私のこれまでの人間観察の範囲では、優れた成果を上げた人は、自分のことを「凄い」と思っていないようなのです。

彼等は、彼等自身の自分の能力を、良い方向には客観的に評価できないのです。
They can not objectively evaluate their own abilities in a good direction.
自分の研究成果を『運が良かった』と言い、実際にそう信じている。

逆に、自分のことを「凄い」と見せようとする人は、私の基準では「全然凄くない奴」(人のアイデアや成果をパクっているような奴)だったことが多いです。

だからこそ、彼らは、無自覚に無邪気に、大量殺戮兵器や、超高効率の炉(但し、暴走したら止める手段のない炉)を、バカスカ発明してきたんじゃないかな、と思うのです。
