2010-12-10 JMI(心の定期健康診断)

================================

================================

■ Twitter

In my serialized column, there is a phase that,

"Tomoichi Ebata was a conceited jerk"

To tell you the truth, I wrote a different phase in the draft edition.

"I was so stupid (by Sayaka Miki)"

-----

I incurred the wrath of my daughter, who was the second grade of junior high.

She thought that this phase must insult the spirit of "Madoka Magica".

She shouted "write it up immediately”, threatening not to provide any illustration more.

-----

Though I always stick to my first edition and seldom change the contents of my works, I couldn't help obey my daughter's command at that time.

I heard the presentations that the three persons who were awarded Novel prize.

I thought that these were wonderful and excellent presentation.

----

I thought that the presentations were very similar to the English we has used in general.

As for at least us as the engineers, we are not conscious of pronunciation anything of the Ls and Rs which a Japanese English teacher minds pathologically. I do not mind even intonation.

We keep English conversations even if a strange phrase happens (If not, we cannot finish our tasks), we speak same phrases again and again, if we cannot understand the questions.

I think that the most important thing is to use English itself, to have an intention for English communication.

----

I said the above again, again and again, but someone don't want to understand it.

"Japanese English"

According to my column "a concept of Japanese English", some persons insist on saying "he cannot make any job with his English"

"So, what were I going to do abroad?"

"Wasn't that work"

Why do they want to believe me, even I keep saying "no problem"?

I doubt whether they have some reasons not to believe me.

----

I think that number of people cannot understand that communication is a kind of continuous feedback system.

If we misuse an opposite meaning "Yes/No", and we skip to use definite articles, any misunderstanding becomes to coverage with flameout.

A belief that a perfect understanding of the phrase by just one time, keeps us away from English.

In addition to this, the belief is strengthened by the system of entrance examination of Japan, and TOEIC, whose styles are "just one time" way.

Thus, our country becomes completed as "the system which does not let us speak English".

The standard serif after drinking party,

"Well, Don't worry, Leave me alone. I am not drunken at all"

When I often use the serif, my junior coworkers complains.

"Ebata-san, Please stop "the performance of drunken""

I have a lot of guys around me, thought I don't need them(I thank them).

-----

At that time, it is really that I am drunken, however they look at me as a cheap ham performer.

In fact, even if I am in drunken deeply, I seldom loose my mind and memory and being hair ball in my recollection.

-----

When I am really heavy drinking, I have no room to perform like the above.

Actually,

I am senseless sleeping in the restroom compartment

The December has come in this year too.

I don't ask anyone to come the month.

The year without December in several years is acceptable for me.

I am really serious.

(Continuation from yesterday)

SD: "Do it, before think it"

Well, I have tried "Hatsune Miku" and "Yukari Yuzuki" actually, so I could know various things. So I think that what the second daughter says is correct.

But someway, I have not been good at "game" since old day.

I used to work at a PC-shop when I was a college student.

One day, a senior woman who stood in the front of MSX PC, asked me

Woman:"This PC can translate English to Japanese automatically can't it?"

I was surprised to hear that, and I shouted "Are you kidding!" accidently.

After that, the store manager got up me for my service,

At year before last, I worked as a MC for a neighborhood summer festival.

At that time, I had trouble in operating audio goods.

Because I had to operate "cassette tape recorder".

This operation was, for example,

I had to rewind and eject a cassette in a slot with playing music by another cassette in another slot.

terrible messy and likely to fail to start the music.

Moreover, it was in vain and painful to practice the analog equipment operation, that I will use it after the event.

-----

To tell you the truth, the solution against the problem is very easy.

I will digitalize all the music in the cassettes.

After that, I will store the music files in a PC or smartphone, the above analog operations won't be needed at all.

I can choose the music title from a GUI of the display.

Making the backup files in several digital storages, we don't have to worry about degradation of the cassettes.

Even I thought the above actions, however, I stood aside from them. Because I was dismissed from the work this year.

In addition, at the next April, I will retire from the board, so I don't have to think about

-----

However, due to this analog digital shift problem, I think

"Surely, in the near future, someone will take a break"

Well, however, the problems of such areas should have always existed, changing their appearance.

So, certainly someone will do something.

"If I do not do it, someone will do it."

For riding on trains, I prefer to "have a seat" basically, even if there is no appointment,

For example, when I get home, I get on a regular train, not a limited express or express train.

So far, I haven't reached the age of "It's hard to keep standing up."

If I can sit down, I can write this (diary) on your laptop.

-----

Well, even if I cannot t sit down, it's fine as long as the car is free.

I'm not good at crowded trains.

I would rather take an empty train than a full train, even if I arrive late.

However, there are not many people like me.

This is because when I look inside a train, I rarely see people sitting in the same seat from the first station.

-----

I've been making serious proposals for a long time.

"For school units, company units, government units, and anything, the start time would be shifted by one hour on an annual basis."

I think it's a good measure, however the government doesn't try it.

I think there is no problem that department stores and bookstores start at noon, and pubs start at 3pm.

Do you have any problems with starting your school at 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 10 o'clock?

"Do you know what time the school starts?"

"I think it is nine"

The talk is enough.

Above all, the idea of working at the same time, was installed in order to increase the factory labor force after the industrial revolution.

Now that many sectors of the industry have shifted to the service sector, this working style has little meaning.

