Last Sunday, I made a contract with a carrier about Smart Phone (iPhone) at an appliance stores for my senior daughter for congratulation for high school entrance.

However I had much time to complete the contract, because I checked each service menu one by one.

Finally, I could not blow my cool. I said "Show me both initial and monthly cost, regardless of detailed issues. the salesperson gave me the cost easily.

I strongly advice you to do this way, if you have a plan to exchange your cell phone to a new one.

When I got the smart phone from the salesperson, he told me again and again that the initial activation of the smart phone was very very complicated.

"Come on! Initial device activations are nothing for me."

I made light of the process.

It was like a life and death struggle. 。

First of all, I couldn’t understand the system concept.

- Two companies manage one device simultaneously, and some functions are shared and others are not.

- In order to inherit the previous cell phone environment, we should access more than three server accounts.

- The manual shows contradictious texts, GUIs and menus.

- Two mail addresses exist in the device, and improper mail address is used.

- As WiFi environment, I can't estimate cipher type, and I have to try and error the selection again and again.

- The length of my daughter's new mail address is more than twelve characters. The device has no function of the buffer, so I have to enter the same address more than thirty times with inconvenient keyboard.

- The device warned me that my ordinal password was weak and recommended me to use long and complicated pass code.

I am confident that I could recover from two crashed PC, if I were given the time.

For the first time, I wanted to throw the device down floor and crash it impulsively.

But I think that it is not serious problem.

About half of people in Japan are now using the worst device. That means they succeeded in the initial construction of the device.
