2014-08-11 Whenever I hear the phase, I always have one same question. "Where?"

"ZIP 100-0004 1-3-4 Oote-machi Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo"

Do you know the place?

This is the address of Meteorological Office(Met Office).

------

Yesterday, the typhoon gave Japan terrible damages and go away to Nihonkai-Sea without compensation.

Apart from that.

We often hear the following phase in news program,

"The Meteorological Agency calls for severe caution for the flooding and sand disaster around the river"

Whenever I hear the phase, I always have one same question.

"Where?"

-----

Thinking commonly, the staff of the Meteorological agency distributes a handbill in front of the building.

So, I hope,

I am going to visit to the above address to observe their works, when the next typhoon is coming.

if necessary, I want to help to distribute the handbill.

(The correct answer: Meteorological Service Standards Article 15)

2015-08-11 "prohibit watching all animations except for Steins;Gate.

Now I live in my parent's house with my junior daughter.

For a good chance, I ask her to cook and wash in this house.

At the time except it, she continues watching animations of my archive by my PC.

I am afraid that it is not good way as a her guardian.

Some time ago, I ordered her to

"prohibit watching all animations except for Steins;Gate.

She ought has no time to review Madomagi and Hyouka.

So I enforce her to watch Steins;Gate with saying "I exempt you from your housework during the time"

-----

If she can reach the 4th story, I will win.

2016-08-11 "There is no business card"

The other day, I had specially to participate in the meeting of the standards bodies, I noticed I had a trouble a few days before.

"There is no business card"

However, I have received the invitation as a "personal".

How to say, I hear that opening real name in comic market, or SAO (Sword Art Online) is taboo.(I do not know well, though, will that so?)

Of course, I always introduce my name to others, but I hesitate to tell the belongs.

To begin with, I am a free engineer in my weekend, and there is no organization.

However, this "no belongs" becomes troublesome.

In particular, it is the "corporate name → blank", "department → blank" "address → home address" when you fill in the documents.

Such documents, at suspiciously is full, do not give me a receipt.

So, it does not have the corporate registration,

Now my identity is,

to belong

the organization whose name is "Kobore Networks"

to work for

Secretary-General (and writer)

and I write down the above in documents.

2017-08-11 "My heart wants to eat curry"

I often wrote that again and again, I love spicy food.

"Japanese curry" (that doesn't exist in India) is a pronoun of "spicy food", however I cannot feel hot about all of time in Japan.

I usually use "LEE x 20 times by Guriko Co." and put much red and green peppers into the curry soup.

Yesterday, I strongly felt that

"My heart wants to eat curry"

(It is just a parody of the movie "My heart wants to cry")

I heard that just before catching a cold, human beings want to take ingredients contained in curry.

Recently (also) I have been exhausted everyday. However, I also had to return my country home this summer, and I will not allowed to fail there. Finally I decided to force "a curry for one person.

2018-08-11 Ms. Kana Hanazawa, voice actress should be given a national honor award.

Previously, I wrote a diary saying "Ms. Miyuki Nakajima of the singer should be given a national honor award."

-----

Even for just this week, I was

teared by the phrase of "Mayuri Shiina" of Stein's Gate Zero 17th episode

burst into laughter by the shout of "red blood cell" of "working cell" the 5th episode.

Therefore, I think that,

Ms. Hanazawa Kana, voice actress who has continued giving breath to countless animated characters,

should be given a national honor award.

-----

I think that animation in Japan is already on a stage, to remove "sub" from "subculture"

How do you think that this a good chance ?

I think that you can leave my name in history > M. Prime Minister of Japan.

2019-08-11 "Well, you said the book. I disagree with the book"

I always say "you don't have to books of writer of great literature against reason, even if the books you make you tired", however I don't say "you don't have to books of writer of great literature".

There are short and enjoyable books of writer of great literature.

In short, many books of writer of great literature are unreadable.

"Style", "historical backdrop" and "conventional wisdom" are different from those of present.

I doubt if we have to read the books against reason.

However, I think that it is important that "picking a book of writer of great literature up, and read a few pages of the first part".

Because, we can use a important phrase

"Well, you said the book. I disagree with the book"

for appearance sake.

-----

So far, recently, I found an animation figure on a book jacket of writer of great literature in a book store.

That is a character of the animation of "Bungo Stray Dogs".

Several times I watched this animation, however I could not explain about it. So I left one word.

"This animation isn't for me"

On the other hand, this book jacket is great helpful to realize "picking a book of writer of great literature up, and read a few pages of the first part".

Especially for teenagers.

I want the publishing company to make progress this plan.

----

I love the book by the late Yasushi Inoue sensei, and I think that I have read through the whole volume, even if he was not in the category of writer of great literature.

If the late Yosushi Inoue-sensei is included in "Bungo Stray Dogs (Showa era)", I can prepare to watch the animation with effort.

