我が家では、今、ＢＳのディズニーチャンネルで放送されている、「ミッシング」というドラマが、熱いブームになっています。

In my home, we have started a boom the TV program "Missing" in BS Disney channel.

この番組は、息子を誘拐された母親が、各国の諜報機関と敵対し、あるいは丸め込みながら、息子の救出を図ろうとするストーリーです。

The story is that a mother, whose son was kidnapped, is at war or cooperates with intelligence organization of several countries and tries to save the son.

息子の学校でＰＴＡの役員をやっていた単なる母親が、実は１０年前、ＣＩＡの凄腕エージェントだった（実際に、息子の救出の為なら、エージェントの殺害も辞さない）―― というところのギャップが、なんとも言えずに、迫力があるのです。

The mother, who has worked at PTA for her son, had a go-getter CIA agent in her youth, and she never hesitates to kill opponent agents.

The gap is very attractive and and tremendous impact for my family member.

この番組を見ながら、家族で話していた時のことです。

At the time we chatted with watching TV.

長女：「パパとママには、こういう話はないの」

"Do you have a similar old story like that for two you?"

私：「ママは、昔、企業の研究所を狙う、産業スパイだったんだ」

"In fact, mom was an industrial espionage and had her sights on company properties."

嫁さん：「ずいぶん古い話だねえ」

"An old story, it is"

私：「パパが、自前の追跡システムが、カメラとGPSでママを徹底的に追いつめて、最終的に捕えたんだ」

"I checked mom with my chasing system with camera and GPS monitoring, and finally mom was captured by me"

次女：「ふーん、そんで」

"And?"

私：「『この仕事をやめて、パパと結婚してくれたら、見逃してもいい』とパパのオファを、ママが受けたんだ」

"I proposed mom to stop the jobs and get married to me. If mom accepted this offer, I give up telling the police about this crime".

次女；「結構、大変な出会いだったんだね」

"Oh, it is a dramatic story."

私：「ところで、ママ。もう『仕事』やっていないよな。最近バイトをたくさん入れているようだけど」

"Recently I think you do part-time work continually, surely you don't restart your old work again"

嫁さん：「ないしょ」

"It is secret."
