2015-12-02 Now we take it for graded that we use multi-display. [長年日記]

Now we take it for graded that we use multi-display.

I am using a software "Synergy" that enables me to use three PCs and four displays with just one keyboard and one mouse.

"Very useful"

From now I have used a software "MaxVista" that can make it possible to use four displays like one big display. But recently, present display becomes bigger that that of old.

"Synergy" is superior to the function of copy and paste, that can do for not only "text" but also "gif" and "jpeg" ("MaxVista" sometime doesn't work well)

The client PC (that is after the second PC) can start to work before Windows login view comes. (I have to Windows login with another keyboard and mouse before)

Previously I wrote a column of electric consumption and I notice that "office" become the top of the consumption ratio dynamically for this ten years.

I remember that it became more than two times.

I think the reason of the increasing consumption is absolutely the power of PC and display for one person in office.

In my case, I use three PCs and four displays on the two different network.

But it is not true that my performance became four times.
