2015-09-10 ―― 自爆テロ [長年日記]

人身事故というのが、「当人が制御できない状態で、突発的に発生する行動の結果」である ―― という話は、すでに何度も行ってきました。

I have often told you a story that "accident resulting in injury or death" is "a result of accidental action, that even the person in-question in oneself cannot control ".

事実「その通り」であるし、「そう思わなければやってられない」という気持もあるからです。

In fact, it it true, and I cannot help but thinking it like that.

また、「そういう状態にならざるを得なかった人による、社会が救済できなかったことに対する抗議行動」 ―― とも、考えるようにしています。

And, as usual, I think that this is a sort of protest, which the hopeless victims try it against unrelieved society.

なにより、私が、そのような経験の持ち主だからです。

Above all, I was a person like the above.

『私の意思に反して、私の足が勝手に、私の体をホームから落下させようとする』という、あの「制御不能」の恐怖は、体験した人にしか分からないと思うのです。

I am afraid that few people can understand that a fear of "my legs was putting my body down the station platform against my will"

ところが ――

But,

先日、『疲れ果てていて、吐きそうなほどしんどい』という日の深夜に、帰宅を不可能にさせかねない人身事故に巻き込まれました。

A mid-night of the other day, when I was too exhausted and was likely to vomit, I got involved in an "accident resulting in injury or death" that was going to be impossible to come back home.

一瞬にして、燃えるような炎を感じ、この時、初めて、

I felt a flame blazing instantly, and I came to think of the word in my mind

―― 自爆テロ

"suicide bombing"

という言葉が自分の中に沸き上がってくるのを感じて、自分で驚きました。

I was surprised at what I was.

我に返り、『最近、何かかあったかな?』と考え込んでしまいました。

At the moment, I recovered myself soon, and tried to remember recent events.
