「専門の業者に頼んで、実証実験の記録動画(映画)を残す」という、私の与り知らぬ ――

My unknown project, "making a video recording (movie) of a demonstration experiment with a professional contractor," was underway.

いや、正確に言うと、関わらないように逃げ回っていた ――

To be precise, I was running away from the projct.

そういう企画が走っていました。

「逃げ回っていた報い」なのかもしれませんが、本当にタイミング悪く、撮影当日「運転手役」をやることになってしまいました。

It may be "reward that was running around". It was really bad timing, so I decided to play the role of "driver" on the day of shooting.

私は、「最初の映像の中に入ってしまえば、後で交代ができなくなる」ということを、見落してたのです。

I overlooked, "once I get inside the first footage, I won't be able to change later."

それにしても、映画を撮影するって、本当に大変なんですね。

Still, shooting a movie is really hard.

■対向車が来たので、取り直し

Retake because the oncoming vehicle came

■歩行者が横断したので、取り直し

Retake as pedestrians cross

■車の停車位置がずれたので、取り直し

Retake because the car's parking position has shifted

■乗車、降車客のパターンを変えて、取り直し

Retake by changing the pattern of getting on and off passengers

とまあ、平均7回のリテイクを、場所を変えて3パターンの運転のやりなおしをさせられて、

Well, on average, 7 retakes, 3 places in different places,

―― 5時間ぶっつづけの運転で、心底、疲れ果てました

"After 5 hours of driving, I was really exhausted"

今回、プロのモデル(役者？)さんも3人ほど参加されたのですが、体の態勢を変えないまま、ずっと待ち続ける姿は、「さすがはプロ」と感心していました。

This time, about three professional models (actress and actors) also participated, but I was impressed that they waited for a long time without changing their body posture.

# 途中で「トイレに行きたい！」 と言い張ったのは、私だけでした。

On the way, I was the only one who insisted, "I want to go to a restroom!"

この撮影の前日には、上長と同僚が議論を戦わせている風を装おう「やらせ」の撮影もあったそうです。

On the day before this shoot, I heard that there was also a photo shoot of "fake", where the superior and colleagues are arguing and fighting.

それはそれで、大変だっただろうと思います。

I think it would have been hard.
