(Continuation from yesterday)

I start to study something of several fields, I buy rather expensive books to understand complex formulas or theories.

In many cases, the cost of books are more expensive than lotteries or betting tickets.

I don't know what I should call this my behavior.

But I think that there are a lot of persons who order another person to study or fight something, and are satisfied with the results.

For example,

Guardians who want to keep their pride to make their children enter a famous high-ranking school

Bosses who insist on finding a new invention or analysis by themselves, though the fruits are based on their subordinate officer's hard efforts

Children who play games or watch animations, that training small-size monsters and making them fight with each other.

We are birds of a feather, after all.

Let me say.. the title of the game or animation is "Pocket Monster" as I recall.
