2019-07-15 "I want to redo that vote" [長年日記]

I can not go to the election next weekend because of the First Anniversary of my father's death.

So, I went to a nearby city hall to vote early.

It was quite crowded, and the reception system of the government office was almost the same as the election on the day. I think

"The cost of early voting is also a fair amount"

It is good if cost can be reduced (such as reducing the number of polling places on the day) by decentralizing voting.

However, in past cases, the ratio of early vote on all voters seems to be around 20%.

There seems not to much hope for dispersion effects.

-----

By the way, if candidates and party leaders make a slip of the tongue, the outcome of the election may change dramatically.

For that former minister, there is a rumor that the party leader has issued an instruction "Don't give him a microphone."

I also thought, "If someone make a problem of a slip of the tongue, it will be him". So I believe that the rumor is true.

Well, that aside.

-----

If the candidate or politician makes an "inappropriate statement" after early voting,

"I want to redo that vote"

will not be accetable, absolutely.
