My birthday is November 1st.

If someone set my birthday party at October 31th selfishly,

I bet I will get mad with him/her.

Though the man was dead more than 2000 years ago, we should make fun of him too much.

I do blame any person who makes a noise at December 24th because it is too shameless.

The Ebata's couple had been graduated from the amazing colleges whose indispensable subject was science of religion.

Yesterday, December 24th, I went back home after doing my works in a sloppy way.

It was very cold night with chill wind.

On the way to the nearest train station, two persons were selling Christmas cake and fried chickens on the ad-hoc desks in the parking lots.

Thought the clerks seemed to be apparently college students, the figures shouting “How do you going for a cake?" was, how to say,

Pitiful.

I don't care what they thought working at Christmas Eve day, (In my generation case, we had been really foolish absolutely).

Anyway, though they are not sympathized against all generations, I thought

"Let me get a cake to reduce inventories with sorry"

If they were old men or women, or junior school students, I absolutely would buy one.

-----

The business strategy "A girl who sells packets of matches" is the strongest business model, and it causes demand to consumers without buying inclination.

I fully realized the above.

A few days ago, a colleague called me

"Ebata-san, why were you in "Nakamoto" yesterday?"

"I don't eat "Hokkyoku-ramen" everyday"

-----

- Now "Hokkyoku-ramen" is not a special ramen for me.

- I don't have to order a rice bowl as a chaser, and I can finish off the soup.

Though I thought the above, I felt actual pain at the five hundred meters from the last station on my commuting route.

I calculated the distances to both my house and the station, and I decided to go back to the station with wiggling my hips.

If I move my body badly, the catastrophe was going to happen.

After fierce battle for half an hour in the cold restroom like a refrigerator, I called my wife to pick me up to the station.

If I said "My condition is going to be bad because of "Hokkyoku-ramen"", my wife's parts of compassion become to disappear at all.

So I decided to told her

"The hard work has run me down" (It is a true story)

But when I get in the car, her first words were

"You don't say "Hokkyoku" do you?"

and, she pressed me for an answer, and made me confess all.

-----

The restroom was cold, though, the car was also too cold at that time.

Today, a new column is released, so I take a day off.

"Let's turn the world by "Number" Diet (23)

"Can I explain diet by "a transitional phenomenon?"

-----

In this column, my comment,

The junior fellow who appeared in this column, said

"Why did you write something of calculation failure in your column ?"

has existed.

Last year, when my wife and senior daughter went back to wife's home town, I asker senior daughter to install a wireless LAN access point. However, it didn't work at all.

For example, in my case, ten seconds was enough for me to set up the system, but many mails and calls were needed to explain to her about the process. Finally we didn't do it very well.

This was not her fault. The reason is that she doen't know the knowledges of network.

Most people don't know the mechanism of network, and there is no problem for them not to know them, because they can use network services.

-----

To begin with, there are tremendous difference between "use" and "construction".

Just for home LAN construction, a lot of knowledges and experiments of network are needed, and just my instructions are not enough to complete the work.

For example.

situational confirmation by blinking LED of an access point,

performance confirmation by command "ping" from PC,

system configuration confirmation by IP address, Subnet address and gateway address,

such the above process, which are self-apparent for me, must be very difficult for others.

The other day, I wrote that I went to the play of "Theater company Caramel Box".

At the encore time, the actor who played the leading character, asked us about advertisements of this stage.

A small theatrical group like us, must depend on your WOM(Word of mouth)s.

I hope you will spread this stage out by SNS.

And he continued,

"Twitter.. with a function, called something"

When he choked his words, the next actor whispered to him,

"Well, I know, "Hash..", "Hash tag" is it right? With it, please spread this stage out!"

He provoked laughter in the theater with a stammer.

-----

At the drinking party, my wife asked us.

Wife:"What is Hash tag?"

Both senior daughter(SD) and I tried to explain about it simply, however, it was difficult for an inexperienced person.

Ebata:"The actor seems to be young, but, he is not familiar to "SNS", so I feel friendly to him."

However, both my wife and daughter put on an appearance of "What does he say?".

-----

SD:"It was just a performance, to catch audience attention"

If so said, it surely seems that there were many seniors and families accompanied in the theater.

Wife: "For two generations younger people than you, there is no reason not to know such a thing?"

I think so with thinking deeply.

-----

If the leading character played "an actor who does not understand SNS well"

"it was the best acting on the this stage"

I would like to have great praise.

-----

As for me, I still can not believe "acting", however, I don't think that

"Let's ask "Theater company Caramel Box".

Please do not worry.

(Continuation from yesterday)

This is a story of a certain employee of a certain private company.

He has been saying that he can not speak English since he was young.

He was ordered to go abroad alone, to convoke members of standards bodies, to plan a meeting and to make him the host of the meeting.

Whatever I thought, it was a pretty messy instruction(even if it was not a power harassment).

However, he had no choice but to obey the business order - he thought like that.

He thought that was a salaried worker ... not a soldier.

-----

So, I would like to propose to the current Mr. Prime Minister, my lord.

Currently, there is a "working reform" in policies of my lord.

And there is also "acceptance of foreign workers".

Resolving the both problems,

Welcomed from the people,

Maintaining the approval rating of the Cabinet,

Securing long-term administration,

If it goes well, it may be possible to take the constitutional amendment,

I would like to provide a new concept of "skeleton" of the current cabinet for my lord.

It is, "the elimination of all English language education"

I go to work in the morning and walk for 25 minutes to the station, eating "dorayaki" as breakfast.

I think that there is a problem of nutritional balance, however, I have no appetite in the morning.

