devised from experience through a technical approach, that is, "the experience of making things."

Those involved in the work of patented inventions, self-proclaimed an engineer Just using PowerPoint and Word are

"it's worse than a cashless person".

I think.

I just don't speak that, because,

I'm an office worker.

I've talked about our FM transmitter before.

I received an email from a reader who gave me a lot of advice on this matter.

It's getting harder and harder to explain our FM transmitter installation environment just in writing, so I've sent the following free-hand drawing as an attachment of my e-mail.

I have always wondered, why other people can communicate their thoughts to others, without specing them out (writing them out) on the whiteboard.

At least, I cannot "understand" or even "pretend to understand" other person's ideas that aren't speced out.

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

Let's turn over the world by number (64). Extra:

"A forefront of corona infection battle" sent by the doctor to me as an engineer

This is the longest column I've ever written.

(Step 1) Ebata read the email sent by Dr. Shibata

(Step 2) Ebata looks up all the technical terms in Shibata-sensei's e-mails to understand them.

(Step 3) Ebata makes changes and additions to phrases to explain, makes drawings, and forwards them to Dr. Shibata via email.

(Step 4) After Dr. Shibata reads it, he adds phrases and drawings to clear up Ebata's misunderstanding and provide accurate explanations, and forwards them to Ebata.

This process was repeated for several days between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Ebata forwarded the final edition by e-mails to Ms.M, who was in charge of editing, she took this massive amount of text and edited it into a public page in just two days. and asked both Dr. Shibata and Ebata to do a final check on that,

However, Dr. Shibata and Ebata (without giving a straightforward go-ahead), furthermore, conducted Step 2 through Step 5 again.

After final proofreading by Ms.M, it was finally released today at 6:30 p.m.

-----

And now that I've cooled down and re-read it, I come to think

"It's a complete work of art with an aura, as if "something had taken over" everyone involved"

I think one of those something was "an unprecedented increase in the number of new corona cases in the last week or so".

However, I just feel that everyone, especially I, has lost our cool and "forgot about the readers".

-----

I'm deeply sorry.

However, we believe that we have described the very important things that people in Japan need right now.

So, please read this work, even if you read "headlines only".

For headlines only, there are only 13 lines.

There was a third anniversary of my father's death the other day, and after discussing it with my sister, I decided not to attend.

I made a comprehensive assessment of the risk of infection while traveling to my parents' home and the behavior of the people I was traveling to (and the concerns of the locals).

I think that the biggest reason was

"My personal lack of awareness about weddings and funerals"

Decisions regarding weddings and funerals are very different, depending on the country, the region, and even the religion, depending on the denomination.

Those decisions are often complicated, but I believe they are important triggers for triggering events related to geographical and blood ties.

More than that, if the event can give peace of mind to a living person, it's a good thing.

To wisely complain about such an event is unwise.

And, well, I can do "adult responses and ideas"

In fact, I'm an adult, and I need to stop acting as a youthful indiscretion.

But in a situation like this one, a corona disaster, such "adult responses and ideas" are easily withdrawn in the face of "rational thinking (risk calculation)".

(Continuation from yesterday)

It's different in ideology and direction from weddings and funerals. however, there are some cult groups in Japan that say stupid things like "we can beat the coronary disaster by faith and rituals".

I have no more words to say about their "incompetence".

Also, in the world, at least two gurus who have performed such missions have died from COVID-19 infections (even I know).

For them, I don't have any feeling of compassion, mourning at all.

Rather, I think that such gurus and followers may be identified as "terrorists."

Nevertheless, I am unwilling to call the idiots spreading the bullshit that "you can beat the corona disaster by faith and ritual" a "bioterrorist".

----

So, here's one new social evil to define "incompetence", and I would like to suggest that we call the cult groups that disseminate such ignorant doctrines

"incompetent terrorists".

As a time travel freak, Ebata-san, Steins Gate/Zero and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time are sure things.

(If you haven't watched these two pieces of content yet, come back to my chat room backyard later.)

In the last scene of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, I've enjoyed watching many people argue over the interpretation of Chiaki's words to Makoto: "I'm waiting in the future.

