時々、ファンレター(メール)を頂くことがあります。

Sometimes, I get fan letter (mail) from my blog's readers.

元気が出ます。

It makes me feel perky.

トピックで言えば「英語に愛されない」「性同一性障害」「原発事故」などが多いようです。

There seems to be the topics of “English", "GID", "and accident at a nuclear power generation plant".

私の作品が、誰かの何かの役に立っているのであれば、幸せなことだと思います。

If my works make someone happy and are useful for them, I can feel happy.

The other day, I got a mail, including the following phase.

『私は江端様のおかげで「Steins;Gate」と出会うことができました』

"I can meet "Steins;Gate". Thank you so much "

と書かれたファンレターを頂きました。

―― これは、「私」のおかげではなくて「Steins;Gate」おかげだよな

Though I think that this is not for me, but for "Steins;Gate" itself,

と思いながらも、

もしかしたら、私が意図しないうちに、

Without my intention, I might claim that

「年齢に関係なく、アニメであろうがコミックであろうが、良いものは良いのだ」

"Regardless of age, anything good is good, even if it is animation and comic."

「年齢を気にしていたら、人生を損するぞ」

"If you worry about your age, you lose your life".

というメッセージが届いたのであれば、これは「私のおかげ」といっても良いのかもしれないな、などと考えています。
