2016-07-05 I had been respected excessively by the simple reasons .... It was good old days (distant look) [長年日記]

The other day, my junior daughter told me that garbled characters are displayed on my HomePage from her smart-phone.

This is a typical problem in the countries that don't use characters except for alphabet. Japan also has had same problem since computers appeared.

-----

First of all, computers had no concept of characters, not to say languages when they appeared.

For computers, alphabet is just parts to make operation commands for computers.

Therefore, there was no problem that computers could understand just alphabet and numbers, and people who didn't use alphabet usually, could not use computers.

-----

"I can input some commands to a computer"

"I can make a program"

I had been respected excessively by the simple reasons.... It was good old days (with distant look)
