Though I often hear the words "lunch alone" recently, I haven't known that the words is derogatory term.

I had never thought that "lunch alone" has another meaning more than "Eating lunch alone"

As far as I am concerned, time of "lunch alone" is "happiest moment" or "hour of bliss" because of reading book in a relaxed manner. It is like one more dish of lunch.

I think that "lunch with reading" is more accurate than "lunch alone".

As a result, "lunch with reading" become a same meaning of "lunch alone".

-----

The junior daughter takes over my preference at the level of DNA.

She is in the 6th grade of junior school, and read book (including manga-comics) anytime.

She read, read and read books, at both room, toilet and at any places.

"Well, I have been looked at from others." I was taught by her everyday.

I am afraid that "lunch with reading" is absolutely rude manner, especially rude against cook.

my wife gets mad with us naturally, so I never do "lunch with reading" in happy lunch and dinner time at home.

On the other hand, when both the daughter and I eat out, that seems to be a total turn-off for other people.

-----

The other day, both two had a lunch at the beef bowl chain store, and did "lunch alone" with reading book sedulously.

I felt pain with eye-shot. I thought the message "abuse" was included.

The only words the father gave the daughter in the lunch time were ,

"Press your book with a container of finely-chopped ginger, make your hands free"

After the lunch, I asked her

"How do you like this lunch?"

and she replied me soon.

"Terrific! Delicious! enjoy!! Let us come again!!"

-----

In conclusion, I want to say,

"Please make me(us) decided what my(our) happiness is"

The other day, when I was going to go to the dining room to eat dinner with a book, I was found by a junior.

A:"Ebata-san, are you going dinner?" Let's go together"

Ebata: "No. Because I read this book"

A:"Do you say that it is important to read a book than you eat a meal with me?"

Ebata: "Of course. Do you think it to be 1/100 of the value of this book to you? How impudent you are!"

A:"What do you read?"

Ebata: "This is the novel which handled a case of high treason"

A:"Was it the story of the His Majesty the Emperor Assassination plan in the Meiji era?"

Ebata: "Sort of. Anyway it is not your business."

A:"Then Ebata-san may read a book. Let's go to dinner together"

Ebata: "Nonsense"

A:"Do you hate eating with me?"

Ebata:" I hate eating with you at the bottom of my heart. Eat a meal alone"

A:"You are actually glad aren't you?"

Ebata: "Any person who eats up my two times a day of "the one meal paradise" is enemy. Get out quickly"

A:"How stubborn this old man is!"

Ebata: "How stupid this guy is! Do you have any good small talk that gives pleasure to me?"

A:"Of course, I have"

The next day,

Ebata:"Hey, watching A is your work isn't it? What are you doing? A was coming to destroy my "meal alone" yesterday"

B:"Really? Did he commit such a serious betrayal to Ebata-san?"

Ebata: "Why do you keep him loose? It is your responsibility"

B:"Such a his bestial wickedness for Ebata-San is beyond my imagination"

Ebata: "Well, I decided to forgive him only this time, because he donated one column topic. But if he do same thing without topics, I will..."

B:"Understood. You don't have to say it all"

When I told this above story to my daughters, they asked me "Was that a really conversation in the world".

It was almost a true story.

When I was a freshperson, the personal computer was expensive and the performance was low (from the current viewpoint.)

In that time, an administrator of the server machine was a longing job.

At the time, there was no concept of "PC server". The computer was called "Workstation". Many of the researchers were working from terminals of "Workstation" (which was called "X terminal" etc).

So, managing the server machine was a symbol of special efficient engineer among computer engineers, and it was no exaggeration to say that that was one of the status symbols.

I managed to become an administrator of the server somehow, and I did my best for being the administrator.

I was running around securing the budget, improving the skills to use tools, and understanding the concept of network,

If necessary, I programmed the tool myself (for example, I made a sort of "pod chat" on e-mail system).

Moreover, there was no concept of security at the time, so the workstations in my office are not only directly connected to the external net, but also could be accessed by outside persons. The super pastoral world was realized without problems.

When I saw the notice of the animation "Violet Evergarden" with the theme of "Auto secretary - doll",

I thought "Is this about artificial intelligence, android", but, The theme was the opposite(the details are omitted).

It is an animation of really beautiful images (of course, it is a very wonderful story too)

From the start to the end of the program, it makes me feel like I am in an art museum where beautiful pictures are displayed.

