I didn't talk this story, but my parents might have noticed me, looking blue.

I was asked the reason by them, and I explained about this accident. After that they asked me how much I needed to get the power supply.

When I answer the price of the power supply provided by a famous company which covered the two times ampere of the radio, they gave me the money easier.

I was very happy.

Though I don't remember when I was given the radio, I have a vivid recollection that I confirmed the supply and radio went well.

Ham radio was one of the expensive hobbies, because each machine and device price was high.

My family was be in necessitous circumstances, and it was difficult for me to ask my parents something except for commodities.

So I continued doing all kinds of things to save money, for example, lifting up a cheap antenna on the roof, and make connectors of cable by myself.

In order to realize "talking to person far off", I studied telegram and Morse code, and got the license.

In the frequent band I have ordinary used, the radio wave went thought ionized layer and reached to the space. But in the quite short time in summer season, a ionized layer (Sporadic E layer) happened and it could reflect the wave.

At the moment, the wave continued reflecting between the layer and ground, and it reached far away.

I cannot forget a memory, that I could decode the characters "NAHA OKINAWA" from Morse code.

About two years ago, my family went skiing, so this "one person sky" is after an absence of a few years.

The cycle of "one person ski" becomes rapid, because I don't have to think about other members, and do it by myself.

In addition, I can try only my favourite courses of ski place, and the total consumed calories become bigger.

So, I know that these event make me blind.

"It is no problem to eat too much, because I exercise too much."

So I don't eat much, even if I go to a expert ski course more than 20 times.

Of course, I am familiar with "weight error" however, this value exceeds the error range so far.

Smorgasbord of last week's wedding anniversary, the weekend effect without exercise, and others is not enough to explain this weight.

Events that deviate from the everyday significantly, like "one person skiing" as extraordinary, have something that upsets "my body" as precision machine.

Recently, I am looking for a used smart-phone that has no voice communication function(No SIM card).

I don't have an intention of "I want to put smart-phone into place", but begin to think "I will get into trouble if I remain undone it".

For younger, the speed of Japanese input method of smart-phone becomes really redoubtable.

This speed might be rather faster than that of input for my PC.

In addition, the population of smart-phone users is overwhelming now.

When I become older and oral communications becomes more difficult, I think that a smart-phone might be a last method.

This thought might come to me because I commit both care and nurture.

Contrary, people might deal with people who cannot use a interface of smart-phone

Have I taken care of people who could not use push-phone service, FAX, PC, e-mail, and web-browser, and shown alternative methods, for example analog, printing and other services ?

I am afraid that I have not done.

If someone points out that I left some people who cannot use e-mail our of communication, it cannot be helped that I say "YES".

However, I don't think that it is "severe".

Perhaps abandoning those who can not take it into daily life even when "paper", "pencil" or "telephone" has appeared, I believe that civilization has developed.

The development of technology and the paradigm shift of civilization always flows to "easy", however, it is unavoidable that a certain amount of "hardship" should be needed in order to reach that "easy".

"Youth" cannot feel as "hardship" against the power and speed, and I used to be on that side once.

Even so, if there are past data or future prediction analysis (for example "easy regression analysis"), they might be helpful for the readers. But nothing is doing.

It means that "they don't know how to use the EXCEL(spreadsheet)", before "luck of basic math literacy", or "contempt of data".

For example, the annoying operation of "plotting a graph on cross-section paper" is available using not only PC but smart-phone.

From the viewpoint, I think junior school students are going to use smartphone as a "calculator" more and more.

Now, "to bring smartphone into junior school" becomes an object of public concern.

I also think that "to use smartphone in school, as a communication device" should deserve careful and thoughtful consideration.

Even if it is true, this problem comes to resolve to cancel the communication function of smartphone. For example, there are technologies,

- "Jammer" that cancel the communication around a specified area,

In addition, if a school installs a private wireless LAN environment,

- "Redirect" that makes all the Internet communication pass through the school server.

The school can make common cause with carriers, and disturb.. correction.. restrict or monitor the students access. (They have already been possible)

Moreover, a school should installs the IT infrastructure positively and strategically, and use IT as a education tool. These activities will make everyone happier.

I think that this is engineer's karma that try to resolve anything by using "technology", however, I also think that these knowledges lose nothing by doing.

Maybe, the time is coming that we have to accept a new paradigm of "a human being is at one with a small calculator (smartphone)".

Before, I wrote a diary "I'm worried about whether or not to simulate the infection of coronavirus (COVID-19)"

In fact, I've been working on creating a simple simulator (C/C ++) using a virtual city traffic simulation (railway and bus only) as a hobby for the past year or so.

Currently, as many (virtual) humans as the ordinance-designated cities can be moved on my personal computer.

