(Continuation from yesterday)
ところで、ソ連という国は崩壊して、ロシアという国が再生することになったのですが、ソ連の崩壊を、正確に予言していた人が、私の身近にいました。
After the Soviet Union was collapsed, Russia was revitalized. There was a person who forecasted the collation near by me.
私の父です。
It was my father.
父の理屈は明快で「競争のない社会では、労働意欲が維持できないから」というものでした。
His theory is very simple that "no race, no drive to work".
一方、当時の私は、「色々な主義の矛盾点を互いに補う社会が、段階的に実現されていく」だろう、という予言をしていました。
On the other hand, in my opinion at that time, I believed that "many contradictions come to decrease step by step with covering defaults each others".
現在の世界には、まだ「社会主義国」を名乗る国が残っています。
There are many self-designation "socialist countries" in the world.
しかし、それらの国のその社会主義政策が形骸化している(隣りの大国)、または、あるいは独裁化している(隣の隣りの小国)、のどちらかの状態になっているように、私には見えます。
But I think there are two types of "socialist country". One is to become a dead letter about the social public policies. The other is to become a despotic state.
そう考えると、やっぱり父の明快なロジックの方は正しかった ―― と、思います。
Thinking the above, my father's simple logic is right, I think.

Let me change the topic.
先日、著名人自身による「自分の失敗」を題材として、講義を行うという形の、バラエテイ番組を見ていました。
The other day, I watched a popular variety TV program, that a showfolk comes out his/her failure of their life, and gives us some advices in their lecture.
この番組では、自分自身の失敗だけではなく、歴史上の偉人といわれている人の失敗についても語られているようです。
In this program, not only the failure of their own, the failure of historical great people are introduced.
今回は、「マルクス」が登場し、マルクスの(失敗の)生涯と、マルクスーレーニン主義を掲げて建国されたソ連の失敗(国家崩壊)までの経緯を、非常に分かりやすく説明していました。
"Marcus" was introduced at the last show, and the showman explained failures of his life and the process from the start of the Soviet Union to the end Marxism-Leninism.
"資本論(マルクス主義)の目的は『格差是正社会の実現』です!"
"The purpose of "Kapital" is to realize an equal society"
と、そのタレント芸人さんが叫んだとき、私は目を丸くしたものです。
When he explained the phrase loudly, I was really surprised with wide eyes.
