After my father's death, both my sister and I have to do the procedure about his account and insurance for my mother. However mother is at a home for the old.

So we had to work as agents of my mother just after my father's funeral.

Though, Many people had already written it, the most difficult procedure is to prove that "we were real father's children, and we have proper qualify as my mother's agent.

How can we prove that we were real father's children at law ?

This is not so difficult. We can show the copy of my father's family register, and deacquisition of both my sister and me. In addition, we can show the copy of my family register and I have already made a new census register.

The problem is to prove "my father was himself"

In order to prove this fact, we have to gather all document of his census register as his birth records.

The next day of the funeral, my sister and I went to the city hall to remove my father's name from the register.

Next, I had to go the city hall of my father's family home, and get his census register for his birth certificate.

I borrowed the from my sister, and drove the car, given into smartphone GPS and Google map and arrived at the city hall after one-half hour.

As is to be expected, the office seemed to be used to their works. I came to know an unexpected fact here.

The place where the city hall manages was not my father's birth place(that means. my father had moved before)

Ebata:"You said that I have to go another city hall from now, don't you ?"

The office:"Yes, it is"

Ebata:"Can you assure that the next city hall will be the terminal ?"

The office:"No, we can't. If you find the new information of register, I am sorry but you should go the next city hall"

Ebata:"Can you check the information here"

The officer:"No we can't. We have just information that belonged in the competence of this city hall"

I thought that it was natural.

I went country home for 12 hours. If I encountered a traffic jam as early as 6 hours by car.

The cost is going to be more expensive that using the Shinkansen for four people of my family.

However, the family lifestyle continues to change.

One is for an internship, one is for a trip, one is for going country home, and I am also going counter home again.

"There is no way in front of me. A road appears behind me". This is one phrase of famous peom in Japan.

When I read this poem for the first time, I thought, "This person (poet) is a pessimist who cannot calculate the cost"(*).

"Walking the road in front of me, I reach the destination with the lowest road construction cost when needed. I will collect usage fees for the roads behind me"

I read the news that an old man blamed the purchase of "potato salad" or "frozen dumplings" for being "corrupt" -- that's what I read.

Well, I've said a lot of things somethings.

I meant to write the following in a past diary.

- You'll be cooking rice with a cauldron and wood, without cutting corners.

- You should be carving letters on a piece of bamboo without using a pen and paper, without cutting corners.

In my experience, there are certain dishes that do not have a linear relationship between the cost of cooking (time and money) and the quality of the finished product.

Incidentally, according to the data, the number of missing persons among these wandering elderly is 17,565 per year (in 2022).

No matter how widespread the use of smartphones becomes, media that appeal only to the human auditory sense is the most powerful.

It can undoubtedly limit (locally) the number of people involved (collaborators) and is expected to be effective.

In general, digital is convenient, but it still cannot match the power of analog.