And "Dorayaki" guarantee easy to eat texture, moderate sugars, avoidance of hunger, and the calorie of the morning job.

-----

However, this morning I was in trouble because there was no stock of Dorayaki.

When I looked at the kitchen, I found a loaf of local bread that my second daughter bought for a souvenir on a date.

I grabbed the bread, shredded it to a fist-sized size, and left the door with my hand.

Then, I went to the station while eating the bread with one hand.

I guess it was like a primitive man, eating raw meat and looking for the next prey.

-----

However, this is , in so-called girl manga and classic anime

"a girl who goes to school while running while holding a toast"

that is same in that paradigm.

-----

At 500 meters from my house, there is an integrated school in elementary, middle and high schools.

On the sidewalk, I passed about 100 girl students and boy students.

However, a romance did not occur.

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

Dancing Buzzword - Behind the Buzzword (9) Blockchain(3)

Japan's premier blockchain is the world's longest-running system

-----

This time, unusually, I touched on Japanese mythology, but of course, I knew nothing about Japanese mythology.

To be honest, I know more about the Old Testament and the New Testament (somewhat).

So, I referred to the instruction book this time.

This is the book.

I love this book so much, I brought it into the bathroom and I think I have reread it about 100 times already.

Thanks to this book, I fell in love with the stories of Kojiki and Japanese mythology.

-----

I was running around and taking pictures all over Izumo Taisha.

In particular, the model of the ancient main shrine of Izumo Taisha (which was four times as tall as the current one, about 96 meters (hypothetical)) and the remains of the "Ancient Main Shrine Heart Pillar" that formed the basis for the model in the Treasure Hall -- honestly, I was shaken.

I also enjoyed the Shimane Prefectural Museum of Ancient Izumo History. The "Bronzes and Golden Daggers" was particularly impressive.

In addition, this may sound like bad taste, but I love to read other people's Ema(votive tablets).

The Ema (votive picture tablet) at Izumo Taisha, the "largest matchmaking shrine in Japan," was full of "outrageous descriptions" as I expected.

-----

This time, I developed the theory that "the Emperor System = Credit System". Even without such a story, Japanese mythology is "pretty cool content"

I quite like the fact that the Japanese gods (the emperor's ancestors) were quite "clunky".

When you visit a shrine on New Year's Day, just knowing which deity is worshipped there will amplify your enjoyment many times over.

Tomorrow, I'm going back home to help my mother transfer to the hospital.

Since snowfall is predicted, I am thinking of a backup plan.

That aside.

Today, the temperature rose at noon, so I took the opportunity to clean the exhaust fan.

This has already been a routine process, so I was able to crunch through it.

A few liters of oil (used for 8 years) is poured into a tray and the exhaust fan parts are thrown into the tray and washed.

This has already been a routine process, so I was able to crunch through it.

These gloves are especially "motivating" for the depressing task of cleaning the exhaust fan.

I'm glad that I can put my hand into the oil.

It seems that "cleaning around the ventilation fan" has become a target for media outlets to gain viewership.

Even in the Ebata family, my wife has acquired these know-hows and is 'passing them on to me'.

"No problem if my wife cleans the exhaust fan"

However, cleaning the exhaust fan has the advantage of exempting me from other cleaning tasks, so well, it's an exchange condition.

Also, for some reason, making New Year's cards is my job.

However, my daughters have already stopped making New Year's cards, and I have changed to a "ping server" approach, sending New Year's cards at the beginning of the year.

That is why I am forced to check my wife's friendships (within the scope of her New Year's cards) only once a year.

I bought a DVD (used) of the theater group Caramel Box on Amazon.

So, the DVD arrived today -- and I realized that I do not have a DVD player in my house.

To be precise, it "is" there, but I can't connect it because the TV I bought this year does not have a VCR interface.

More to the point, there are HDMI->AV converters, but I don't have the reverse direction (AV->DMI), and I know from experience that analog->digital conversion has poor image quality.

It's a hassle, but I think I'll have to rip it from the DVD and show it on my laptop.

This is the downside of Amazon Prime and NetFlix.

Yesterday, I was working while playing the anime "Youjo Senki."

Episode 8, "Trial by Fire," depicts a campaign of extermination (massacre) against an entire city, using as its legal basis the construction of a legal logic that allows ground warfare in the city, including non-combatant civilians, to eliminate the resistance (militia) that has hidden in the city.

(Don't be cheated by the name "Youjo Senki." That is highly sophisticated political fiction, written about war strategy and tactics, politics, economics, law, and technology.)

Incidentally, I had noticed that the story was based on the "bombing of Dresden" by the U.S. and British Allied forces.

The "Bombing of Dresden" refers to the massive air raid on the German city of Dresden (commonly known as the "Pearl of the Elbe").

The raid devastated the city of Dresden, killing many of its citizens and making the event a controversial war crime.

Incidentally, this story ("Trial by Fire") is not about the Israeli army's invasion of the Gaza Strip -- but it is the same story.

-----

'Is there such a legal loophole (combat that allows civilians to be killed as collateral damage)?' I asked ChatGPT.

(omitted)

And thus, I was scolded by ChatGPT.

As a follow-up, ChatGPT gave me a lot of information when I asked for specific examples of laws prohibiting the killing of non-combatants (civilians) as collateral damage in urban warfare.

This will be developed at a later date.

-----

Still, to think that at least that and that country are engaged in an ongoing battle/war that (1) is prohibited by numerous international laws and (2) would be scolded by the generating AI (ChatGPT),

"Wouldn't world domination by AI still be better?"

I think it is a good idea.