I think that the first to be adopted will

Extraordinary "Shirobanba"

However for me, I want to strongly recommend,

Extraordinary "Natsukusa Fuyunami"

2020-08-11 "Let us go back to square one .... no, bring it back to zero"

"Let us go back to square one .... no, bring it back to zero"

This is one of the famouse phrase in the most popular animation.

If I have't known it, I came to think

"It means the first attention from a mentor about an array descrition of C language

so I thought vaguely.

int a[100]

After calling array declaration, and inputting

a[100」= 123;

I don't notice the error and let the system go down, and so on.

-----

I don't know that programming education, which the Ministry of Education (or rather the government) is focusing on, is now doing well.

One way to check is the following.

In response to the teacher's words to the children, "Please count to ten"

If the number of children counting like, "Zero, One, Two....". exceedes half of the class,

I believe that programming education in Japan can be judged as a "general success".

On the other hand, if they start with "One, Two, ...", then I can say that they are not ready now.

2021-08-11 My senior daughter told me that she couldn't watch "The movie Crayon Shin-chan The Great Battle in Warring States period" is not available on Amazon Prime.

My senior daughter told me that she couldn't watch "The movie Crayon Shin-chan The Great Battle in Warring States period" is not available on Amazon Prime.

Maybe she want to have a screening at a friend's house, I think.

But, well, what can I say -- I did something about it (details omitted).

-----

Together with "Crayon Shin-chan The Adult Empire Strikes Back in heavy storm", these two movies are the best of Japanese movies (not "Japanese animation movies").

As a father, I am willing to help her for her activity.

-----

People who know about these two works naturally know about them, and people who don't know about them naturally don't know about them -- it cannot be helped, however,

I think it's better to watch them without prejudice.

I won't let you regret it.

2022-08-11 "Well, I can understand how the bizarre criminals in the movie were serial killers.

Starting today, I am returning home for my mother's first obon.

No sooner had I arrived at the house, I started gardening, and tried a thorough streamlining.

I had bought a electric chainsaw, and this time I also bought a lawn mower. I am thoroughly cutting corners.

I decided, "That's better than collapsing from heat stroke."

Two pocket mosquito coils were attached to my waist and I began working on them this evening.

-----

However unexpectedly, the chainsaw was more useful than the lawn mover.

I was thoroughly cutting everything, whether it was grass or trees.

I don't want to say too much, but it is "quite a pleasant feeling.

"Well, I can understand how the bizarre criminals in the movie were serial killers.

I could realize it deeply.

On the other hand, a chainsaw is heavy, hard to use. If it is a stand alone type(no power cable), I think that it is not difficult to run away from a guy wielding a chainsaw.

------

So I swung the chainsaw around so much that the chain came off and became unusable, so I had to stop work for the day.

I was thinking of purchasing a second unit, but tried to repair it anyway. I will work on it tomorrow and see how it goes.

Working in the garden on a very hot day is insane.

However, it is quite fun to throw in all sorts of equipment and cut corners thoroughly.

2023-08-11 I could be sure that I would be the one to write the "Banzai for the Great Patriotic Party" column.

Of the 3.1 million people who died in the Pacific War (not including non-combatants),

"70%" were not killed in action, but died of disease (malaria, etc.).

I was quite shocked when I learned this.

When I told this story to my wife, she was surprised as well.

Most Japanese soldiers died because they were not even allowed to fight.

-----

I have been doing my own research on the Japanese military during the Pacific War.

And the more I looked into it, the more I came to one certainty.

"If I replaced all the Japanese people of today with all the Japanese people of then, we would do the same thing."

-----

I am not condemning the Japanese as a people.

I am condemning myself -- not self-criticism, but self-condemnation.

It is because, at my age, I have come to understand that I, as a mere member of society, who does not have my life in danger, am a person who

"looks to my superiors,"

"makes discoveries,"

"turns a blind eye to unreasonableness and irrationality in the workplace," and

"does not lend a helping hand to those in need.

-----

And if I were placed in a situation where the state, in a system of war, suppressed speech, controlled thought, and subdued public opinion by force -

I could be sure that I would be the one to write the "Banzai for the Great Patriotic Party" column.

And, what's worse, I will write "in the groove" instead of "reluctantly" -- using numbers all over the place.

-----

I have said this many times before, and I will repeat it.

I am not a person who stands on the side of justice.

I am a person who stands on the side of my self-preservation.

I don't want you to expect anything from me.

-----

Junior: "Mr. Ebata, can you tolerate this kind of behavior?"

Ebata: "What are you talking about? I'm just a 'company dog.'"

Every year, as August 15 approaches, I recall this exchange with a junior as I watch the NHK special.

-----

In addition to this, this year also brings to mind the Bataan Death March.

I cannot stay outdoors this summer, even for just two minutes.

When I go outdoors, I feel my body burning.

I wonder if someone does the 'walk 83 km over three days, with little water and food, with a corona infection, at noon this summer' experiment -- well, they won't.

-----

Anyway, I still tell myself, 'Even if I have to die without knowing why, I deserved it on someone else's orders.