However, I thought that it would take a little more than 2 hours for a simulation of 20 hours a day, so it couldn't be used easily.(For an one hour future prediction, 10 minutes is enough)

And the bottleneck of this simulator is "moving".

In the U.S. presidential election, I don't have to move people to polling places. In this simulator, 100 units of trains and buses, and tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of people move at a stretch and must track them in seconds.

To be honest, when I start calculating this simulation, I feel like I can hear a scream from my computer.

So, when I thought, "It is difficult to use it as a simulator as it is" "I wonder if a day's simulation can be done in about 20 minutes" and about remodeling, this new corona infection disaster occurred.

I've been playing with a variety of predictive techniques so far, I could not predict the spread of the new corona infection disaster.

The current reality is far from reality.

Also, with this simulator, I can't do simulations of school closures, or simulations of midnight Shinjuku and Shibuya drunks.

All I can do is a city traffic simulation in a virtual city on the premise of commuting to work.

In this simulation, throwing in a certain number of corona infected people and roughly determining the infection rate according to the riding rate, I can watch the number of infected people increasing just keeping turning the computer.

By the way, because of me, deaths according to age will also be counted.

If I sort out the results of this simulation, I may be able to watch an insane and nasty (virtual) reality.

(It's very unusual, however) I thought, "I don't want to see the simulation results"

As for my "abject indifference" to clothing, my wife seemed to have given up on that after two years of marriage.

My wife may see me as being in the same category as the men talked about in "Otaku" & "Akihabara", but this is actually not correct either.

I think they have their own particular way of dressing like that. They are wearing such (what?) clothing because they are particular about it -- maybe.

However, I have my own particular way of thinking about clothes.

It is not "design" but "function.

Specifically, (1) cost, (2) durability, (3) comfort, and (4) reusability.

Cheap, Wearable for a long time, not easily frayed or torn, not constrict the body, not feel uncomfortable, keep to range of motion of the body, not uncomfortable when trying to fit any kind of clothing.

I buy a lot of my clothes from Amazon.com, especially jeans, which I order 100% from Amazon.com (it means "from China").

However, I have to "hem" the jeans myself after it arrive.

I don't have any hand-sewing skills, nor do I know how to operate a sewing machine (we don't have one in the first place).

So, I have been relying on "hemming tape", but this also peels off as time goes by. It doesn't last more than a year.

To begin with, it is when I put on your jeans that I notice that the hem is falling apart.

I get dressed five minutes before I go out, so by the time I notice the hem crumbling, it's too late.

However, rethinking what to wear is a "hassle" or honestly a "pain" for me.

Therefore, I recommend "wood glue".

(As I have already mentioned several times, I am also trying to restore dishes with wood glue.)

I apply wood glue to the fallen hem, and temporarily fix it with staples.

Then I go out -- an hour after I leave the house, it will stick and it's enough to remove the staple needle by hand.

For example, I remove a stapler from a station bench.

The bond is applied to the inside of the jeans, so there are no appearance issues.

(If I have to apply it on the outside, I can paint over it with an oil-based magic marker of the same color as your clothes. It is so-so)

My family calls this kind of behavior of mine "poor-looking" which is a misnomer in two ways.

First of all, our family has always been tight on money. So This is not "poor-looking" but "poor"

Secondly, how do I consider it easy to dispose of an item just because a part of it (hem, hole, etc.) is missing?

I am an engineer who builds home security systems with parts I pick up at junk shops in Akihabara.

I am not convinced that parts that is still functional enough to be used them not fulfilling their purpose.

As a matter of fact, I am a truly "heartfelt" person.

Ishizaka Masataka (1841-1907), the supreme leader of the Mittama Liberal Civil Rights Movement, was first elected to the House of Representatives in the first general election (Kanagawa Prefecture primary election, Kanagawa Ward 3).

However, he was elected for his third and fourth terms in Tokyo's 13th ward.

In other words,

"The government was trying to cut off the opposition (Liberal Party) by forcing them to change their constituencies"

This seems to have been the purpose behind the transfer of the Tama area to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

In any case, if there is a "strangely shaped administrative district," whether it is a state or a municipality, it is a good idea to suspect "political strife (or war) in the past" first.

The greatest reward for those who make things is that "the thing works.

The above may be similar to "defeating the last boss" in games (I don't play games, so I'm not sure).

Both 'working things' and 'defeats the raspberry' are ultimate subjectivity.

There is no third-party perspective there.

The evaluation I get from someone else is objective, but (I don't know about anyone else, but I) don't care about objectivity.

The "working things" and "defeating the raspberry" can be summed up in one word: "a means of amusing oneself.

I once asked my wife the difference between a "cabaret-going husband" and a "husband who puts his time into programming that may or may not make money."

I have devoted myself to work and research (including programming) on all days, including weekends and holidays, for the past year and a half since I have been at the university. I don't remember going out. I have canceled all drinking parties.
