2014-01-30 "The STAP-cell has capability of making placenta" [長年日記]

Needless to say that "multipotential cell" is really terrific, however,

I also respect the person who discover a material the brings a specific cell from the "multipotential cell".

Though I am sorry that I don't have the paper, the detector seems to be also Japanese.

It is meaningless if we cannot change the multipotential cells into specific cells.

-----

Though I have studied ES-cells and iPS-cells about for two months and I think that I can say "I understand", surprise news is coming today.

"STAP-Cells"

I read that on the web site, and I was really surprised at the cell.

"Socking a cell into weakly acidic liquid solution -> completed"

I am about to say "Really!?"

But what I was really surprised is the following,

"The STAP-cell has capability of making placenta, differ from ES, iPS cells"

"Placenta! Really? Really and really? I have never heard such terrific news for one year. It is not "multipotential cell" but "master-cell"

I am going to say "have you completed submitting a patent application, haven't you?”

For the best of my knowledge, this is big impressive news since the news of high-speed neutrino.

Unfortunately, the news also let me down because I am afraid that I cannot complete the study of the STAP-cell by the next release.

-----

Anyway, I was surprised at ES-cell and astonished at iPS-cell. And I was shaked at the STAP-cell.

I think the world give me an illusion time for two month in order to surprise me.