But, of course, this will guide the story of "no time to leave the child at the nursery school" and "no time to visit the business hours of customers".

-----

Perhaps the initial investment cost immediately after the change will be enormous, and there will always be resistance to doing the first thing.

To begin with, if we can do that, the concept of May GW, summer vacation, year-end and New Year holidays, etc. should have disappeared.

-----

But, the world can be as it is now.

I am doing a time shift life "alone-night".

A late morning train or a late night train is a comfortable study for me.

ここに

Now

- student's hoarse voice,

- aunt's hate stories,

- an uncle's preaching life to young people,

I feel happy at the bottom of my heart that I cannot hear the voices.

My evaluation of a person is "The person who can make things is the best"

The guy who draws a "conceptual picture" of something and feels working, is

maybe she/he might is really the "best" guy,

They cannot impress me.

-----

The person who draws the "concept picture" may have been someone I used to respect.

"It doesn't matter"

I think that.

My evaluation is always from my ongoing perspective.

I'm the kind of person who doesn't look back at the past, especially other people's past.

-----

But I guess it doesn't really matter to most people in the world how I'm regarded.

It is actually "me" who is in trouble.

I can't help but feel uncomfortable about orders from "people I can't respect".

Not only that, but when we hear trivial self-beliefs or good arguments that don't fit the situation, my zero motivation turns into a negative one.

Even if the "order" is legitimate, reasonable, and decent.

This is the essence of "narrow-mindedness" among my three major attributes of my three main attributes: shallow, narrow-mindness, and cowardly.

This attribute, by the way, is not "self-deprecation". It is a result of self-analysis based on an engineering approach.

-----

Narrow-mindedness is a disease.

If I want to treat this disease, I may be able to treat it.

However, I, the person in question, have no intention of treeating it.

Because "narrow-mindedness" is my personality.

It was this "narrow-mindedness" that allowed me to continue writing my column for more than eight years.

(If you reread my column from this perspective, I think the content will come easily to you.)

-----

My "narrow-mindedness" is both a weakness and a strength of mine.

I think I can choose to either continue to be "narrow-mindedness" or to stop being "narrow-mindedness".

But if I think about which one has advantages and which one is easier... No, I don't have to think about it.

My choice is clear.

(d) After receiving the money, please do not contact me, thank me, or copy the receipt at all (or rather, I do not want to hear from you).

You can think of it as a trade-off for the risk that Ebata will know your name and address.

-----

I will send it by regular mail (84 yen stamp, at Ebata's expense).

And then (and I hate this phrase), "Let me replace the announcement with the shipment."

Please wait for about a week, and if there is no offer, I will donate it here.

Needless to say, 'criticizing cults' is really a matter of life and death.

Recently, a university professor who had been making radical statements was attacked by thugs on campus (the connection to the cult is unknown at this time).

I also personally know someone who was shot at with an air rifle (I think the assailant was either from the Unification Church or the Tannisho Study Group).

-----

Cults cannot be countered with logic -- or rather, they are cults because they do not have proper logic.

It just can't be helped that 'cults can't explain their actions with logic.

It is only natural that something metaphysical, such as "love" or "God," should be incompatible with something physical science.

Religion is significant in that it continues to live on after being continually criticized by physical science.

It is not possible to "defend against criticism."

Hence, religions should behave like the followings.

"We have survived for more than 1,000 years with the support of the people, no matter what you say"

"You will be dead in less than 100 years and forgotten in a few days, so I don't give a damn about your opinion."

Like the above, religions are important not to move against any criticism. Well, if they can survive for more than 1,000 years.

-----

In my personal opinion--

If "cults continue to exist loosely in social life," then it seems disingenuous to attack them with logic.

Therefore, I basically do nothing about cults that do not come into my territory.

I will not start an argument (fight) with them.

However, I will buy "arguments (fights) that have been sold" and I do not intend to lose.

-----

What makes cult activities problematic is that cults engage in antisocial activities -- soliciting exorbitant donations, etc. -- in social life.

And if they involve my relatives or friends in such a situation, I will be sure that 'they sell me(Ebata) a fight here'.

If that happens -- regardless of whether it is metaphysical or physcal science , it will be all-out war.

-----

At one point in my student life, when I was out, I carried a tool that could be used as a weapon.

After knowing about the recent attack on a university professor, I am thinking about rearming...or rather, reattaching.

I am thinking of a "crowbar," which is inexpensive, readily available, and highly effective.

Even if I were attacked, I would want to strike back at least one blow, at the same level.

------

So -- please remember that even in these peaceful times, there is a senior who continues to hold on to the concept of "armed".

Especially those cult members who are considering "planning an attack on Ebata".

As a researcher studying methods for measuring social capital, I am interested in the question,

"What exactly would happen if we held a general election now?"

(*) A case of slush funds at 100 Diet members by a ruling party faction, commonly known as the "LDP Party Ticket Kickback Scandal. The case is said to be on the level of the recruiting case.

(1) want to do this kind of simulation,

(3) want to verify the answers

If we hold a general election now, we, the people, will be in trouble.

It will be this kind of election.

- To put it another way, it was an election, like which is better, "robbery," "fraud," or "pickpocketing."

- The election was not about "where is better," but "where would cause less damage."

We could witness an 'election where turnout is in the single digits.'