When I visited "Orsay (× Louvre) Art Museum", I remember the time when I was overwhelmed by its beauty and lost my energy ---- as a good memories of overseas business trips that gave me a lot of unpleasant feelings.

It is rare for me, but I sometimes stop a picture and I am looking at it ---- to stop the movie and watch it as a picture.

Well, aside from that.

I read three articles only today, stating that "It will be the era when artificial intelligence will do if it is a simple task."

(Continuation from yesterday)

First of all, I cannot understand the thought that virtual money becomes investment choices.

You know, the value of money is generated by an illusion, In concrete terms, "the material cost of ten one-thousand yen bills is a few yen."

The reason why we can repute currency of in other countries to investment choices, is that we can value the economic situation as the illusion.

However, according to virtual money, virtual money comes to generate the illusion itself.

Of course, I think it is a good illusion.

Especially, if you know the making process of virtual money, that needs enormous electric and computer power, you can understand it so much more.

However, I don't think that many people can understand about the electric and calculation power, and share the illusion. To tell you the truth, I think that the ratio is absolutely "zero".

-----

How to say, a hero in a boy's comic, who is brutal and unmeaning in many cases, will be shouting with his proud look

"I decide validation of my worth on myself"

Of course, I feel his action is likely to be a comic performance.

And I come to say "Here here, are you O.K. ?".

-----

"Your validation is decided by others, except for you"

"I am afraid that you think much of yourself"

I'm wondering whether to go to the movie "Fukushima 50" or not

This is because of these reasons.

-----

"NHK Special October Nightmare-Record of the Cuban Crisis and Horror of 1962 (NHK Special) (1992)" (pictures out)

This program shocked me.

It is no exaggeration to say that this program created me today as a "simulation maker"

I also bought DVDs and watched them at least 30 times.

After that, I continued to study about the "Cuba Crisis" and now I am confident that I have enough knowledge to present to anyone, anywhere, anytime, from the start of this accident to the end.

However another problem occurred.

I remember coming out of the cinema, furiously, after watching the movie "13 Days" (2000) starring Kevin Costner.

"No depth, flimsy, frivolous rash, not contemplating, and short thought", I remember going home while saying all kinds of abusive language.

Yeah, I know well. Again, "I" am "wrong".

Movies are mass entertainment.

For many, movies should be easy to understand, accept, and enjoy.

If they create a movie targeting a "special" person who can write a column of about 100 pages at any time about the "Cuba Crisis" like me,

The movie would have been a huge failure for box office.

I am proud to be one of the few people who have probably read the entire report (over 600 pages) of the Fukushima Nuclear Accident Investigation Commission, in spite of not directly involved in the accident.

I reread "Countdown Meltdown" by Yoichi Furuhashi three times.

(By the way, about Kaoru Takamura's "God's Fire", I have definitely read the book more than 100 times.)

I watched all NHK specials related to Fukushima nuclear power plant,

I am also the author of the accident commentary column from an engineer's perspective.

"What if the result of watching the movie "Fukushima 50" is similar to "13 Days""

I will hesitate to go to the movie theater.

If I go to a movie, I want to have fun.

I don't just want to go to the movies and get angry and go home.

So I would like to ask you.

Could you tell me personally, subjectively and self-righteously whether the movie "Fukushima 50" is proper for Ebata?

I hope you can judge it from the huge number of miscellaneous sentences that I have described so far.

I appreciate your kind cooperation.

If they say that, the response takes only a few seconds -- I just say, 'No, thank you,' and hang up the intercom.

It is a win-win for both parties, preventing the waste of valuable time.

Later, I looked in the mailbox and found a postcard titled "Invitation to Bible Study".

This time, it seemed to be "religion".

Still, I thought, it was reckless of her to visit this Ebata family in this town for missionary work.

By the way, I would accept a request to be a "lecturer" for a Bible study group.

Let me give you a quantitative evaluation of God.

I suddenly remembered that our first pre-marital crisis was a gap in our honeymoon destination.

I suggested that,

- "Grotto Temples" in Afghanistan

-"Wall of Lamentation" under the jurisdiction of the United Nations (or Palestine or Israel)

Other places I remember suggesting include Poland and Osifientim (where the Auschwitz concentration camp was located).

Well, everything was rejected by my wife.

-----

Since I was the one who had sought the marriage, I could not file an objection to the dismissal.

However, I should have gone 'back then' when I was physically more robust and had a higher tolerance for mental shock.

-- I want to leave this as my testament to the younger generation.