So, I thought we could do another story like this.

-----

Makoto goes into science to build a time machine, and she study abroad and get a job with a SERN.

Makoto, who has become the project leader, monitors the world's networks and hacks into Okabe's emails at the Gadget Research Institute in Akihabara.

From the beginning, Makoto, who has no interest in SERN's global domination, reaches out to Chris, who is studying abroad in the United States, and leads Okabe to develop a time machine.

She becomes a member of the Rabomen and assists Okabe in developing a time machine while fending off an attack from SERN.

Makoto wishes to ride in a prototype time machine, however she secretly changes the future date and time of the target's arriva

The altered setting twists time and space in the future, resulting in an explosion that decimates the city. The world, which had been stable in the Steinsgate worldline, is plunged into World War III, and that war burns down the "painting" that Chiaki wanted to see

Makoto attempts another timeline to fix this altered future.

I've been called that when I was on the company's tennis team.

In fact, at my wedding, a friend (junior) gave me this speech as well.

I were talking about it at dinner today, however,

Wife: "At the wedding ceremony, I almost said "Excuse me?" in my mind.

Second Daughter: "I think the people around my dad (researcher) have the wrong idea of "love".

Ebata: "In the old days, there was an event where two lovers would say, 'Ahhhh' and carry the food to each other's mouths with their own chopsticks...

Or rather, I think even the "grandchildren" or even the "marriage" of the daughters before that is a quantum state -- "0 cat", "1 cat".

Still, I think I'm in a much more respectable position being in a "Quantum superposition" state at the moment, than I was at the time,

Maybe the problems will be "coherence time" of my daughter, my wife and me.

The conference secretariat has adopted my conference paper and I am now preparing materials for the conference presentation.

If you are presenting at a conventional conference, you usually go to the venue where the conference is held, take the stage, and present your work.

However, due to the corona disaster, most of the presentations at the conference are now all "video images + web exhibition".

In other words,

The concept of a conference hall is eliminated, and there is no need to speak at the conference. Naturally, you won't have to worry about making a mistake in your presentation.

No more real time spoken English question and answer sessions. The alternative is to write on a bulletin board (text).

-----

"How marvelous this is!"

I think that.

That's what I'm advocating in this column.

First principle: don't "have" a topic that would require discussion in English.

Second principle: don't "create" a topic that would require discussion in English.

Third principle: "Don't let them bring in" topics that would require discussion in English.

It is the realization of a world where none of this is necessary.

-----

If the corona disaster continues indefinitely -- for our country, which has a large population of "Engineer not loved by English", this might be,

The pyramid scheme focuses on having those who make that retail sale spelled out (written out).

What they spell out is not only the goal (quota), but also the policy of the group

"I have no value. It's the company that gives me value"

The pyramid scheme gimmickers make them chant it over and over again, have them write it out on a piece of paper, and then stick it on the wall.

This is really a reasonable "brainwashing".

The effectiveness of brainwashing will not increase if giving them information from the outside.

Brainwashing works by getting people to transmit information in their own words and letters.

Aside from that.

-----

Conference presentations are often done as company business (quota).

Since this is a quota, we may present research results even if we think we weren't good at them or weren't satisfied with the results.

But, of course, we can't just say, "we didn't do well" on a paper or in a presentation.

The competence of the researcher will be tested by "how to express this (without lying)".

-----

Now, in the run-up to the conference, I have to revise and rewrite my paper and presentation materials many times, and then practice my presentation.

If I am going to present in English, I have to come up with the shortest, most complete and understandable expressions possible.

Moreover, I have to be make a reasonable story, that is not broken down logically.

This is repeated over and over again.

This is actually a great "brainwashing" process.

-----

I rewrite papers more than 10 times, presentation materials more than 20 times, and practice presentations (especially if they are in English) more than 30 times.

So much for repetition.

"There is value in this research. The company has given me that opportunity."

I will come to trust that feeling.

Thus, the researcher completes his or her own brainwashing.

-----

In summary, conference and research presentations are, in essence, "self-washing machines".
